Signed my child up for k-2 beginner skill classes for basketball. My child took two beginner skill classes and joined a team. Per the online registration and emails, my child was then eligible for k-2 intermediate classes. My child was signed up for intermediate and just completed the class. There was absolutely no difference between beginner and intermediate. It was the same exact skills being taught in the beginner classes. Why is it advertised as such? When contacting Mikaila Newton she immediately answers the phone with an attitude. When asking her why there was no difference in the skills between beginner and intermediate she did not give a definitive explanation. The entire conversation she had an attitude and acted like she couldn't be bothered with our questions. We are highly upset with how we were treated on the phone and with the false advertisement. This review is not a reflection on my child's coach but strictly on MikaIla Newton herself. read more

I love that this facility is close by and offers a wide range of sports for my kiddos, such as soccer, basketball, volleyball and the like. The place seems clean every time we go and the concession stand offers typical snacks and refreshments. Pretzels are yummy, but avoid the "cheese". read more

The manager requested I leave my son's basketball game today bc I was in violation of their COVID restrictions by having a sibling there. The sibling that was with me also plays for PSA and was welcomed with open arms at his own game on Saturday. When I questioned why their was child (appeared to be 4 yr old) sitting at the score keeper's table, the manager responded the child was allowed to stay bc "that child works here." I wasn't aware the State of Texas had lowered the employment age to toddlers. read more

Wow...customer service is not a priority. Walked in to get information, and no one was around. The girl who was outside vaping finally came in and walked last without saying anything. So, I figured she was with the girls volleyball team that was practicing. Nope, turns out she sat down behind the counter and started clicking at her computer. She seemed bothered when I asked for information on kids sports. After two questions and bothered responses, I left. No handouts or brochures. Very disappointed. read more

If you want your kid to love sports, run away from this place !!!! We enrolled our kid in soccer in September. First, I had to go there 3 times to know if there was still some spots available and to be able to enroll him. Then, while the games are on Saturday, the practices are on...Sunday !!!! Where is the logic in all that ? (except, certainly that it arranges the coach...) Games have been cancelled several times, without any reason given, as well as the practices. And at last, the cherry on the top of the cake, we got the right to a coach with no patience at all, no pedagogy at all, and definitely, with 5 yrs old, it doesn't work... too bad for us ! So, yes, this is cheap, and this is the only positive thing of this whole experience :-( JUST STAY AWAY !!! read more

Poor service and unethical. Signed my son a day after registration open and two months later i find out that he is not on a team. When I called multiple times if he is on a team I was told that the commissioner would call back but never did after several attempts. We wanted to know if was going to play as we wanted to get him signed up in Sat morning swim class. We were told twice that most games would be Sat morning but could have some games other nights. So we didnt sign him up. 5 days before the first game we were given to a team where the schedule came out 3 days before the first game on SUNDAY mornings. When I called to get refund they stated that they cannot even thought my son never played a game. So in short 1) it is not first come first serve 2) we were mislead about Saturday play and no refund was given even before the season started 3) schedule and communication is very late 4) commissioner never returns call 5) keeps money for players that have never played but still does not allow to open up the roster for players that are on the wait list that probably signed up well before others. In short, scam and why they have possible nice facilities. They are acquiring more funds than they give service. read more

After reading all the dissatisfied parents, and reviews on other sites. I have decided to provide my most recent letter sent to PSA. Dear Psa, I have overall been exceedingly happy with the services at your facilities. However, while observing basketball games, I have noticed despicable behavior exhibited by the coaches. Being a mother of 4 and an avid basketball fan I know good defense and obvious over exertion of physical force. Lately I've been noticing an increasing approval from coaches to promote aggression however this leaves the interpretation to the children to understand their meaning of aggression. Therefore the coaches promotion and approval of kids being aggressive on the court leads to extreme violence. I find it extremely irritating hearing the over zealous coaches scream to ten year old players "put your elbows out" "get tough" "get mean" "trap him" "push him out". Therefore I find it in the best interest of all parents who enroll their child in your programs to write this email to you. I fully understand the waiver I sign and in no means attend to break it. My purpose is to draw attention to the matter. A prime example would be today, Saturday (5/16/15), my son was injured due to aggression by #32 on the team "Team First". I don't assume that he meant to purposely hurt him. However the aggression presented by the player was identical to what the coach was promoting. I find that the injury was caused by support of extreme aggression shown in the coach. Throughout the game extreme aggression from their team seemed to be pleasing to the coach, he often greeted the sight of over aggression with hand clapping, cheering and jumping. I understand basketball and the way of the game. However, I don't understand the need of extreme aggression found in 5th grade basketball games. Honestly, they don't deserve one star. Signed our son up for tball, SPRING tball, the season started the middle of May and runs through June 24th. Not exactly spring temps. There are 16 kids on his team and 3 teams in his league, no baseball fields, no dugouts, no bleachers or shade for the spectators. Our soon gets to bat once and may get to join the team in the field if he's lucky. Completely unorganized group. I asked for a refund as this is not what we signed up for and was told by Braden Foley, who might be the director of baseball that the policy is NO REFUNDS. We signed our kid up for football... and for a while we waited until the coach was supposed to contact. I finally get concerned and called... not enough kids signed up and they weren't able to make a team. NO one notified us... NO ONE said anything. On top of that... it will take weeks for the refund. How awful and annoying for our whole family who was looking forward to this season. read more

First year ever playing our kids In this league and it will be the last. Heard bad things but decided to try ourselves...gym is extremely warm every game.. Refs are terrible, they do not call consistent two way games EVER.. Not good for teaching kids the rules of basketball due to the lack of inconsistencies across the board. Team we are on has less players than any other team we have played so they obviously play favorites with coaches or do not have enough kids to equal divide teams. Allow for parents to scream and yell at refs. Very unprofessional league! read more

To the persons running the martial arts tournament. The worst organization of an event I've ever seen. Waited 3 hours for my grandson to compete and they moved rings last minute , no announcement , just grabbed kids they thought were competing and my grandson was not allowed to fight. On top of all that is was $20 a person to get in. This whole group needs help. We traveled three hours cost of a hotel then to not even get a chance for my grandson to compete because they never announced his name from the list. read more
