Okay, so we were hungry, like "feed me before I get hangry" hungry. Enter Psari Seafood. I tried their Greek salad, and let me tell you, this was no sad lettuce party. There was so much feta that I had to check if I was accidentally at a cheese festival. The vibe is super chill, like if your Greek aunt invited you over for dinner and also gave you free refills on wine. Staff was lovely - they made us feel like we were at home, but without the weird family drama. The food was great. The seafood was fresher than a new pair of socks. I would go absolutely go back, but next time, we're bringing the whole family.

Have been here a few times. Food is a hit or miss. Sometimes it's really good and fresh and sometimes it's not. Service is good. Can't go wrong with the Bronzino, fried calamari, grilled octopus, and Greek salad. Laid back ambiance. It's not my go to places but when I'm in the area for Greek seafood, it's one of my options.

So yes, this is another late review. Only the review is late, but I'm always early. Blame my busy schedule! My best friend took me here months ago to celebrate my birthday. We sat in the front by the glass window. The restaurant is beautiful, and the restroom is squeaky clean. Christina was our server, and she had her sister serving us after that. Both ladies were lovely and friendly. We ordered cabbage salad, grilled squid, fish taco, and branzino. Everything that we ordered was exceptional! I'm not a cabbage eater, but this cabbage salad made me a cabbage lover. It had a great light taste. Then, we moved on to the grilled squid. Wow! This was my favorite of the night. It was to die for and too young to ignore. Yummy! Then we shared another dish, the fish taco. It came in two. It was pretty good. After that I had the Branzino. Excellent fish with light seasoning. It was one of my best! Hubby came to pick us up, and he thought the restaurant was great and planned to dine in with me soon. He wasn't joking. Within a week, we came back to order. Then we came back for lunch. They offer nice lunch specials! Restaurants in NY are getting smarter. The lunch specials are important if we can do this at busy locations. It's $20 per lunch, and you have plenty of choices from the menu. The portion is slightly smaller than dinner plates, but it was worth it. We have tried the grilled octopus, stuffed flounder, swordfish, and smelts. Everything was great especially the stuffed flounder. At lunch, Agnes took care of our table and takeout. Another fantastic Greek restaurant near us! Recommended to all!

Ate here today for lunch and dinner after work as a substitute paraprofessional at P.S. 234 Q. I had brought seafood tacos both fish and shrimp, then for an appetizer I got a tuna steak and asked to cook it medium first to taste and then recook it again to make it medium well done and then a 7 layer chocolate cake for dessert. It definitely tasted great and delicious and the service was attentive when I greeted by Agnes of what to choose and eat. I couldn't agree more. Finally, I would definitely eat and come back again next time! :)

Excellent shrimp bisque, octopus, and crab cakes. And when we got a pineapple sorbet, the sorbet came in a sliced pineapple.

Really enjoyed our meal here on a beautiful Sunday noon. There was a beautiful outdoor setup with plenty of seating inside if it got too hot. The two of us shared the Broiled Combo and the Greek salad. The salad refreshing but nothing that special, but the Broiled Combo was delicious. It had a good portion of salmon, flounder, shrimp, and scallops for two. The salmon was so tender and juicy that it melts in your mouth. And top the sauce with some of that homemade garlic bread (comp) was a fantastic meal for us. Service was prompt and food came out relatively wuick

It's been a while since I been here but it was still a good as I remembered. Service was great, bartender was great. Food was amazing. Garlic bread always on point. Always needs to order the lemon potato. My favorite thing there was the stuff shrimp which I felt the changed the recipe a bit because I tremendously remembering it being more buttery and saucy. Overall great experience and highly recommend

Had the $20 lunch special. It was great, I had the stuffed flounder, salad, baked potatoe, and garlic bread.

Ordered: Small Greek Salad (~$10): Romaine & iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, feta cheese, kalamata olives & pepporcini Fried Calamari (~$16) Broiled Combo (~$32): salmon, flounder, shrimp, and scallop prepared with garlic and butter with rice and Greek potato chips Aya's take: I love me some Greek seafood! Last time I came here, they were under different ownership and different name. We started off with their complimentary bread which is warm, soft, and loaded with garlic and seasonings. The Greek Salad was nice and crisp but I've had better; the ingredients didn't seem as fresh as I've had in other places. The Fried Calamari was fried perfectly with a light layer of breading. The Broiled Combo is an amazing deal! First of all, you get to try 4 different types of seafood and second, the garlic and butter preparation is light yet flavorful. I enjoyed it very much and it was perfect for sharing. I'm a big fan of rice with dishes like this but the Greek potato chips were fresh and worth a try. All in all, it was a delicious dinner and the staff was super friendly.

Continuing my quest to try every Greek restaurant in Astoria! It's tough work, but someone's gotta do it. Ordered delivery from Psari and had a good experience. My boyfriend and I shared the pork souvlaki platter with lemon potatoes, horiatiki and taramasalata. The lemon potatoes were amazing. Also liked the garlic bread that came with the pork; would try a different meat next time, though.

The whole vibe felt warm and made it a really nice family dinner. My grandma and mom both seemed happy and enjoyed everything, which honestly mattered most. We ordered two Greek salads (definitely could've gotten away with just one -- they're huge and very shareable). We also had the Mediterranean spreads: tzatziki, eggplant, and a spicy spread. Everything was solid and great for sharing. We also got grilled octopus as an appetizer -- super tender and really well done. For my main, I had the grilled deboned red snapper -- absolutely delicious. It came with a creamy lemon sauce on the side that you can pour over the fish, plus oregano fries and grilled vegetables. The veggies were amazing, especially the grilled onions that just melted in your mouth. We also ordered takeout: kefte kebab with fries, which was maybe smaller portion but it was good flavor. For dessert we had a baklava float (I think that was the name) with coffees to finish. Very happy with the whole meal overall. Drinks at the bar beforehand were also a highlight -- sangria and a gin, lavender, elderflower, cucumber cocktail that my grandma actually loved.

The salad was a refreshing complement to the other dishes we ordered. Pita bread that came with it was great. The red snapper was nicely charred, seasoned well, and quite tender. Papoutsaki was the heaviest dish of the bunch but tasty too, a nice combo of flavors. Best Greek restaurant I've had to date!…read more Ambiance (5/5): There are a few tables inside where the decorations are white/blue to the classic décor style of Greek restaurants. There's also plenty of outdoor patio seating with cute vine/florals draped along the seating area. A little dark with the dim lighting when we dined in the evening. Service (5/5): We arrived around 8p on a Sunday evening and it was jammed packed. They had an opening right when we arrived which was super lucky. They were attentive throughout our experience. We were glad that the server's recommendations to # of plates was proportional to our needs. Food (5/5): every single dish was outstanding! The starter was a complementary hummus with the softest, moist, pita bread. I could've easily eaten this and been happy. Our favorite was the baked Halloumi with honey, fig jam and cranberries. The exterior had a nice crust from the caramelized honey. It was rich but paired well with the table pita (which they kindly refilled!!) The next item was Shieftalia pork kebabs which seems so easy but was filled with flavor from the onions and herbs. It paired well with the yogurt sauce. Lastly, we had the baked eggplant (almost reminded me of a Greek version of eggplant parm), this lacked a little flavor but still very good. Wish this dish had a bit more spice. The 3 appetizers were large in portion and enough for the 2 of us to share. We loved it and can't wait to come back!

Specializing in Greek and Cypriot cuisine, they have managed to stick around for the better part of two decades. The date night vibes are quite evident, given how intimate the space is. They've done a good job with the lighting and have made the interior worthy for all group sizes. The outdoor patio dining would be perfect on a spring day, Their strength lies in the food, in which close to each dish is beautifully presented. An immediate go-to would be their makaronia tou fournou, aka Cypriot pastitsio, which looks sort of like a meat based pie with pasta in it. The baked halloumi is visually not the most exciting, but is an excellent appetizer and certainly better than the usual saganaki. Their shieftalia is a series of Cypriot style pork sausage and is one of their most underrated dishes. Folks who can rock the pork should absolutely try it. Start off the meal with their dips sampler, which includes my all-time favorite dip: taramasalata (#2). Most people will recommend the bronzino, but I think their chargrilled octopus is just as deserving as any dish. Service has been a mixed bag in the past, especially when it came to takeout orders for some reason. The ones working here are still professional overall and are good about making quality recommendations for the most optimal experience. ___________ (#1) Thanks, gentrification.
