Service here is so attentive and amazing. The waitress was so professional. Before coming we didn't realize they had an all day prix fixe menu do $35 that includes one soup or salad, entree, drink (glass of house wine, beer or soda) and a side and garlic bread. Honestly it's a lot of food and worth it depending on what you order and if you drink. But when they brought out the soup, both my husband and I made the same comment "wow, that's a big portion". The fish soup is full of salmon and white fish and very filling. The shrimp bisque was equally very filly because of the portion. Both soups were delicious but the bisque was a tad bit on the salty side but I still really enjoyed it. The garlic bread was great for dipping for the soups. For the entrees we ordered the mussels and sides of fries and the shrimp and scallop pasta which not actually on the prix fixe menu but the waitress said I can order anyways which was so nice of her. Pastas don't come with a side. The mussels were way too salty for me but my husband found them ok and the pasta was tasty and flavorful. We both order the White House wine Chablis. We didn't really like it so I ended up ordering the frozen passion fruit drink. Really good and very strong. Loved it. We also added an extra order of the grilled octopus it seemed like a popular dish from all the reviews. This dish was very disappointing. Now that the weather is warmer, the outdoor dining setup is perfect. It has such a great atmosphere whether you're going for a date night, dinner with friends, or just a relaxing meal after work. The white sangria paired perfectly with the fresh seafood and was one of the highlights of the night. What really stands out here besides the food is the service. Okay, so we were hungry, like "feed me before I get hangry" hungry. Enter Psari Seafood. I tried their Greek salad, and let me tell you, this was no sad lettuce party. There was so much feta that I had to check if I was accidentally at a cheese festival. So yes, this is another late review. Only the review is late, but I'm always early. Blame my busy schedule! My best friend took me here months ago to celebrate my birthday. We sat in the front by the glass window. The restaurant is beautiful, and the restroom is squeaky clean. Christina was our server, and she had her sister serving us after that. Both ladies were lovely and friendly. We ordered cabbage salad, grilled squid, fish taco, and branzino. Everything that we ordered was exceptional! I'm not a cabbage eater, but this cabbage salad made me a cabbage lover. It had a great light taste. Then, we moved on to the grilled squid. Wow! This was my favorite of the night. It was to die for and too young to ignore. Yummy! Then we shared another dish, the fish taco. It came in two. It was pretty good. After that I had the Branzino. Excellent fish with light seasoning. It was one of my best! Hubby came to pick us up, and he thought the restaurant was great and planned to dine in with me soon. He wasn't joking. Within a week, we came back to order. Then we came back for lunch. They offer nice lunch specials! Restaurants in NY are getting smarter. The lunch specials are important if we can do this at busy locations. It's $20 per lunch, and you have plenty of choices from the menu. The portion is slightly smaller than dinner plates, but it was worth it. Ate here today for lunch and dinner after work as a substitute paraprofessional at P.S. 234 Q. I had brought seafood tacos both fish and shrimp, then for an appetizer I got a tuna steak and asked to cook it medium first to taste and then recook it again to make it medium well done and then a 7 layer chocolate cake for dessert. It definitely tasted great and delicious and the service was attentive when I greeted by Agnes of what to choose and eat. I couldn't agree more. I passed Psari for years and finally had an opportunity to try it. The interior was cute, even though we were the only people in the restaurant on a Tuesday evening. We ordered a bunch of apps to split. We had calamari, grape leaves, octopus, saganaki, keftedes, and baklava for the table. The calamari was cooked well, and there were plenty of tentacles! The grape leaves were most definitely canned and nothing to write home about. The saganaki was super yummy... fried cheese--it's hard to go wrong. The octopus was tender and seasoned well with EVOO, vinegar, and oregano. The keftedes were crispy on the outside and goopy inside, making them taste undercooked or raw. We finished the meal with baklava, which was cold and hard from the fridge and tasted like it was old. I am Greek and I always like to try new Greek places especially in Astoria. When I went to this place I was very disappointed to say the least. We got the octopus which was very pricey and it tasted very bad and the texture was not good. Slimey. Wasn't cooked good and it was mushy. We ate half. Prefer lemon Potato's which are my favorite and they were everything except that. The only part of the dips that was good was the tzatziki. The rest of the spreads were bad. Didn't have a good taste. I was upset bc this place looked good and to top it off they didn't even have Greek desserts. Only one that was really bad and was not advertised. The only reason I knew about it was because I asked if the owners were Greek because I haven't seen a Greek restaurant that didn't have Greek authentic desserts. They started us out with complimentary garlic bread, which was delicious. I like these way more than the garlic bread at Napoli (which is NOT free). We got the grilled octopus ($21) and the Greek combo ($38 - crab legs, lobster tail, scallops, stuffed shrimp and clams). In line with other reviews, the quality was very inconsistent, even within the same dish! The grilled octopus had pieces that were overcooked/chewy vs. tender pieces that were cooked as it should (maybe they came from multiple octopi?). Within the combo, we liked the crab legs the best. They were seasoned well and broiled such that it was almost fried-tasting, but not greasy-tasting. The lobster tail was a bit overcooked and the scallops were unmemorable. The stuffed shrimp and clams were both good, and reminded me of quahogs. We took advantage of a givemeastoria promo to get 20% off the bill. The scallops were fantastic and buttery and the flounder was good too. But, the salmon was dry and overcooked and the shrimp was tough too. Probably a result of cooking them all together for the same amount of time. I might not order it again, although I appreciated trying four types of seafood. This use to be one of my favorite places to eat in NYC. The quality of food and service has dropped to the bare minimum but the prices are ridiculously high. First the service on Easter Sunday was just terrible. Every time I go here I try to avoid two waitresses unfortunately for me and my family BOTH waitresses were the only two working and thats when i knew i should have walked out. We ordered. The apps were good. Greek salad & grilled octopus. The entree came out & my stuffed shrimp were completely raw. The stuffing on top was cooked & the actual shrimp were so raw thar the shrimp had not even turned pink. They took it back & cooked it more. When it came back out it was the same order so the shrimp stuffing came out charred / black / burnt & the shrimp were finally cooked. I did not eat it. They did nothing about it. Smh read more

Get lobster tails about once a month for close to a year now and they have never disappointed. Nice portion of the tails and it's always delicious. Usually get it to go and they wrap it with care and add delicious garlic bread, butter and lemon. Get it for the Mrs. who has a problem getting out but one day I'll get her there. So when you have no desire to cook and you receive that beautiful text.. "want to go out out to eat" heck yeah. Then followed up with it's a Greek spot the heavens opened and I heard Angels singing.
