Been here twice for lunch and after a terrible experience nearby I'd prob only come back here or Taverna Kyc. The lunch is so good when I'm starving after a stressful long morning. Pretty quiet yet amazing service and such filling meal. Both times it was so pleasant and a nice treat. The interior is all white and the server is so sweet and able to answer my questions about GF in the plates. I'm a loyal customer now after chking out the competition. Wins HANDS DOWN

Great food, great service, beautiful taverna-style furniture! Felt like i was in Greece! The bread was fresh, the tzatziki had just the right amount of garlic, the hummus was the best i've tasted... the fish was fresh and the Araka tasted like my grandmother's! The best was that the tomatoes in the salad were ripe and tasty like the old days!!! The servers were attentive and thorough. We had a large group and every person felt cared for.

My friend had eaten here many times and decided to invite us for dinner. Since dinner service were just starting we were quickly seated at a table by the windows. The place is large but had a cozy feel. Upon entry, you will see the fresh fish and meat you can order to grill. We decided to order the lemon chicken soup, small greek salad, spicy feta dip & grilled octopus. The waitress and waiters were attentive and filled our water when best empty. The food came quickly. As my friend remembered, the food were prepared well and entonces was tasty. I highly recommend the octopus, brazino, calamari, & anything grilled. The charcoal smoking on the fish & meat are outstanding. Definitely come back next time for the fish!

The vibe is very relaxed here. The food had a nice charred flavor. The Nana's green salad was light and refreshing. The service was excellent. Servings are big enough to share.

lol do not go. we went to astoria to go to Hamido but the line was so long so we found this place instead. the place was super busy too but the food was shockingly not satisfying lolol. i feel like i was eating a dialed meal and there was so seasoning or wow factor to any dish. we had to salt and pepper every dish and it literally felt like they just cooked everything for us so it wasn't raw. we also had to wait a long time to get our waters refilled. maybe we ordered the wrong stuff lol

Came here for a date night with the hubby and honestly, it hit the spot. We had a reservation and got seated right away - love when a place is on top of their stuff. The restaurant's pretty spacious too, so it works whether you're rolling in as a couple or with a whole crew. The decor is that classic white Santorini vibe with a bunch of sea-themed touches - super cute, gave me island vacation feels. Naturally, I took that as a sign to order fish. Our server was suuuper friendly and professional, which makes all the difference. They started us off with fresh warm bread (like actually warm and soft... not that sad cold roll some places give you). So good. We got the garlic and potato spread (Skordalia). - kind of obsessed with it now. Also shared a Greek salad, and then for mains we did the grilled chicken with fried potatoes and the Branzini. Chicken was fine, not mad at it, but like... nothing to call your mom about. But that fish? Whew. So good. Fresh, no weird fishy taste, and they deboned it table-side which was a nice lil fancy moment. I lowkey wanted to eat the whole thing by myself. We wrapped it up with baklava, which was solid. Everything from the vibes to the food to the service was on point. Definitely coming back. Might skip the chicken next time though and go all in on the seafood.

The atmosphere was cozy, welcoming, and relaxing. The service was attentive and friendly. We ordered two grilled fish, lamb, baklava, calamari, Greek salad, and Greek meatballs. Most of the food was really good. The only downsides were the meatballs, which were a bit tough, and the lamb, which didn't have as much flavor as I'm used to. Overall, it was a great dining experience.

    Lamb chops were a 10.

On a busy Memorial holiday, we were lucky to find a spot outside. Dinner was delicious. Must start with the Greek Salad, had another solid app and finished with the lamb chops and the octopus - both were cooked to perfection. Service is friendly and easy going and the meal was excellent. Can't wait to return, it's been years since we visited and glad we came back. The food is very fresh !!!

Love this place. Food is always fresh and top notch. The service is great! For drinks, I love the Drunken Telly. The grilled seafood platter for two is divine with fresh shrimp, flounder, and salmon.

I came here w/ my good friend who was Greek. We ordered the following to share: Greek salad - It was good w/ feta. My greek friend said it needed more salt. I actually like that it was not that salty. Branzini (deboned) - The branzini was good, but it was not the best I have had. It was not charred enough & not seasoned well. Lemon Potatoes - Superb! This item was very delicious! Spankorizo (rice w/ spinach) - Excellent! This item was also very delicious! Mythos beer - It was very refreshing & light tasting! Loved the complimentary bread they give - super soft & great w/ the olive oil. Staff was very friendly & attentive. Tons of seating & loved the decor.

Made reservations for my family here a week in advance for Greek Easter . We arrived on time and we're seated in the front "outdoor" section . Sure it's outdoors but it's enclosed with no air circulation whatsoever , it was so hot and sticky , no fans , no air nada . The table we were seated at was clearly a table for four and we were six people , we were so tight and uncomfortable, between the heat and no space it was a miserable experience and I couldn't wait to leave . I could barely get out of my seat without moving at least two people . Our waitress was super rude , you'd think she would've been a bit more pleasant being that it's a holiday . The food was decent at best . We ordered saganaki , lemon potatoes , a Greek salad , lamb , pork , octopus ,French fries . The lamb they served us was terrible , it was so fatty we barely touched it . The pork was pretty good . Octopus ,potatoes and salad were good . A nice touch was they served us Easter eggs and tsoureki on the house . Overall I would pass , I would not return here , I don't see what the hype is all about personally . I can't reason being so uncomfortable while dining out or a rude server .

The staffs were very low energies when we visited on a weekend night. The overall ambiance and interaction made us feel a little uncomfortable. We ordered: - eggplant dip - fries - Greek salad (large) - cooked fish - calamari - octopus Honestly I was so disappointed with the food. It didn't taste as fresh and was overall too salty. The eggplant dip had a weird taste. Friend fries were not as crispy and unevenly distributed portions of salt. The calamari was nothing special. The fish was okay, and the octopus was so salty we actually sent back the dish. It was very difficult to enjoy it. The staff was so accommodating and actually took the dish off our bill. (Thank you!! - great customer service!). My favorite item was probably the Greek salad, but then again it's hard to mess up a salad. The menu is entirely in Spanish but the waiters can help if needed. We ordered the Gobernador taco, a half dozen shrimp, the regular guacamole and the aguachiles verdes. The Gobernador was a large size - really more like a mini quesadilla than a taco in my mind. It was flavorful and filled with seafood. The half dozen shrimp were cooked well, but a little hard and messy to peel. The guac was good, a little oily but tasty. The aguachiles were really good but borderline too spicy for me. The spice continued to build as I ate them and it did feel less enjoyable but it was good to start. My main grievance with this restaurant was how loud it was. I was yelling and struggling to hear what my friend or the waiter said, but the food was delicious. Maybe if it were less crowded it would be ok, but definitely not a great atmosphere for having a conversation.

My group ended up grabbing calamari, octopus tentacles, scallops, and a whole fish. We also ordered some baba ghanoush and eggplant with tomato on the side. The scallops and octopus, both of which we ordered grilled, came out first and were excellent! The scallops were soft and buttery with great texture and flavor. The octopus was the star of the show with an excellent bite and texture and great flavor from the olive oil and garlic coating it. Our order of fried calamari was also super tasty. It seems like they sprinked a special spice blend over it to give it some extra kick. Our last fish course was a whole fish served Egyptian style with blackened seasoning. The skin of the fish was amazing. It had a citrusy/salty flavor that was followed by the freshness of the herbs stuffed inside the fish.
