We didn't see a "full breach" where they jump out of the water, but we saw tons of surfacing to air, some hand stands and whale tails. Super cool! The ship itself was very clean and there was lots of space to move around and see the whales. We sat on the second deck and could go to side to side to see them. The restaurant space at this property is stunning inside and out, and the views of the harbor are always breathtaking. We were seated by a smiling and friendly hostess. We started off with a Negroni mocktail and a Cosmopolitan. Both cocktails were expertly prepared and delicious. Our first shared course was oysters en brochette. These were Wellfleet oysters wrapped in bacon that appeared to be battered and fried. They were decadent, very delicious, and served with a Creole mustard sauce. For our entrées, we chose from the à la carte menu, which included grilled salmon with a citrus beurre blanc sauce and a grilled lobster tail from a 2-pound lobster served with drawn butter. The side dishes we chose were roasted potatoes, asparagus, and mascarpone grits. While eating, we both continually commented on how perfectly everything was cooked and how delicious everything tasted. It was amazing. The only miss here was the mascarpone grits. They had no flavor, and the expected creaminess from the mascarpone was lost on us. We asked our server for some salt and pepper and added it to the grits, which greatly improved the flavor profile. Our desserts looked and tasted just as amazing as the rest of our meal. The crème brûlée was delicious, and the flourless chocolate torte with raspberry sauce was amazing. I included photos, but we devoured the chocolate torte so quickly that all I can show is an empty plate. The service was a bit disappointing. It was slow and inattentive, which surprised us because the restaurant was not busy, there were a lot of staff, and there were many empty tables around us. The interaction with our server was very friendly, however, and she seemed very nice. Every time I dine at the Red Inn, I wonder why I don't spend more time there. The Point itself is a beautiful sandy beach perfect for a picnic and a swim. Info bit: The boat has a 4 ft retractable keel or centerboard ballast for anyone concerned about tipping over (which helped put the 18-yr old at ease.) I have never fished before in my life. Not that it makes me any less of a man, (I mean, I've…read morechopped down trees with my bare hands, I eat steak on the regular, I've punched things and I drink Jack Daniels), however, I felt like my life was missing something. I'm a hunter-gatherer, and I haven't hunted or gathered anything outside of a grocery store. Enter Schooney Charter Fishing. This guy was amazing on a number of levels. I went with two of my siblings and my brother brought along his two sons, ages 9 and 5. First off, they make this as effortless as possible, bating your hooks and casting for you. If you get curious, ask and they showed you how. The captain and his sidekick were extremely patient with my nephews, answering their never-ending supply of questions. They moved from spot to spot, always keeping in contact with other boats to find out where you would have the most success. We fished mainly for Sea Bass, and the occasional Blue Fish. However, they also offer small tuna fishing, shark fishing and cod fishing earlier in the season. Also, on your way back into the harbor, he'll stop by his lobster traps, and whatever is in there, you can have as well. Nice little added bonus. The pricing isn't all that bad, ranging in between $400 and $600 depending on how long you stay out, or if you go tuna fishing, as that's a longer trip out to sea. But if you have a decent day, you can basically make it back in fish. After your day is done, they will clean and fillet your fish for you. Grab a cooler, because you are not going to want to let any of your catch spoil. I've been scarfing down Sea Bass for the past three days like it was my job. Which is good, because since I've discovered "Yelp" I've been paying a lot less attention to my real job. Added Bonus: We had a whale pop up about 10 feet away from the boat....free whale watching....suck it tourists paying $29 for the Provincetown whale watch....

Crisp clean sheets,fluffed pillows, new air conditioning unit and updated tv system! Plus is located commercial Boulevard.... a quick walk and we arrive to our favorite coffee shop! The Inn has a very peaceful setting and guaranteed a good night's sleep. It's our go to place when we visit Provincetown.
