I stopped by this bar "just for one drink" and somehow left three hours later with a new best friend and a strong suspicion the bartenders missed their true calling as therapists. From the second I walked in, the bartenders greeted me like I was a regular--even though I have the lost, confused face of someone who still asks what IPAs stand for. They didn't judge. They didn't sigh. They gently guided me through the beer list like patient kindergarten teachers, but with better hair and more tattoos. Drinks? Fantastic. I asked for "something not too sweet but also not too strong but also fun." That's not a drink order--that's a personality crisis. Somehow they nailed it. It showed up perfectly balanced, beautifully garnished, and strong enough that I briefly considered texting my ex but not strong enough that I actually did. That's responsible bartending. They checked in just the right amount--attentive without hovering. At one point, one of them noticed my glass was empty from across the bar. I don't know if it was skill, intuition, or some kind of bartender sixth sense that activates when a tip is in danger--but I respect it. The vibe? Immaculate. Good music, good crowd, zero weird energy. Even when someone dropped a glass, the bartender handled it like a NASCAR pit crew--swoop, sweep, replace, back to pouring in 10 seconds flat. Overall: 10/10. Came for a drink, stayed for the hospitality, left with slightly lighter pockets and significantly better mood. If you want strong drinks, friendly faces, and bartenders who hype you up like you're the main character in a movie, this is your spot. Very average bar with mediocre food. It's a PT's so don't expect much. Clientele is ghetto. Bathrooms aren't very clean. This is the place I go to when I just want to drink and want to be able to walk home. I will say, the old pictures of Vegas on the walls are cool. read more

We went a few years ago and the service and food were awful. We drove by recently and thought it's close to home, things have had to changed - let's give it another try. We walked in and were never acknowledged. No, hi, as we walked in, no anything. We went to the restaurant part, sat down in the bartenders view and including us 3 tables with people. We looked at the menu, waited 15 minutes and not once did anyone say anything to us or come over to us, so we got up and left. We ended up at Winchell's. We walked in and were greeted right away. I kept looking at my watch - within 1 minute of sitting down our drink order was taken, within 3 minutes our drinks were delivered and within 5 our food order was taken - now THAT'S service. Review is for the consistently delicious tenders and boneless wings I get on different ordering platforms! First, let's get it right. Tenders are like chicken fingers long and kind of flat. Boneless wings are like tender bites, short and boneless. Comparable to ribs and riblets ... see she not crazy ;) They're soo good! The spice levels are accurately described. Buffalo hot is flavorful and true to its name! The xxxtra hot is another favorite for the nights when I want heat! We get in there and the ac is not on so I ask to speak to the manager he tells me to come over there because hes busy mind you it's not busy as all in there so me and my friend are asking what's going on why the air isn't on its stuffy and super hot. This is my first trip to a PTs and it's been pretty good to me. I came to happy hour which is 5-7PM daily. I had a few drinks for such a good price, they're half off! Pizza is also half off & some select foods range from $6,7,8. I ordered some wings and potato skins and they were honestly bomb, literally so good. I had two beers and a mix drink and the price was still lower than expected. This is the closest PTs to me so I'll be back. The service was very good. My downsides are they ran out of the beer I wanted to order and they waited to tell me after I ordered a food that they were out of a topping I wanted. The downs do not nearly effect my review as I will clearly be back. The downs in my review were probably very situational. read more

I wouldn't recommend this location. I've ordered for pick up twice and both times they have gotten my order wrong. The pick up service is always slow as well. Both times I've had to wait for someone to finally come up to the pick up counter. Not very attentive even when they're not busy. read more

Returning to this location on Anne Road and Revere after a long absence, I wanted to see if the customer service improved. After all, that's what customers grade service on. To no avail, nothing has changed. Bar service is still slow. Bartenders will walk past you and not even notice your current drink disposition unless you're a local. It's quite obvious that the bartenders still cater to the locals as a priority. It shouldn't matter who you are! Customers are business and greeting customers when entering the front of house establishment should be priority. Not here! Customer greeting acknowledgement is virtually non existent here. Your lucky to be noticed. Even when there's hardly anybody in the bar. Good establishments cater to your every need for service. I prefer a bartender who anticipates my drink to be refilled as it's running low. Maybe this is the "Norm" at this location. Still, the business model of Customer Service doesn't justify its incompetencies. If you want "Customer Service", move on. This isn't the location that delivers that. At least if you're not a local. I've been here many times but it has been a while. This visit was a "mixed bag" as far as experience goes. First, I gambled with a $100 and ended up walking out after two hours with....wait for it.... a $100 dollars. That's a WIN in my book! I ordered a drilled steak chop salad, and it was good HOWEVER they ran out of avocados so apparently the chef, waitress and bartender decided not to say anything, hoping I would not notice. I did. First, I mentioned it to the waitress, who acted like she didn't know and she'd ask the chef. She came back and said, "yes we had just run out." And that's all she said. Then the bartender asked me after I finished the salad, "How was everything?" "Well everything was good except there were no avocados in the salad." His response was was puzzling because he said they've been out all day. not what they chef said. Other than that, my salad was really good. My Dr Pepper was typical of course and the fact I didn't lose any money was cool too. However, they didn't offer any, and I mean ANY discount on the salad for not having avocados on it, nor any sort of communication prior to preparing it. Their " see if he notices" attitude destroys any trust you establish with a customer who notices. So I paid full price for a salad, and 20% tip, despite being stiffed on the second most costly item on the salad. Some people are just oblivious to great customer service...... Ambiance: Basic neighborhood bar. I will say the restaurant portion though is slightly nicer than most. Sat in the bar area though since it was quite slow. Food: Pizza was on happy hour so split one of those. Was thin crust with a sweet sauce that tasted okay. Also split an order of sweet potato fries. They were also okay, but did not have much of a sweet potato taste. Service: There were two female bartenders. Our server/bartender was nice. I think anytime you don't sit at the bar you risk slower service. This was not the case really. Price: On happy hour pizza is 50% off which is great. Not sure I would want to pay full price. Don't come here - food is great and the servers are awesome, but when you don't win at all when you put $300 in the Buffalo machine and have lost $700 in a night - that's a rough go. They don't have comps here - so the folks here who work are unable to make any of this up even though they want to.
