First off, I would just like to say that I typically hold a lot of these types of places (Applebee's, TGIF's, Outback, etc.) with relatively low to mid expectation, most especially, with service. Not sure why but it seems to always be the norm, in my opinion. My wife and I came here for dinner last night and I was really impressed. We came in and was immediately greeted and seated. Not a minute later, a server (my apologies for not remembering his name) was asking for drinks which was also relatively swift along with fresh chips and salsa. Then, was asked if ready to order which I had barely enough time to figure out but it was fine. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger 3 for me meal with side salad and drink. The wife had the ribeye and shrimp. Overall, I thought the food was decent! My wife enjoyed her steak and I thought the burger was certainly worth the price. Sure, the fries were a little dry tasting, the ranch was a little soupy, and the salsa wasn't the best. Best part of this review was their service. They were very nice, attentive, and responsive. Most importantly, as a whole during our time there, I saw all of them working together as a team and backing each other up....I don't see a lot of that anymore. So, kudos to them! We entered and the hostess at the front smiled and was extremely polite. She sat us at the table and wished us a great meal. We were approached by Cory who had a bad attitude the moment he walked up to the table! My husband and I ordered water and my mom asked if she could have hot tea! With an attitude, he just starred at her shaking his head and had an ugly facial expression. It was rude and so I made a joke to try and lighten the mood. I haven't been to Chilis in a long time and now I'm sad I haven't. This location was great. From the food to the service. We went out to celebrate my daughter's birthday. So, today, I finally gave in and tried them. Nashville Hot Mozz: We got a small order which has 3 mozzarella bricks the size of fast food apple pie. By looking at them, they seemed promising. Golden brown breaded and fried cheese doused in Nashville hot sauce which is similar to Buffalo sauce. It comes with a cup of ranch for dipping. The hot melted cheese has a nice pull to it. And the good things end there. They're good to look at but not great to put in your mouth. Extremely salty and you can't taste anything else. For the 3-piece portion, it's a whopping 1900 calories so, if you eat one, it's 633 calories which equivalent to one whole meal that doesn't fill you up! I ate half a piece and got an entree with more substance. 1/5 Guiltless Sirloin: You can either get 6oz or 10oz and it comes with asparagus. The steak is drizzled with cilantro pesto and comes with pico. I ordered no pico. The asparagus was also super salty. You can see the salt caked on to the asparagus! The steak was good. 2/5 The service was the best part. Our server was Kathy and she was very energetic and friendly. We didn't have to wait long for our food to come and drinks to be refilled. My family and I are regulars at this location and we love the convenience of being able to drive less than 10 minutes to a Chili's. Sundays is a special day for our family cause it's the only day we are all available to sit down and enjoy a meal together and just be able to fellowship since we all have busy schedules M-F. How it started... my daughter wanted to show her appreciation for Mother's Day by taking us to dinner. Pulled into the parking lot and found a spot right away! Restaurant row in North Las Vegas got ourselves a Chilis. While I was excited to see another business in the area, the experience wasn't up to par with the other restaurants in the area. It was a weekend night so it was pretty busy and service was slow and our server seemed to have a lot of tables in the bar area but he was very friendly. The one thing that was good is I think they gave me a bigger than normal portion of the shrimp when I ordered the shrimp fajitas. Food was decent and price was good for the food. I went here on 1/30/25 for lunch with some friends that I used to work with before I retired. I ordered the Ancho Salmon and was frankly astonished with how good it was. Perfectly done with a great pesto sauce. The accompanying rice and broccoli were also perfect. I've paid far more for a much less enjoyable meal. I will be back just for this dish. No thanks Victor because other Chili locations throughout the country will gladly make the substitution with no problem. We showed up just in time for the $10 lunch special. It included a few options but for my meal I chose the Double Cheeseburger with fries and a side Caesar salad. Our food took a lil bit to come out. The food & service is much better than the Decatur location! I will start there. Almost everyone was friendly, and everyone was working! It was somewhat busy! Our server Antoine (or Antwan?
