Me and Friends visit one Saturday Night when they have a Dj playing that night. It was great until they stopped at around 11:30pm just when the crowd started dancing and having fun. On weekends, they should extend their hours until at least 2am. This is Vegas, people here party late. And it's inside a casino. They should also add Karaoke Nights here. Nice and Very Hip Lounge with lots of Stylish Low Couches and Cocktail Tables...After a great dinner at TGIF we needed to digest and visit more. This place was Cool & Quiet...Until we got there haha, Ordered some cocktails and started to Chill; then this cute little hostess comes over and asks "You Wanna Hookah" ? Everyone kind of slumped back, What this extremely Cool, Colorfully decorated Lounge has full Hookah service! Everyone said Nah until she locked eyes with me and my response was "Absolutely", never have ~ soo tonight was the night to knock off a bucket list item ;))) SHE brought the impressive Hookah pipe, Multicolored safety tips, and then assisted in lighting this monster...A little pricy but the flavor was fantastic and lasted between two of us for over 20 minutes. Kind of like an oxygen bar it was Smooth, Tasted super Sweet, and left you a little light headed. Night out with a twist and a great way to curb your drinking too much. Had a horrible experience yesterday weny in to watch a football game,my friend and I were sitting at the bar(it was a full bar, the bartender came to us stating since we weren't playing poker game at the bar, we had to move,( not many were playing,people were watching football games) he said people that wanted to play requested to sit there. The ambiance is hipster with couches for the romantics and large TVs for the sports fanatics. The cheering of the game, however, negated any romantic feel. The lounge would be a nice place to hang after work with friends or a good place to go watch the game. My grasshopper was terrific with just the right combination of cream and creme de menthe and my husband's well drink was standard. I was not impressed with the service. We were there on a weekday and they seemed terribly understaffed. We had to approach the bar for our drinks after waiting at the couches for over 10 minutes. The cocktail waitresses were not terribly friendly, but, to their credit, they seemed to be constantly gathering and delivering drinks. The drinks, though, didn't seem to be going to anyone in the bar. I felt the bar was more focussed on serving those at slot machines outside than patrons inside. read more

I had a good time here. The atmosphere was fun and the music choice was great. However, we got a hookah ($30) not bad for a hookah. The server didn't even smile or acknowledge us. I had to go up to her and let her know we were interested in a hookah. read more

This is a neat looking bar. Lots of interesting seating areas for different sized groups plus seating at the bar. Lots of TVs showing the games. It looks like a great place to meet people before dinner. We first came in and found a spot to sit. After waiting for about 5 minutes for someone to take our order, we moved to another place within visual range of the bartenders. I'm not sure if it was the timing or if they were short staffed, but nobody ever came over to take our drink order. We had to go up to the bar and ask. It seemed like the staff was busy making drinks for the patrons playing out in the casino or at the bar, so they didn't have time to deal with paying customers. I'll probably try it again to see if service is better at a different time. read more

Husband and I, sore throats and coming off of having fevers, took a last minute impromptu date. The original plan was to watch Deadpool. Until we stood in line and the husband mistaken the 855 showing for the imax experience. No imax for me. I'll puke, and so will.the ticket price induce more vomit. Since this review isn't about movies nor the theatre...let me get going. We opted to chill in the lounge for a couple of drinks. How perfect since the bar was full all around except for some seats that weren't smacked inbetween people. The no children gods were looking out for us. There are couch seatings along the inside, but I always thought it was reserved for those doing bottle service, etc. No bottle service here. Just pour me a glass of something. We weren't immediately greeted nor helped as all the bartenders were handling business on the other side. When a couple of them finally turned around, I made contact with the waitress. She soon approached without dismay, took our orders, asked if we wanted to start a tab, and off she went to do some mixology. UNR vs UNLV was on. Twas an exciting game towards the end, considering we obly caught the end of the game. Music was playing which had me singing along to, plus, there werent any obnoxious drunk(s) inside...winner. Good looking out no children gods. It was very clean and the decoration is very modern. I know on some nights the waitresses start dancing, and there's a dj. We probably were a little early in the night to even catch it, but I didn't care. Being couped up from being sick...I preferred the no dj vibe. Just wanted to sit and chill with my man over some drinks. Don't get it twisted though, had there been a dj...my mother-in-law would've of whooped us for dancing our cold away because we only had movie duration alottment. Lol. Husband just had Malibu and pineapples, while I opted for a top shelf margarita on the rocks. Both came out to 17bucks. It's pretty averaged price to me considering you are in a casino. Other casinos do charge way more so I wasn't in for a surprise. Fortunately, are drinks were potent. Lol. Twasnt overly "diluted". The patron to my margarita definitely kept the chest warm. I typically ask for a top shelf margarita or patron because the other types of tequilas make me puke. Nothing like cheap tequilas sliding down your throat with your full knowledge. 3 starts for just being average. The ETA lounge did its job for me. Nothing extra special or unique. Good neighborhood spot to kick it, have a few drinks, and socialize. In which I will recommend because of the above mentioned. We have been going to Aliante Casino for almost eight years now. And I am not sure how we have not trying this lounge/bar. I LOVED it! Comfortable wide areas to lounge with nice modern elegant sofas, excellent choice of music with perfect volume, large tv sets with sports channels, delicious choice of drinks priced very very reasonably. And the best part? They have Hookahs!!!! They are located inside the casino, across from the golf course. So, it's a great place to meet friends before tee time, or gambling, or dinner, or just to take a break, or just to lounge for a while. The bar tenders were all super friendly and kind! Can't wait to go back. November is around the corner, right? read more

This used to be my go to spot to chill and unwind since it's close to home and now it's just dead...I wonder why Alliante decided to change the venue. The casino is very blah! I would rather drive to Red Rock than come here...their drinks are over priced and quite honestly I don't think they know who their customer is. This place has many pros and cons. The DJ is good; mixes great selection of songs with good bass. Sofas are comfortable. Hookahs are offered. They had girls dancing on the stage which kept the night entertaining. On the flip side, the drinks were terrible and the bartenders were inattentive. I stood at the bar watching the 2 bartenders (keep in mind there were only 3 other people sitting at the bar) talk to each other, look at me, talk to each other some more, look at me, and then finally come over and ask me what I needed. HOW ABOUT A DAMN DRINK?! ***Note: The Long Island that we ordered was horrible: mixed very poorly, tasted like tequila on ice, no hint of coke sweetness, no smoothness of a tea. This place is inside the Aliante Casino. It looks brand new and has a nice vibe and atmosphere. It's a cool place to hang out to play some video poker/blackjack and have some comped drinks at the same time. Bartender service is good in a sense that they make sure your good with your drinks, but not as friendly or talkative most of the times I've been there. Take note this was during the afternoon on a weekday where there was probably on 3-5 people only at the bar. Either way, I make sure to tip them well. On weekends, its a bit more livelier and people fill the surrounding couches and smoke hookah which is cool. i might go try that in the future. There is also a single go go dancer dancing on a tiny stage. I know this isn't your neighborhood bar where everybody knows your name, but I suppose its better than nothing around this area. If you want to kill time and get comped drinks while playing video poker, this is your place. read more

Well... that didn't last long... It's now the end of December and there's no DJ. Hookah girl seemed inexperienced with the hookah being hit or miss. There was a party going on in the circular private area and the music was awful and competed with the music in the bar area. You could literally hear both music choices going at the same time which was super weird. After some sleuthing I found out the private party had requested current music mixed with r&b, Motown, Michael Jackson, anything danceable and instead were forced to listen to a playlist with a really weird mix of early 90s grunge and other weird older songs that actually made people want to leave the area. The group was told that the music was on a loop in a locked room that no one could access (what?). I'd give no stars except the bartenders were friendly and made good drinks. But I'm not a gambler so I need good music and a chance to dance or move around so I don't fall asleep... I just don't understand what's going on here but I give up on ETA- it's not rocket science to successfully run a bar, is it? I don't recommend ETA unless you are a gambler who wants to sit at a bar in an empty club and play video poker. read more

As a regular in the ETA Lounge I'm probably biased but I've always loved the decor and the staff. On the weekend they have a DJ and a couple go-go dancers. Sometimes it's a little slow but it's always a great place to just have a drink and sit with friends. The gambling ain't terrible. Too bad there isn't food served at the bar but they allow you to bring some in from the food court if you want. They make some great drinks overall. Some may experience a touchy staff person or two and I have first-hand witnessed it. Generally speaking if you run into someone in service that's annoyed then don't tip and move on. Unfortunately sometimes people like to exchange words and that works two ways. But if you get a chance to check out the Lounge I recommend it. read more

I'm giving this place only one star and it hurts me to do so. I moved to the area about 6 months ago. I was excited that there was a "nice" and "classy" place down the street. I went to eta for the first time last week on a Thursday and Lingo was behind the bar. Lingo was awesome, friendly and very attentive. I played the machines and just drank club soda with a lime which Lingo ensured my drink was never empty. Lingo informed me that they were having a party on Valentines night and encouraged me to check it out. On valentines day, My husband and I were at the sports bar having some drinks and the bartenders there were great and friendly, we ended up going back into eta for their party. I wanted my husband to experience the great service I have had the night prior.. That was until Amanda served us. We ordered 2 beers and Amanda told us the total, didn't even greet us, my husband made a comment about the beers being slightly higher than the race and sports bar, but I told my husband it was because eta offered entertainment. We paid for our beers without incident until Amanda stated to my husband "if you can't afford the drinks, go back to race and sports". I was shocked at this comment because my husband is a physician and money is not an issue for us. I told Amanda we weren't complaining and my husband was just confused. She continued to look at the gentleman next to us and say "I hate dealing with broke white trash". I told her she had no right to make those comments about us and that we paid without complaining and there was no reason for her to attack us. She proceeded to tell my husband and I that this would be our last beer there and told us to go to a bar that we could "afford". Needless to say, its unfortunate that 1 bad seed will ruin the great service that we received from Lingo. Judging by the other reviews, it looks like Amanda is an ongoing problem. I had requested to speak with a manager and waited almost a half hour with no manager to be seen. I encourage anyone who hasn't been there yet not to go there when Amanda is working. I have never been so disrespected by a bar tender before. Hopefully this casino will see this ongoing problem and handle it. It's very unfortunate to have such a great place close to home that we now will not go back to as long as this disrespectful young lady is there. And hopefully their management could learn a thing or 2 about being efficient and handling a customer complaint without waiting 30 min and still no manager. read more

Use to be our favorite lounge in North Las Vegas to hang out with a verity of music. Now it's nothing more then a copy of Revolver minus the good atmosphere. Aliante needs to can the Cowboy Troy want to be DJ and bring back the more balanced musical blend that it use to be. I can now see why they loose so much money and why Station Cosino's bailed on them. It seems like the executives have no idea how to attract a younger crowd. read more

Each time we have gone to this lounge, the drinks have been awesome (long island ice tea, mojito, and some stiff jack on the rocks). Lingo even came back on several occasions to make sure that our drinks were satisfactory. The dancers are entertaining, after much debate my girlfriend and I agree that the Asian girl is the best dancer. The fun part for us is the people watching... never fails to bring the laughs. read more

The lounge itself is beautiful with comfortable seating everywhere! First off I been to this casino for five year. We love the sports bar and Eta the music great but we had nothing but problems with Amada she mean and bitchy. she make us feel terrible every time we go. We start looking in the bar to see if she there. We skip it now because she there. she will serve other people first and even ignores us on several occasions. We complained she still there ruin our night. its really sad. We just go somewhere else The sad thing is she means to other customer all the time. Please fire this sad mean person. My boyfriend and I had been sitting at the bar watching the Cal vs. Stanford game. The early bartender that was attending the guests at the ETA Lounge and was very accomodating and respectful as usual, great customer service, she explained that she prices for beers are $2 during the game and went out of her way to make sure we were good. But Amanda comes during shift change. After waiting a few minutes for her to make her rounds she gets to us and asks for our drinks, I go to the bathroom then she explains to my boyfriend while im gone that the price changed because its her shift, he then explained to her that he was told it was $2 while the games are playing. She then just walked away without saying anything. I get back and we are watching the game. We try to get her attention to order drinks she ignores us twice. We do get our drinks and were hanging out a bit then her family comes in, there is 5 of them. There is I think 9 seats on the side of the bar we are seated on. There's 2 seats on the left of us. Her family wants to sit on the right of us but since they wants to all game and 1 of the machines arent working Amanda asks us to move over. In Vegas if someone is gambling, we have no problem moving down. But I look and ask the older lady that is with them if they have enough room and she said yes. So we proceed to sit back down. Amanda not only said "No, you guys need to move" but she then asks us to move so far down that we couldn't sit down anymore....for her family!!! After a couple words were exchanged my boyfriend was so offended he asked to have his bill closed out. She then asked him sarcastically "Do you need some water? And to not raise his voice" he never once raised his voice and is not one to raise his voice anyways, he was respectful the whole time. On the way out her family was being disrespectful to us as well. She has no business being in customer service let alone a bartender. Ive read so many horrible reviews on her. I work in customer service I would never even think about acting like that to anyone at my place of employment. We spoke with the food and beverage manager and we explained what happened and she said she would take care of it. We sat down at the sports book and the bartender there says they get so many complains about her. I am not one to wish this on anyone but she needs to be fired and find a job where she doesnt deal with the public. read more
