    Solo taco mission

Pretty cool litte bar with some decent music playing. The decorations here provide a bit of class and definitely add to the experience. The street tacos have no business being $6. The shredded chicken tacos were delicious and decent size. I wasnt mad at the price for these. As for the service, the staff was friendly and the beer was cold.

The Cantina is a 24/7 Bar, Gaming, and Restaurant located in the Centennial Area. The Restaurant offers a limited Mexican Menu and Smash Burgers. They do not use seed oils or use microwaves. I was told the only oil they use is beef tallow. Inside is kinda dark and decorated with day of the dead Mexican Pictures and other things like sombreros. But country music fills the air. Margaritas are decent. They started us off with complimentary chips and two very good salsas. My husband started off by trying a carnitas taco. He said that it was very good. We shared a chicken and steak fajita. WOW! everything about it was very good! The chicken was tender, moist, and developed with flavor. The steak had a nice delicious char and was very flavorful and very tender. I must give 5 stars because it was the best steak I ever had for fajitas anywhere. Guacamole was also better than from most places. The only thing is that the tortillas are not hand made but were very fresh so that's ok. Our server was attentive and helpful. She also informed us about all kinds of specials they offer here. 50% off to locals on Mondays and lots of other specials. It's great that we've found this place for the best fajitas in town.

The Cantina is a new restaurant that offers Mexican inspired food located in the Northwest Centennial Hills area. The spot is designed for adults and is more of a a full bar and entertainment space. The interior has a large bar area, big screen TVs for sports, and slot style gaming machines. It's also open 24/7! On the menu, it has a wide variety of options such as the following Street Style Tacos: Carne Asada, Al Pastor, Pulled Chicken, Carnitas, and more) Smash Burgers Fajitas and more If you're looking for drinks, the Cantina has options like signature margaritas, shot specials, late night happy hour, and more! There are a variety of promotions and pricing that the Cantina is currently running. On Mondays: 50% off your bill is you're a local Tacos & Tequila Tuesdays with $4.00 street tacos and $6.00 on certain tequila Taco & Beer Wednesdays: $2 draft beer with $4 street tacos There are a variety of happy hour and late night specials too! The complimentary chips included two different salsas - a green and red sauce. Both were spicy, but good! I ended up ordering 3 different street tacos. [1] Chicken: This was good. Loaded with cheese and Pico. The chicken was tender and juicy. [1] Carne Asada: This was my favorite. I did put the large avocado on the side. I usually like guacamole or the avocado sliced up. The Carne Asada was super flavorful. [1] Al Pastor: There was a lot of the sauce below the meat on the flour tortilla. It was difficult to eat the street taco. The pineapple was yummy with the Al Pastor meat though! My husband enjoyed the Fajitas and had plenty of left overs for the next day! The service was fantastic here and the food was delicious! I think next time we stop by on a Monday, instead of a Thursday afternoon, I'll be trying out a smash burger!

We visited on Thursday for lunch, with a party of two, and it was a nice experience. We arrived and were told to seat ourselves. There is a bar as well as several seating options, it is quite dark. The waitress stopped by and took our drink order, their margaritas are strong and tasty. We started with Chicken Taquitos. They were very fresh and well prepared. From there we went with Steak and Shrimp Enchiladas. The shrimp enchiladas were extremely spicy, I like that, but it would have destroyed anyone who can not take the heat. The service was excellent, the waitress was friendly, prompt, and professional. Overall, a nice place to grab a bite and a drink.

I have been a long time fan of El Dorado Cantina's restaurants (years and years!), but this new location has quickly become my favorite. First, NW Vegas is starving for some new places and the Cantina being 24/7 is such a plus. Inside: The decor is modern with the El Dorado touch. There's low tables, few half booths, a high tops and a bar. There's plenty of tv's around so it's going to be a go-to for sports watching. Service: Everyone here is so friendly and welcoming. This is really a great neighborhood vibe. Chef Marques often comes out to talk with the customers and to make sure all is good. This means a lot - they care about the quality of food and they really show their appreciation for visiting them. The food: Delicious! Their Al Pastor and Carnitas tacos are amongst my favorites. You can get them a la carte. The tacos are filled with plenty of meat so with only a couple of them, you can get pretty full. Not to mention, if you get chips and salsa as well, you'll be stuffed. I also tried their Chicken Enchiladas and it was so good. The pulled chicken is super tender, the green sauce has a nice kick to it on the spice level. The dish comes with rice and beans. They run a special everyday of the week including all day Happy Hour on Saturday.

    $16 pozoles

Ordered delivery, one green pozole, one red pozole, and 2 chips and salsa. There was no salsa and the soup containers were both filled only about a third. The pozole were each priced at $16. Also limes were brown and radishes had mold.

Made a trip to The Cantina today and it did not disappoint! The service was top notch with smooth vibes all around. Even the guests were pleasant. The food was incredible! I had the Carne Asada sliders with fries very flavorful and it hit the spot.

The setting , the not having toilet paper, and the decor at the entrance.

When we walked in, we were expecting The Cantina authentic Mexican experience. Upon entering it looked nice, sitting down I notice many things which did not match the decor style. It was still cute though. Bartender / waitress / ( I think she was also the cook, not sure ) was there alone , bartending and waiting on tables. She made sure to let us know that she was a one woman show today, so could we please help her by grabbing our waters from bar. Not a problem! It's not her fault management failed her. She got it done. I wasn't sure about ordering the Mexican dishes, after seeing that it was a bit confusing in regards to having an authentic Mexican food experience. We started with the chips and salsa and a side of guacamole. It was delicious The chips had a taste that reminded me of my time in Mexico , with my grandma as a little girl ( happy times, nostalgic ) The burger w/ fries plate , well that's another story. The burger was so dry, I drowned it with ketchup and salsa. I don't ever add ketchup to my burger. The fry's were crispy and a bit burnt. Very disappointed, because I love my food. They are a little expensive for what they served. We ate it anyway and I did bring my leftovers home to pick at. We were going to get drinks but decided we didn't want to have to make our own. Both bathroom stalls had run out of toilet paper. Luckily the seat covers were stocked , because that's what I had to wipe with. Hopefully the owners will step up their game , because that was not it. It looks like it would end up closing if this is the norm. Hopefully it was just a bad weekend. If the food and service is good I never question the prices. If you are having a bad day , you should never relay that to your customers , and to think we should know or need to help is crazy. Anyways we didn't want to make her job harder than it needed to be . We went to relax enjoy food and eat. Will not be going back. The potential is there, they just need to find it.

Kid friendly? And one question about the pozole. We like the red but with chicken instead of pork. Would they be able to accommodate that?

It is a bar, I believe it is 21 and older.

Are all the fried foods cooked in Tallow? Does this include the Taquitos?

    My understanding is yes

Do you have any gluten-free items?

(Which I totally understand) I gladly moved over, and once I was sitting on the spot and started to drink my beer I was asked to move AGAIN over one more spot, and I looked at the spot and noticed that it was just one chair in between two gaming machines with absolutely no space or room for comfort, I thought to myself she's got to be kidding, right she doesn't expect me to sit at the corner of this bar in between two machines with no space to even lean over on the bar cause you got the the corner jamming you right in the gut. I decided to walk out and leave. There were a total of 2 people sitting at the bar with almost every seat wide open. But she needed me to sit in a random spot between 2 chairs, and yeah, maybe I wasn't gaming at that moment, but I had a couple hundred dollars in my pocket that I possibly could've put in a machine if I really felt like it. Vibe: Sophisticated, Professional, and Energetic…read more For anyone looking to impress a client, close a deal, or celebrate a milestone with colleagues, finding the right venue for a business lunch can be a delicate balancing act. You need an environment that is sophisticated but not stuffy, lively but quiet enough for serious conversation, and supported by a culinary program that commands respect. The George Sportsmanship Lounge delivers on all of these fronts with remarkable grace, redefining what a modern business lunch can--and should--be. The Atmosphere: Polished Athletic Heritage Meets Executive Comfort Walking into George, you are immediately struck by how masterfully the design bridges the gap between a high-end club and a refined, modern lounge. The decor pays a tasteful, artistic homage to the spirit of "sportsmanship"--think rich leather banquettes, beautifully curated vintage sporting photography, warm walnut accents, and low, ambient lighting that feels incredibly exclusive. For a business lunch, the layout is exceptionally well-thought-out. The seating is spaced generously to offer genuine privacy for confidential conversations, and the acoustics are engineered beautifully; there is a vibrant hum of energy in the room, yet you never have to raise your voice to be heard across the table. It strikes the perfect balance of prestige and approachable comfort. The Food: A Masterclass in Contemporary American Cuisine While the ambiance sets the stage, the culinary execution is the true star of the show. The menu at George elevated our business lunch from a standard meeting into a memorable dining experience. We started with the Yellowtail Crudo, which was exceptionally fresh, accented with a vibrant citrus-yuzu vinaigrette and thinly sliced serrano peppers--a light, refreshing starter that perfectly primed the palate. For the mains, our table ordered the Dry-Aged Ribeye Frites and the Pan-Seared Chilean Sea Bass: The Ribeye: Cooked to a flawless medium-rare, the steak boasted an incredible crust and a rich, deeply savory flavor profile. Accompanied by truffle-infused hand-cut frites and a velvety chimichurri, it was a decadent but perfectly portioned lunch masterpiece. The Sea Bass: This dish was a revelation. Flaky, buttery, and resting on a bed of ginger-infused heirloom grains and baby bok choy, it was light enough for a midday meal while remaining deeply satisfying and complex in flavor. Even the non-alcoholic beverage program deserved applause; their mocktails, particularly the cucumber-basil press, were sophisticated and felt just as celebratory as a traditional cocktail. The Service: Impeccable, Swift, and Discreet Great food can easily be overshadowed by poor service, but at George, the staff understands the rhythm of a business lunch. From the moment we were greeted by the host, the service was seamless. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, offering precise recommendations and timing the courses beautifully. Crucially for a business meeting, the staff practiced "discreet hospitality"--they were highly attentive, ensuring water glasses were always filled and plates were cleared promptly, yet they never interrupted the flow of our conversation at critical moments. The entire meal was paced perfectly, wrapping up within a comfortable 75 minutes, leaving us plenty of time to return to the office without feeling rushed. The Verdict The George Sportsmanship Lounge successfully shatters the mold of the traditional, outdated steakhouse business lunch. By combining a stunningly curated, upscale atmosphere with world-class gastronomy and highly professional service, they have created the ultimate venue for the modern executive. It is a masterclass in hospitality, and it has easily secured its spot as my go-to recommendation for lunch meetings. Highly Recommended for: Client entertainment, executive team lunches, and power midday dining.

There are a few video poker machines at the bar, and more on the floor, Dotty's style. Dotty's and Bourbon Street share owners. Employees were helpful, and had info about the other Bourbon Street locations. Other than allowing smoking, I really like the place.
