    Cheeseburger with sweet potato fries

Warm, fun, lively- What a great place. You don't have to be a local to feel at home here. Return visit for our family and they didn't disappoint. Food was wonderful especially the coconut shrimp. Our waiter was the best.

Cole was great and he recommended the Philly cheesesteak which came out hot. Husband loved the salted caramel ice cream.

Well done instead of medium steak, dry potatoes, overcooked and bland green beans.

Waiter was great, food not so much. Asked for medium ribeye ($38 ribeye), received an overcooked, thin sliced ribeye. As a Texan I'm appalled. Green beans were overcooked and only had garlic seasoning, no salt. Potatoes dry as well. Do not recommend.

    Chicken fried steak

The family and I came here for dinner our first night in Angel Fire based upon previous Yelp reviews but we didn't care for the food or the prices. I realize it's a ski and maybe fishing resort town but the prices were ridiculously high for what we got. I ordered the chicken fried steak and the steak was obviously was frozen and just heated to order, the mashed potatoes were an odd color and were cold and didn't even taste like potatoes and the green beans were not fresh but frozen and full of water when you bite into them. My husband and daughter each got a hamburger and my husband said it was alright but a bit dense. Looked like a typical frozen patty. $98 for a kids meal, a burger, cfs and some onion rings. Not worth it.

Sleepy little bar but they offer karaoke and band nights plus lots if specials for occasions. Definitely worth checking.

The Pub has reopened! Featuring beer from its sister restaurant (the Brewery) and really good food. Try the Pot Pie.

Then we decided to order "to go" the chicken bites and the Alpine Burger. They were delicious! The chicken bites/tenders (not the strips!) are homemade and freaking awesome. I got a side of honey mustard to go with. We will definitely come back. It wasn't busy, but it was a Tuesday night, so not a lot going on anyway. Very casual spot. Had a nice fire going. Cute, laid-back spot.

There were only two gals working the entire restaurant. We ended up with the bartender as our waitress - but we had to go to the bar to get our drinks. There were some SKETCHY men at the bar that made me and my daughter extremely uncomfortable. We ordered cheese sticks and potato skins to start with. The potato skins tasted like boiled potatoes with cheese on them - absolutely disgusting. We were told while ordering that all the chicken products were frozen. Most of our party ended up ordering burgers medium rare - they were bone dry. One person ordered the blue corn enchiladas - bless they were TERRIBLE - boiled chicken and soggy tortillas - YUCK! We ended up dropping $300 on terrible service and terrible food. Would most definitely NOT recommend.

The staff doing the security checks didn't seem like they were paying much attention to what they were doing. Only one person was using the metal detecting wand so it took a little while to get to everyone in line, but I saw a few people walk around this guy and go straight to the other staff member who was scanning the tickets at the entrance. I assumed they were other staff or crew for the bands but nope, there were attendees like everyone else. Don't know why the other security staff just let them walk past. Sometimes the security guy vaguely waved the wand in someone's general direction without really checking and that was good enough, I guess. The security guy waved the metal detector wand around me and nothing seemed out of the ordinary but then the guy jammed the wand into my crotch. I was startled but he said I could proceed. I bet he wasn't even looking where he was pointing the wand. I thought about getting something to eat but the menu only had limited offerings which were a chili dog, Indian taco, frito pie, fries, and ice cream sandwiches. The carnival food didn't appeal to me so I settled for an $8 drink during my time at the concert. Outside food and drink are not allowed here. The venue has two outdoor stages, the big dome-shaped one in the back and a smaller platform off to the side by the entrance. There are plastic tables and chairs placed around the area and some metal tables and chairs on the patio under the shade structure. There was a tent off to the side selling the same items that were offered inside but out here you had to pick up your food from a small window farther along the building's exterior. I found it kind of funny that there was a designated smoking section by the fence but there were plenty of people smoking all around the area. It was raining during the concert but that didn't bother me or anyone else as it looked like almost everyone brought umbrellas and rain gear. I may visit again if there is another concert I want to see taking place here.

Looks like we're a little too early for the live music, but there's a pool table in the back room (yea, that means we'll be back! I'm having first date at Sharky's vibes as a little Elton John and Aerosmith are playing on the juke box) Plenty of bar-food options. We're grabbing the coconut chicken fingers tonight, not real hungry- just wanted a place to get out of the house for our last night in town. They arrived, hot, friend and not bad- not real heavy on the coconut (in case you were wondering). Could use some kind of a tropical pineapple-something sauce, cause the ranch just feels a little weird. I couple see us coming back- especially for the pool table!
