What a cute little gem! We were searching for a sports bar to grab a beer after a hike, and stumbled upon this place. We got there on a Saturday around 3:30 pm and the bar was already packed with regulars. (Thats always a good sign) We sat at one of the bar round tables and got a couple beers and some food. Our server was incredibly helpful and friendly. Going to far as to modify a meal for my husband, who keeps a strict diet. I got the short rib and mash, and it was really flavorful. We have been coming here for a few months now, and we've always had a great time. However, recently we had two questionable experiences involving the same employee. Last Friday, this young brown haired girl was our server. She was friendly, but the service was incredibly slow and inconsistent, even though it wasn't particularly busy for a Friday night. She would disappear for long periods and repeatedly go behind the bar to talk to other customers. From our table, it looked like she was drinking and taking shots with people at the bar. She also appeared noticeably intoxicated, which was concerning since she was supposed to be working. Odd behavior for an employee but I guess recent college grads think this immature behavior is ok. We left feeling frustrated but decided to give the restaurant the benefit of the doubt because we really like this place. Last night, we came back to give it another chance. Our experience with the staff was much better. Our server was also bartending and did an excellent job. She was attentive and friendly even while busy. Another server was also doing a great job checking on her tables while they played trivia. Definitely a better staff working this shift. Then, we noticed the same girl from Friday. This time, she was clearly off the clock and dressed in regular clothes. However, she repeatedly went behind the bar and started making drinks and shots for her and her friends.... Again. At one point, we saw her handling the ice with her bare hands instead of using a scooper. We were pretty surprised that was done right in front of everyone. She again appeared very intoxicated, and we were honestly confused as to why someone who wasn't working was allowed behind the bar making drinks. We understand that employees can come in on their days off and socialize with friends but this looks more like a pattern. We hope management takes a closer look at the professionalism and maturity expected from employees. We didn't see any managers last night unfortunately otherwise we may have mentioned this on the spot. While people are allowed to have fun and enjoy themselves, drinking while working or behaving as though you're working behind the bar while intoxicated and off the clock is not something we would expect from a professional establishment. In fact, I don't even know if the local dive bars would allow this type of behavior. Again, it just reminds me of poor decisions we make when we're in our late teens/early 20s. Until recently, place has been great and the employees who were actually working last night did provide excellent service. We didn't want to leave a negative review because we enjoy supporting local businesses but we feel like this is worth mentioning. We hope this reaches management or the owner because we like this restaurant and would like to continue coming here, but we hope this behavior is addressed and that employees are held to a higher standard. We were going to have a group here to celebrate a birthday next month but sadly we may have to find a different place until this is resolved. read more

What a fun spot! We stopped in because we saw they posted about live music on their Instagram page. We ordered the poutine, chicken wings, bread pudding, an old fashioned and a beer flight. Would order everything again! For the poutine, I'd probably add an extra egg because I like a lot of yolk. The chicken wings were crispy and tasty! Have had this place on my "want to try " list for awhile. Mission accomplished, ate here with a good friend for lunch. I had the beef dip sandwich with fries. Keep in mind I love, love beef dips and have high expectations. This experience did not disappoint. The beef was plentiful, on fresh roll and the au jus delicious. Fries are also a personal thing, I prefer skinny, slightly crispy and again was not disappointed. Service was friendly and efficient. One of us had the regular beef stew which was delicious and the waitress suggested short ribs, which the third person thought was good but a little fatty. The waitress who we didn't get her name and the receipt said nighttime bartender, never checked on us didn't help when we said what should we get etc. the best thing about the night was the avocado bruschetta. A great gastropub serving some good pub fare, British and otherwise. I absolutely loved my bangers & mash even if again the dish has a wild ratio of potatoes to meat in it. I could've done with more sausage, but that's everywhere that serves the dish so I can't fault this joint for the inequity. I also had a chance to try the wings, the short rib poutine, and the house fries. They were all great. I'll have to come back to try some more of the menu. I especially was eying the lobster roll as I'm a complete sucker for a good lobster roll. The service was great. Our primary server was super diligent and helpful. And everyone that pitched in was as professional as could be. The space was great as was needed for our company get together. One at back with a fire pit but it's also smoking section. Then another at front with heaters above. Then there's the lounge/bar area and the restaurant section at the back. We were in the restaurant so you can't see the musician or bar but you can hear. Dinner was delicious. Portions are good, I barely got through half of the chicken club. We thought $23 for the veggie-only pasta was a bit steep. Went over to sit at the bar tables to check out musician after dinner and he was really good. Servers very attentive. The shepherds pie was incredible with a great lamb/beef mixture with just the right hint of gameness and perfectly fluffy mash on top. The spice box was a unique, but equally great pub food. The chef even came out and asked us about it since not many people order it, and he told us its a staple at chip carts over in Ireland! He called it the "white castle" of Irish food haha. In any case, it was very nicely spiced and left a warm sensation in your mouth, and the curry sauce was so good it could pass at an authentic Indian restaurant. I came to Pub Thirty-Two on Saturday, August 16, and am writing this review the same day while it's still fresh in my mind. My family doesn't love the time I take away being on my phone writing reviews, but I'm helping our Yelp community the way they help me pick a place to go next. The place still had a cozy, welcoming vibe, and it was a little on the quiet side during my visit. That bit of quiet won't deter me from coming back, I actually appreciate a place with good ambiance, food, and drinks. I'm all about a place's story and the owner's journey that brought them here, but I'm not sure I got the vibe that I'd meet a friendly, hands-on owner at Pub Thirty-Two. If the staff isn't naturally that way, it usually reflects the tone set from the top, so both the owner and staff set the overall vibe. My husband ordered a Coors Light on tap, and I tried the Strawberry Farms, super refreshing and not overly sweet just the way I like my drinks. I also had the Pub Star Martini, and both cocktails were excellent. The music was enjoyable without being too loud, and the inside was clean and comfortable. For food, we ordered everything together because we always share and taste food together. I had the pork belly scallop with pineapple sauce, so good! The flavors were balanced and not overpowering, which let you really taste everything. We also shared the cheese and charcuterie board, which unfortunately was not good, but the Dublin Lawyer is a must, wow! It has mushrooms, shrimp, a creamy delicious sauce, and leaves of garlic. If you're sharing and planning on a first-date kiss, maybe don't, but by far, it's my favorite dish! Adding everything together, this is not a place I'd visit often, but when needed, it's a solid choice. Wow! Ownership has changed. We loved the old owner (a tip of the hat to Daimond) but we are fans of the new menu and changes we can see coming. I had the vegan (yes vegan!) irish stew and it was spectacular. Just what I needed on a cold overcast day. My husband had the house salad with grilled salmon and loved it. I've driven by this place for many years without stopping by, until tonight. My wife and I thought the restaurant looked nice and our waiter was friendly, but we weren't fans of our meals. The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't very tasty. My Irish Whiskey Burger looked great, but the meat really needed salt and seasoning. The fries also lacked salt and flavor. I was expecting better for the $19 meal. My wife was excited to see Boxty Potatoes on the menu (reminds her of her time in Ireland), but she said they needed to be a bit crispier. Not sure if our experience was an outlier, but I don't think we'll make the effort to stop by again. There is a sign outside that says there has been or will be a change in ownership. I'm very disappointed with my experience at Pub Thirty Two. We came in just trying to relax and enjoy our afternoon after a long day of work. When we ordered drinks, the bartender already seemed a bit rude and unwelcoming, which set the tone for the visit. To avoid any issues and just enjoy ourselves, we decided to sit outside quietly. Unfortunately, the situation got worse. Two employees came outside and approached us in a very disrespectful way and made a racist remark, referring to us as "two tequilas" and saying "clean up those two tequilas," basically telling us we needed to leave immediately. It was extremely uncomfortable and offensive. No customer should ever be treated that way. Restaurants and bars should be places where everyone feels welcome and respected. Allowing employees to behave in a racist and disrespectful manner toward customers is unacceptable. What makes it even more disappointing is that I was actually considering bringing a group of coworkers here in the future. After this experience, I absolutely won't be doing that. From the more traditionally Irish side of the menu, I had the Poutine. The humble layering of fries, gravy, beef, and an egg never tasted so good. Pub Thirty Two is in a strip mall with lots of stores, restaurants, and services, so for lunch in a Friday there was plenty of parking. We arrived just before 12 and were waited on immediately. Our server was also the bartender. She gave good service and was pleasant. We ordered a Diet Coke and lemonade, I ordered a bowl of lobster bisque, and he ordered a cup of lobster bisque with half grilled cheese sandwich. We both agreed the bisque was just meh. It kinda tasted like it had bits of concentrated soup that hadn't quite melted yet (like from a can) and had chunks of langostino tales (not lobster) in it. I have no idea why this place has so many good reviews. My husband had a cold hamburger served with cold fries. We sent it back and the next burger and fries was hot, but the two slices of bacon we're not fried long enough. There was a lot of unrendered fat on the bacon. I had the shepherds pie, which was just OK. They did try to make it up to us and gave us a free slice of carrot cake to share, but unfortunately the carrot cake was also not that good. We had a great evening out with the family in Pub Thirty Two, the staff were excellent, and the food was amazing, we shared a bunch of appetizers, the reuben croquettes, tomato avocado bruschetta were the hits, the little one had the mac and cheese, two thumbs up, then there was the Irish Breakfast, was a taste of home with real bread and a pint, followed by the bread and butter pudding.
