I can see why the reviews are so great about this place. The Public House is a great addition to Lincoln! Located in a busy shopping center there is plenty of parking. The establishment itself is sleek and modern and the employees were all lovely. Very friendly and knew what they were doing. There was also plenty of seating. I ordered the London Fog and the Maple Sausage sandwich. The London fog tasted high quality but I felt like it needed a little more vanilla. My sandwich was also good! The biscuit was a little dry but the maple syrup added on top helped make it easier to chew. Once again you can tell they use high quality ingredients. I'll definitely be back! Their website says it turns in to a bar at night but I haven't seen any hours for that- I hope it's true! read more

Just go...don't wait! What an awesome spot! The space is unassuming on the outside - it used to be a bank - but what they did with the inside is so adorable! Open with plenty of welcoming seating! Once upon a time on a Christmas eve morning in Lincoln Rhode Island the Public House was open. The coffee shop was filled with gingerbread and eggnog flavoring while thoughts of fig and cream cheese danish dance on the counter. The staff were dressed in festive christmas sweaters and spreading christmas cheer. Oh what a fun time of year! The eggnog iced matcha was a new holiday flavor for me. I would have it again! The fig and cream cheese danish had a lot, maybe too much fig for me and I love fig! It was my first visit and I will be back again. read more

Cool place. The food is good! Everything is made in house, all fresh and yummy! It can get a little loud inside, but it's not bad. Nice lil cafe on Front St in Lincoln next to the old fire station. We roast males its own coffees & I tried the cold brew with cream & sugar. My only complaint was taste wise it was an alternative milk/creamer & not half & half; but it was still enjoyable. Friendly & attentive cashier took the order & it didn't take long for the artisan made my coffee. The rest of my group (who arrived prior to me) enjoyed scones or other pastry types & a couple of their other drink offerings & all seemed pleased. I love WeRoast! My family and I are regulars here, and I think we all have different favorite parts of this cafe. My husband loves their cold brew coffee and beans, my kid is obsessed with their muffins, and I love the local artwork for sale on the walls. The service is warm, friendly, but also efficient. The owner, Teddy, is personable and always present seeking to improve the experience. I've been here more often during the day, but the evening cocktail menu is also fantastic. What a great addition to Lincoln! I was looking for somewhere to work in the area for awhile and Public House was perfect. The employees were friendly and love that they also have a drive-thru. Parking was easy and plentiful when I was there, it's a big plaza! I got a latte which was tasty and also the bacon sandwich with the habanero jam. Love that they have some creative breakfast sandwiches and not just super standard fare. The toasts also looked great. While I was working in there, some women were playing Mahjong at a neighboring table, and plenty of young kids were stopping in with their parents, other's working, or just talking. It really was a community gathering place of all ages, which was lovely to see. read more

Came for a work/study session with my friend today and it was delicious! More spacious inside and outside has 3 two person tables along with a drive thru with two spots. Grabbed some counters and ordered at the register. The pastries looked very inviting and the menu was easy to read. Grabbed a Nutella strawberry pastry and a hot mocha latte with a deli sandwich. My sandwich was absolutely delicious and flavorful~ not dry, and warm with great sauces~ there was also a WiFi available. I was very pleased and enjoyed this cafe! There was flyers of of fun nights and events at the cafe which I took pictures because they looked very fun. Will be back for one of those events soon! read more

Love this place! Located in a strip mall so there is plenty of parking. Lots of seating options. Super comfy bar seats. Sandwiches, toasts, pastries, smoothies, lunch options, and even cocktails. Its their anniversary month so they are running a special of a Birthday Cake Latte which was DELICIOUS. They make their own syrups which is always a win in my book. I love this college-vibe cafe. There are at least 4 different seating options from couches to standard dining chairs to the bar. It seems to be in what used to be a bank. They serve coffee, tea, breakfast sandwiches, pastries, lunch sandwiches, and even alcohol! I haven't been for an adult beverage yet, but I spotted Japanese whiskey on their shelf! I had a hot latte that was perfectly frothed. Their BEC sandwich that comes on a croissant bun with habanero jam...very tasty! Also had the roast beef sandwich when I went for lunch and the horseradish was the perfect touch to this sandwich. Prices are pretty standard. You get a bag of kettle chips with your lunch sandwich, which you can order a half order of as well. Customer service was great. You order at the counter and they give you a number. Once your order is ready, they bring your food to you. I'm excited to come here in the evening to try their cocktails out, and just be back in general because everything I've had from here has been great quality. read more

The iced coffee and lattes are smooth and brewed well and lots of alternative milk and flavored shot options. Formally known simply as We Roast, this little café has quickly become a community hub. Previously, they were located next to Lincoln creamery and moved into the Front St. plaza a few months ago sporting a convenient drive-through! Stop in in the morning or afternoon for some food, such as açaí bowls, fancy toasts, sandwiches, and pastries. Definitely grab yourself some of their excellent coffee while you're here as well! Inside is super cute, filled with some local art, and plenty of seating, ranging from barstools, to tables, to comfy chairs. Very relaxed atmosphere. Friendly staff. Super clean. Some say they are slightly pricey, however, I think it's appropriate for the caliber of food/drink you get. At night, they offer a wider variety of food and alcohol. We have not stopped by during the evening yet, but hope to do so soon. Just as an FYI, the owner is a super nice guy and we are very happy for his continued success at this new location. The women who waited on me was very nice but said the peppermint latte was wonderful and didn't taste like toothpaste at all...it was not enjoyable at all and did taste like I brushed my teeth with coffee flavored toothpaste‍the everything bagel focaccia was delicious but a bit dry. Overall it's a lovely addition to our area. My only one problem is I don't love their actual cold brew coffee roast. I will keep trying different things, I always get some variation of the cold brew. However, I prefer a smoother and more bold roast so maybe I'm ordering the wrong thing. I want this to be my coffee spot so badly, someone tell me what to order! read more

Absolutely wonderful service! The ladies running the counter were so kind, and chatty, and they let us sample some flavors before we chose which one to commit to. These women coupled with the coffee makes this a 5/5 king of place. They really take pride in their brews, they espresso machines was acting up so they recommended we don't get a latte after they tasted the espresso shot. Plus the pumpkin sauce was made from real pumpkins! Honestly this was great. I'm bummed it's about 30 mins from me. This is the kind of place where you try something new, and you try it without milk or sugar to really taste the coffee. I will make special trips to Lincoln just to come here. We also went to their booth at the hocus pocus festival at chase, they had some younger people working and they too were so friendly and their apple cider was yummy. Great business! I like this spot! Located next to the ice cream shop in Lincoln, they are almost easy to miss! It's beautiful inside, and the atmosphere is very cozy. Fireplace and Christmas tree here would give me vibes. Staff is so friendly and they even have a reward program if you enter your number before your purchase. I would say they need a place where you can sweeten your own coffee like Starbucks and it would be really cool if they had more flavors as well. Will update my review when they add things. read more
