    mangonada and dori-esquite
    Rebecca B.

Small dessert shop in Central Falls. I tried their Mangonada and Dorit-esquite. Both treats are great to share for two, depending on if you are craving sweet or savory. They also have the Sandida, similar to a Mangonada but with Watermelon sorbet, and I was also intrigued to try that. It's mainly a take-out treat spot, no seating, and street parking. The woman who prepared the treats was super nice. I'd definitely go back in the summer time or if I want a quick fix for sweets.

Cute place that also sells gifts, chocolates, etc. The menu is behind you (I missed it and then felt very bad for asking the owner to list them) and the lists of toppings are a bit hidden behind the arrangements. Owner is very nice and will put up with your bad Spanish. Her English is perfect. I need to catch up. Açai bowl is excellent, and the honeydew on mine was AMAZING. Seriously. The mango is a little underripe, like the other review said, but it's definitely edible. They also let the weird gringa just buy a frozen banana on a stick w/o the chocolate (it was delicious, it doesn't even need the chocolate tbh!) so bless them. My freezer is tiny, so I will now be there all the time to annoy them for more bananas this summer.

Nice staff, lots of fruity options. I had the Acai bowl, you pick 3 fruits, 3 toppings and a drizzle. I also ordered a berry smoothie, a mangonada, a tropical smoothie and a popsicle. Everyone liked their order. The cost was reasonable. It's a takeout place.

    Here's my Mangonada :)

What fun it was to walk into this cheerful shop. The woman who I believe was the owner was so gracious and warm. Being handed that Mangonada made my day. I've tucked a few of her yummy looking homemade paletas into my freezer. Also scooped up a few de la Rosa Mazapans and some cardamom chiclets. How fun is that?? Next day: Whoa. This Arroz con Leche paleta is so so good!! Next next day: Another yummy homemade paleta: spicy mango this time! I've cued up my sister to join me when I go back this week :)

I heard about this place from a friend. I've been dying to try a mangonada for the longest and just wasn't sure how it taste. And finally today, we've tried it and it did not disappoint at all. We are definitely going back to try more stuff.

    Acai Bowl

Offers good different options. The açaí bowl was good. Price was ok, but understandable since the fruits are fresh. The staffs were also friendly. For sure would recommend it.

The tacos and burritos are small, and while they're good, they're not at a level where the cost makes sense. At this price point, I expected either noticeably higher-end ingredients or something that really stands out beyond a solid taco/burrito. It ends up feeling like you're paying premium prices for a pretty standard portion and experience. Not bad food at all, just not a place I'd go to regularly given the value

This past Saturday- it was the day. First and foremost I grew up in Pawtucket and if memory serves me correctly this used to be a drive thru photo hut? Pawtucket tap water out of crate and barrel glasses. Lipstick on a pig! Thick chips (needs salt), super fresh guacamole. Win for the guac! 2 tacos. 1. Birria: it's a dirty taco. It's $3 and change for the consomme! (What?!) Lacked flavor. Needs a little something. I added lime and sour cream. 2. Asada: again, missing flavor. I did have 2 bites of their $18 cheese quesadilla (totally overpriced) I did like their cheese but it sat in a small puddle of liquid. Refried beans were very creamy but needed salt. I was left confused over the nomination...

Inside is small with only a few tables, and a counter front with a large menu displaying the food options in Spanish. They provided menus that had options in both English and Spanish (but it was obvious the restaurant catered more to a Spanish speaking audience). That being said, the staff was extremely friendly and had no problem communicating in English. Food selection included tacos, quesadillas, nachos, burritos, and other Mexican fare. Most everything had significant choices as to what protein type you might want on it. Foot quality was amazing. We had only a small variety of food choices in our party of 6, but everyone agreed their food was high quality and tasted great. Overall, if you want a no frills option for high quality Mexican food at a good price, I don't think you're going to find much better.

This place is small and does fill up but seems like most do take out. Parking is a bit tight and limited to street parking, but on a rainy day, there was plenty available. Staff was very friendly and attentive to getting us drinks, more tacos, and checking in on us~ my family speaks Spanish, and staff are fluent and native speakers of Spanish. Central fall caters to a mostly Hispanic population, so it's very welcoming. My partner speaks english, and with his limited Spanish, he ordered with no issue and the staff understood him well. My burrito was customized to my preference which had the cheese, rice, avocado, and no crema. Sounds very restrictive if that's just how my diet is, and I'm so glad they complied and gave me a delicious burrito! The meat was savory and tasty and the table had a container with three different sauces. The hottest was the dark red, and it was super good! I actually finished the whole meal and didn't feel too heavy. It was satisfying. The tacos were tasty, messy, but good. My partner ordered two more and he was too focused on his food to take a picture. For drinks, I got a seasonal drink called Atole Chanpurrado, which is made from corn flour, corn starch, and milk along with cinnamon. There are many versions, but this restaurant had the traditional one. It was super tasty and warm, very enjoyable on a cold rainy day. It was very homey!

We wanted to try everything in the menu because we saw what people were eating and it all looked amazing! We ordered 3 tacos, chilaquiles, sopes and a Gordita. The tacos were all good but if I had to rank them I would say 1 al pastor but it has a slight kick to it, carnitas was a close second and then the carne asada. The chilaquiles were so good and my husband was happy and I was happy I didn't have to cook them lol. The sopes were good just bigger than what I'm used to so if you're use to smaller ones, don't order more than one because these are big! I ate the whole Gordita and almost forgot to breathe lol but I did order a side of refried beans and I added them to my Gordita and it was just all good!!! As a Mexican from LA, I've been searching for Mexican food all over Rhode Island and I definitely found a place worth driving over 30 minutes to. They take Apple Pay, major cards and cash. I love how friendly both ladies were and how patient they were with me and how slow I ordered all of my food.
