Paying 140$ a month to keep my possessions safe. I come to my unit almost everyday to grab supplies for work etc. That being said, I went to my unit at around 12pm Sunday afternoon. 10 min later an employee , Sherry, came around asking if I was sleeping here. She also asked me what I was doing in my unit that I pay for.... As if it's her business I said I'm " moving things around " she replied " moving things around?! Let me see " I've never once saw an employee the entire time I've rented a unit and the first time I do I'm accused of sleeping here and felt interrogated. Most people are not in the best position in life when renting storage and the bad attitude and lack of respect or decency displayed by the staff is unacceptable. read more

I would give no stars if I could. People are thieves. We have had one unit for 20 plus years and the other for 3 plus years. Constantly getting increases and its cheaper to be a new client. They tell us too bad and don't care about customer loyalty, several places in the area are much cheaper, so it's time to go!!!!! read more

Public Storage has been extremely helpful and available for my needs. I have been a customer for 20 years +. It has been last few years pricing has risen to high. The pricing even as loyal customer, even having more than 1 unit at a time. I found that to be disappointing. However PS has taken away professional person helping , instead kiosk machines have replaced business. Not a good choice. I find I have to call to confirm questions and answers now. I am saddened by these changes, but I presently have my storage with PS. I make the best of it. Thank you Mac read more

I've had the contents of my entire home in storage for approx 6 months. 16 days ago, I went to my storage unit to check on belongings and noticed ALL of my furniture had been chewed. I came face to face with a squirrel in the unit. I obviously reported this immediately. I was told while there that this was a KNOWN problem. When the usual manager came back the next day, she told me this is the first they've ever heard of this issue but also that they had the trees cut back not long ago. Obviously there was an issue. Here we are 16 days later and NOTHING has been done. Squirrels are still inhabiting my storage unit and no solution has been offered. There are clear openings from my unit to the outside and the squirrels can easily jump between units. I've been several times in the past 2+ weeks and you can hear them all scatter from unit to unit when I arrive and bang on the door. The contents of my home are ruined. If your stuff is under the trees at this facility, I'd go check on your belongings. I guarantee they're ruined. I have waited patiently for a solution while my storage unit was being torn to shreds. Nothing has been done in over 2 weeks. Unacceptable. Also, to speak to previous reviews. My price has been increased twice. From $114/month to now $160/month. It's absolute nonsense. read more

I did an online reservation for Voorhees NJ but the promotion I thought I was going to get wasn't available at that location. I was sent over to Blackwood, NJ where I was done paper work and shown my unit in 20 minutes or so. However, the only disappointment was the $1 for first month promotion was followed by $50+ in fees. So in fact, its money off move in price rather than $1. My 10x10 came to about $60. read more

I'd give zero stars, if I could. Terrible service, awful manager. My boyfriend went to the storage facility today to look for something, and our unit was right on the end. There were no arrows painted on the pavement indicating that it was a one way, so he did a u-turn to go back to the gate to leave. The manager, Maria, came out and rudely told him to follow the arrows; he apologized and said he wouldn't do it again. On her way back in to the office, she said "f***ing @$$hole" just loud enough for him to hear. When he stopped the car and went in (within 45 seconds of her saying this) to confront her, she denied having said it, and then pretended that she had said it to someone else. She was not on the phone, nor was there anyone in the office with her, so it was obviously meant towards him. Removed all of my stuff and went to a new facility that same afternoon; cancelling with Public Storage and will NEVER recommend this to anyone. Maria does not belong in a managerial role, let alone a customer service position. This was not the first negative occurrence that I had with Public Storage, but it certainly was the straw that broken the camel's back. Will never go back to them, nor will I recommend that anyone use them. read more

The process was very smooth. I booked the unit online and when I arrived to finalize the unit, all paperwork was waiting for me. Tracy was great. She explained everything in detail and has a great personality. I would recommend Public Storage to others who are looking for a storage facility. read more
