40% hike in monthly rent after only having a storage unit here for three months! Obnoxious and predatory.

Assholes just raised my rent 40 percent in one month. Don't do it. They just continue to raise prices. No real warning

Could be better…read more Units aren't as secure as I'd like, no A/C, so on a hot day, you'd work up a nice sweat. Elevator is sketchy, and you still have to get out of the car to get the gate to open with your code instead of just driving up and opening automatically.

Wouldn't recommend this facility to my mortal enemy…read more I reserved a 10'x10' storage unit online--clearly advertised as a "standard" 800 cubic foot unit (10'x10'x8'). What I got instead? A Frankenstein-ed space barely totaling ~400 cubic feet. Front section: 7' tall × 3' deep × 9.75' wide = ~205 cu ft Back section: 4' tall × 5' deep × 9.75' wide = ~195 cu ft Total: ~400 cu ft--literally half of what I paid for. Once you've moved your stuff in and realized you've been misled, you're stuck. They'll gladly "help" by upselling you another unit at full price--no promotional offers honored--because now you're an existing customer. Classic bait-and-switch. They will tell you that you have already moved in to the unit you chose, dreaming of fitting everything inside and trying your best to use every Tetris skill developed over years of practice, but it won't fit no matter what and your movers will have to go to their other job, leaving you stuck in this nightmare. Oh, and if you're moving furniture, good luck. The elevator doesn't even fit a standard sectional couch. Hope your movers don't charge extra for hauling things up stairs. When I reached out to Public Storage Corporate, their solution was a unit at a different location if I was willing to pay the rate difference. Meaning, I now have to hire movers again because their website misrepresents the product, and this location has no appropriately sized units left. Also, please remember that all sizes are approximate and vary by facility. The square footage is what they go by, not height. That's all they are allowed to say. But they can't even get the square footage to be appropriately advertised! Apparently, the only way to avoid this mess is to schedule an in-person tour with an overworked manager juggling multiple facilities--because trusting Public Storage is a mistake.

What is going on with prices!? This is a freaking JOKE. Self-storage has LITTLE overhead costs, and…read moreyou are bleeding paying for a box of space! OVER $200 a month for a 10x10!?!? It makes more sense to pay that towards rent to move into a bigger apartment! What happened to reasonable prices? A 10x10 should cost around $60 a month. I cannot believe people are actually paying these prices.... use that money to move into a bigger home or buy a shed at Home Depot (for those who own houses). This is a bloody joke. If these places are really getting away with these insane prices, it is because people are willing to pay for it... guys, use the money towards renting a bigger place with storage.

Conveniently located (for my needs, anyway), with many units of various sizes. I rented a larger…read morespace to store our clutter while our new house was under construction. They now have an app that opens the security gate, which is nice. Our unit remained dry through the rainy days and I never saw any vermin during any of my dozens of visits. There are four access roads within the facility. The two in the middle are nice and wide and allow for vehicles to pass... you are lucky if you score a unit on one of those. The two roads on the sides do not allow passing except where there is a short and narrow turnout. If someone is blocking your way, and they are unwilling to move, you either have to make a very long detour, drive backwards around tricky corners, OR you just have to wait it out for long periods of time. A word of advice - Be sure to cover any belongings that aren't in sealed containers, because the units aren't airtight. The entire facility sits in the armpit of the 405/90 freeway interchange, so everything eventually gets caked with a layer of black/brown soot. It was difficult to lock/unlock our roll-up door. At times I had to resort to dislodging it with a hammer and screwdriver. I also occasionally had to stomp on the door handle to get the bolt to engage. I don't think this was just a quirk with my specific unit, because it was an employee who taught me the stomping technique. (He had clearly encountered this issue before.) By far, the most dreadful part of my experience was the frequent and substantial price increases. In just under three years, I had to endure three hits. After I moved in on July 2022, there were increases of: 14.9% in November 2022 (just four months in!), 13.7% in August 2023, and 12.0% in July 2024. To end on a positive note, I am giving an additional star to my review because of the employees in the office. Every single one of the staff was consistently friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful.
