This facility auctions off unpaid units. We have won bids twice only to be met with resistance by the property owner (?) manager (?) ALL other Public Storage facilities give us a temporary code so that we can enter & exit the facility at our convenience in order to empty the unit within 48 hours. This place REFUSES to provide a temporary code. When we call, no one answers. When we go there, the doors are locked. We were told that an employee has to be there to let us in & out, BUT THERE IS NEVER AN EMPLOYEE THERE. We are supposed to clean out in 48 hours but they expect us to only work within the tome frame someone is on site, which is NEVER. So, now we know why no one ever outbids us at this facility & we will NEVER BID ON ANOTHER UNIT THERE. And, we placed a complaint with the bidding app. read more

I needed a storage unit for my new motorcycle and rented a 5x10 online only to find out that my bike would not fit through the opening at almost closing time! Not only did they get me a new 11x11 drive up unit that evening but stayed past opening hours to do so as I was desperate to get the bike in because I was leaving for New York City the next day! The unit is big and roomy and easy for me to ride my bike right into the unit! read more

Please bring attention that storage facilities are stating that if you can't pay they will lock you out of all your possessions and charge you double the following. Literally everything you may own is there and state govt for past week does not want non essential travel and have been emailing storage facilities for a week stating have no way to get things moved and furloughed!You have a match lit above everything We own! The sight property manager is unreasonable with certain people and seems as if she may have some sort of age/racial discrimination. The unit I rented not only had stains and footprints seemingly tracked from previous owners but I also had damage on various items stored in the unit due to heat. Upon my notification of such issues I was met with impolite stern response "if this space is not spotless you will be charged" my unit is in exact condition as received and is in consistence with surrounding units. I do hope corporate can coach on-site staff to better handle customer service. read more

Our experiences with Public Storage have been terrible overall. We need a drive up unit with a larger than typical door. Most storage companies all have standard 8 foot doors so we're left with very few options, one of which is Public Storage. At first they seem great. We rented during a "special" when they were advertising 1/2 the regular rental rate FOR THE LIFE OF THE RENTAL. Wow, right? We were excited and decided to get in there right away. We were told that the cost of the unit was regularly $428 so we contracted at $214 monthly which is a lot for us, but certainly better than paying full price. We signed our contract in May around Labor Day. Our first payment would be taken out (automatically) on June 1st. We went to our unit toward the end of May and found one of those public storage "naughty" locks on our unit. We knew that our payment was on an auto pay PLUS it wasn't even due yet, so how could we be late? We came back later in the day to see what had happened and didn't even get so much as an "I'm sorry" from Kia the property manager. She basically shrugged and said it must have been put on there accidentally. Of course it was, but at least tell us you're sorry it happened. Nope. So everything goes smoothly moving forward, our payments go out automatically, we don't find any extra locks on our unit but at the beginning of November we get a little postcard in the mail saying that our rate is increasing from the promised $214 to $259! What? We've only been there 6 months and what happened to my special rate? When we asked Kia if there was anything she could do about the rate increase she told us to call Corporate and gave us a phone number. That phone number was essentially a huge loop that wouldn't allow you to speak to anyone other than your property manager and she'd already told me she wasn't going to do anything about it. When I finally did get in touch with them (I looked another number up online) they told me that rate increase reductions were handled at the local level and they gave me the number for the district manager Jeanie or something like that. I called and left her a message - no response. My fiancé called and left a message for the Regional Manager Bobby but we got a call from the senior district manager instead. His name was Mike and HE told me that rate increase reductions were handled by Corporate. Hmmmm. Someone wasn't telling me the truth. I decided to try to reach Jeanie one more time after speaking to the assistant manager, but apparently Jeanie didn't want to talk to me because she had the same assistant manager call me back and tell me that I was out of luck. What I did find out though is that someone new, coming in off the street and wanting to rent my unit would be paying $308. That's significantly lower than the original $428 I was quoted when I got my "1/2 off special price". Is it fair for them to bump the rate up by more than $100 per month just to make the 1/2 off price sound like you're getting a deal? What a crock of crap. Now I'm stuck looking for another storage facility who won't raise my rates every 6 months or flat out lie to me. These people don't care about loyalty at all. They only worship the almighty buck. read more

This storage is disgusting. I had the unfortunate experience of renting here for over a year and finding out that there were insects and rats a few months ago. I called the office twice regarding the insects and spraying. The representative told me that they only sprayed the perimeter of the outside. My father had to come back and place rat traps and actually caught two rats! I have photos and videos. The mgr's Jeannie and Irma BOTH said no rep put any notes in the system. As if they are going to document that, I even asked one person who answered the phone, if I can bomb the unit so I can take my stuff to another clean storage. She said No. Well, clearly I'm not going to move items into a brand new storage that is clean and air-conditioned and on a high floor where rodents and insects could come with. So I bombed it anyway! The district manager Jeannie did clear my balance when she went to the unit after calling me and telling me that she was gonna charge me a cleaning fee and I told her she must mean the the rat pop and pee and I hung up on her. And I'm not paying another damn dollar to Public Storage! She called me later, saying she saw the rat feces and that someone dropped the ball by not noting it and she apologized and removed the balance because I moved out a few days after the month began. Do not rent here! Choose an indoor only clean facility where they don't call you about late fees but can't call pest control; and they truly care about your contents!! I was told today by a pest control company because the rats peed and pooped all over my couches and clothes in boxes they bit through. I have to throw out the furniture, that has been in this unit for over a year and I've paid over $2300 in a little over a year for! Btw- insurance only covers $250 for vermin! I wish I could post the pictures of the holes the rats dug out and the rats my father caught! The pest control company told me that I can get very sick if I inhaled the dust from the Feces that comes with rats. I'm calling corporate! I'm not only lost all of the money that I've paid out over the year for renting this Storage, but I have also lost my couches and some of my clothing that can't be replaced in monetary value per orange door insurance. This is bs and you guys need to be shut the hell down! read more

When I rented My unit I was Told by the person on the phone and the person in the office that my rental rate would stay the same through out my rental term. I based my descision on moving in based on this information. After being in the unit three months they hiked the rate 25%. Do Not Believe what they tell you. It's a bait and switch operation. Once your all moved in at the affordable rate they hike up the rent. So now you have to rent a truck and move it all because they lie to you to get you moved in. Shame on these Scammers. read more
