Terrible experience!! If I could give ZERO stars...I would. Stay away from this dumpster fire of a storage facility. Signs in the building say "We treat your stuff like our stuff." Total BS. I had my unit broken into 2 times and all my stuff was tossed around and the employee we told laughed in our face when we told her stuff had been stolen out of our unit the first time. They constantly break your contract and don't warn you about cutting your lock on your unit. No lights at night so the lot is pitch black. And their insurance is no help. They don't want to pay out for their mistakes so they keep giving you the run around asking for the original lock that you didn't even know was cut. Came across some other customers who told me they were warned that employees steal shit out of these storage units all the time. Wish I would've met them before I trusted them with my belongings. Looks like I might have to consult a damn lawyer because they broke my contract multiple times and lied to me about it. Not worth the $300 for your unit to be broken into. read more

Been at the Valley View Location less than a year, and some things to consider when storing at this place. 1, The Staff was helpful when we first moved in, but they don't have somebody there when you need them. 2. Was there 1 month, and the 2nd elevator has not been operational for the past 7 months ! ( we were told it would be operational within 2 weeks, BUT 7 months? ) 3. I've observed Homeless going in and out of the complex. Somehow, they have a gate code that has been given to them by another person, probably a current tenant there, and they access the property, find an empty unit, open up the roll-up door and then enter and close it behind themselves. 4. The fire doors are propped open with rags, paper, and other items in order to access the building. 5. Climate Controlled? I think NOT ! The temps within the inner units are sweltering hot! High 90s ! The A/C has been broken going on 2 months now. 6, we're happy we've never been broken into at this location, but others have had losses. read more

it's convenient to where I am living so it was a easy pick. The convenience of booking everything online was great. BUT, my unit obviously was not cleaned before move in because there was a pool of car oil in the very center of my unit. They make you pay for a lock, send you an email that the lock is inside of your unit....not there! I called the office several times, left messages asking for the lock, but no return calls or a lock in my unit. I went to the office, doors locked. I had to go purchase another lock Just to keep the unit secure until I can get someone from the office to show up to give me the ine they made me pay for. read more

This place is absolutely horrible. I had my stuff STOLEN out of my unit including a guitar, a keyboard, an ipad and some of my girlfriend's jewelry. When I put in the claim through the insurance that they force you to get they told me they would not honor anything as they saw no signs of forced entry. It's a SCAM! I know someone that works there had to have stolen it because the lock was replaced with another lock. I've had storage units before and never had an issue like this until I came to Public Storage. If you want to keep your stuff I HIGHLY recommend you NEVER go here! * Update: They recently tried to add cameras on property to make themselves look good but BE AWARE they let anyone in and I see homeless people passing through the gate all the time and they NEVER say anything! read more

Since moving in the manager has been horrible! She's not nice or helpful and raised the rent from $80 all the way to $149 in a little over a year and the only upgrade is a stupid app that allows you to access the gate when you are close enough, but most of the time does not recognize that you are close enough so you have to get out of your car anyway. I wish I was given a choice to opt out of the app instead of almost doubling my rent price! I am disgusted and think it's absolutely unacceptable!! read more

Customer service is a 5 star. I was helped tremendously and had no issues even when I had to upgrade my unit because I didn't measure correctly. The only reason for the 4 star is the upstairs floor is uneven and weak. read more

I wouldn't recommend this place at all. I paid in full for a large unit and less than a week later I was accused of breaking the fence and told I had to leave with no refund or explanation. I definitely didn't break their fence. The district manager Aaron Russell approved of the decision to kick me out without saying anything to me (the customer). Glenda at the front desk is the person who falsely accused me of breaking the fence, and she could make The same type of accusation about you. Avoid this place they are petty and will not hesitate to take your money then come up with a reason to make you leave without refund. There are similar stories dealing with this particular place. The employees were friendly and helpful enough at first, although the hours ended a little early. We had the bulk of our non furniture items stored for about 4 months. Had a bit of a financial struggle for a short period while moving and fell behind. We were notified that we had until the 25th to pay the full balance we owed or our belongings would be sold or thrown away on the 26th. Upon receiving this email, I called to let them know I had every intention of paying before that, and they confirmed that we indeed had to pay by the 25th at the latest. Our payment went through last night at midnight, 21JUL18. We called at 11am to confirm that they received it and we could come pick up our things, only to be told that all of our belongings, our entire life was gone. I'm a vet. I had my old uniforms, pictures, souvenirs. Things I can't ever get back. My girlfriend lost basically her entire life. 90% of our clothes were there, as we moved in with the very barest of essentials. Everyone we've contacted has claimed plausible deniability, despite our having this date written out in an email, and nobody can help us until Monday, another 2 days for our things to be transported elsewhere and sold or tossed. The local representative was so concerned with proving she wasn't responsible that she refused to call corporate for us after telling us her manager wouldn't get back to us until Monday. We are acquiring legal assistance for this matter, as we have emails, call records, and voicemails confirming our keeping in contact, but no settlement will ever get us back our memories that they very carelessly got rid of. read more

This place is poorly managed and not well maintained. It's basically a firetrap. They have a rodent problem. The elevators never work which makes it very difficult if you have an upstairs unit. There are many other storage places in town and much more affordable. I would avoid this one at all costs. read more

At first we were happy with our unit the price was ok but you can tell there is somebody living there that has a power inverter hooked up to there car at night so they have power in a room on top of the office which is really ghetto.. but the worse part is me and my wife spent all day moving stuff there and I was super tired so we parked our car out front we weren't even in the gate or on there property .and the ghetto ass that lives in a room above the office that they hook up an extension cord to that runs to a red car that they have parked there for power called the cops on us for me being parked in the front parking lot .So I had cops knocking on my door telling me that they received a call for suspicious vehicle... I'm suspicious ? How about the extension cord running to a car that has the hood open where you can tell it is clearly hooked to a power inverter to a battery for power coming out of the door next to the office door !! I am really disappointed with this business and pissed off that I could have went to jail..But lucky the cops could tell we were clearly tired from moving all day and just needed a little rest bc anyone that has moved knows how tiring moving can ...so just know if moving all day and nite don't park in front of this business and rest for a sec bc the people that work for this business that obviously can't afford power are cop callers .. read more

Isn't this place supposed to be climate controlled??? I just went in tonight at about 6:30 pm and let me tell you, when i walked outside it was a relief from the heat inside. The only reason i stored my stuff here is because i was informed it's climate controlled. I have a ton of stuff that needs to stay at a reasonable temperature and now it is essentially ruined. Do not put your stuff here. Was robbed twice in three nights and was obvious inside job. They have zero security accept for their front office. Any of your stuff is left to who ever wants to take it. Their motto is "We treat your stuff like its our stuff" and they do to the point that you won't get it back. What little contact I had with the upper management at this facility was horrible. They even knew they had someone living I their units after hours and allowed it. Metro investigated and informed me I was one of many robberies that was at this specific facility. If you have a cell phone and a selfie stick you can see into 80% of their indoor storage units. You would probably be better off storing you valuables in a dark alley rather than this place. read more
