I've just completed my third move (in 6.5 years, hopefully this is it for a while lol) with them and each time I have counted it 100% worth the cost. The guys arrive on time and handle your stuff with care. They moved my very heavy mirrored dresser - like backbreakingly heavy - down two flights of stairs in my old apartment and up another flight at my house without even a peep of a complaint. When I had someone coming to pickup some furniture I was donating while they were finishing up, they took a 15 minute break (which I do think they needed) and didn't charge me for that time while I was getting the other people situated. This kind of gesture is how you keep customers! A couple of doorframes were nicked in the process of moving in but all of the walls were perfectly fine and all furniture was setup in the spots I wanted it. The guys even asked before I left if I wanted them to do any rearranging and then complimented me for being nice to them. This was before I tipped them. Bravo, A Local Van P.S. When I stumbled upon 24 hour self storage, I had doubts and didn't trust that anywhere I went, nowhere could be this good to be true. Right?? Boy was I wrong!!! Not only was the cost about half of what I'd paid in the past, but I had a larger unit. I definitely took note that the grounds and units were exceptionally clean, as well as quiet! She explained what they had available and I went by to check a place out. As she and I walked down a row to check the units out, we passed one unit where a lady was in grabbing some of her things. Clare chit-chatted briefly with her, giving me the distinct impression that this place actually takes an interest in those renting from them and wants to do an exceptional job. My unit was just the right size and was impeccably clean. I bought a lock, signed the contract, and began moving things in that same day. It has been such an easy process that I wonder why I never got a storage unit sooner! But this place was so fantastic I had to take the time to share my experience. I had the distinct pleasure of working with Claire, who is dynamite, by the way. I had called ahead with the type of space I needed, she was awesome and accommodating. I called ahead again the day I went to pick up keys, and she had already printed off everything and was ready to go. She taped her business card to the key cards (which I really thought was genius) and walked me through the unit I was interested in. The whole property was very clean, well-maintained, and safe. Security cameras are EVERYWHERE. I've never used a storage unit before but I had images of Storage Wars in my brain, overpacked and creepy. Not at all what's going on there. They take a lot of pride in keeping their grounds safe and clean. I was very impressed. If you need to store stuff, even temporarily, do it here. Ask for Claire, you will fall in love with her and their property, just like I did!!

My daughter recently moved her furniture to a storage unit after selling her house and looking to buy a new one. Since she is single, and I'm retired, she enlisted my help getting moved. I was the primary contact for all moving issues. We used a different company (not Clean Slate) to move from her old house TO the storage unit. They were "decent" but I felt a little used and abused by their add on charges after the fact. I started looking for a different mover when it was time to move from the storage unit to the new home. All communications were via text. Clean Slate did meet another movers price and since they had so many 5 star reviews, I decided to go with them. There was one problem, they showed up an hour late. I considered giving them 4 stars due to showing up late, but that issue was offset by the quality of the two young men that did our move. Both guys were respectful and took good care of our possessions. They worked non stop for 4 hours. They even let this old man talk their ears off! I wouldn't hesitate to call them again.

Their reviews were great and the quote he gave me was less than PODS! John and his team moved me from Mount Washington KY to Stow OH. I needed to do a pickup on one day and delivery the next day, due to the time it took us to get to the drop off location and having to get keys from landlord. They totally made that happen. John Cotton stayed in communication with me on the pickup date after one of their trucks broke down. My Movers were Will and Jonathan and they were amazing! They were able to get the backup truck to me in a few hours. They loaded me up (2 BR House) in 2 hours. They met me the next day in OH at the designated time. They unloaded for me so fast! They even put together an entertainment center for me (I tipped them for that). I would absolutely recommend TopDogg Moving to anyone and use them again.
