When I reserved my unit I was supposed to get 1 month for $1 but that didn't happen. The size I reserved online wasnt even available but I had to get a unit so I got a different size. When we went to move out, there was water damage on the all the furniture along one wall since their side walls dont go to the roof. We also found rats in the back of the unit. I would not reccomend this place at all seeing as I am owed $140 in over charges plus the money to replace our furniture. We got the insurance coverage but doubt it will pay out. If you get an outside unit which costs more they wont give you a gate code to be able to use their dumpster, which was necessary from the damaged items we had to just toss. read more

Let's just say if I could leave zero stars I would. We reserved a spot at 10:30 this morning. At 11 o'clock my husband finally called me wondering why no one was there. After making three phone calls and my husband finally being asked to go to somebody's apartment. (Which is nuts in its self. I mean who asks the customer to go wake the manager up?) My husband was then told by the man Who answered the door... That she (the manager) knew he was there but she still had to get dressed and there was nothing they could do. At 11:45 we were finally directed to another storage unit by the same people. This is 100% completely unacceptable. But unfortunately, we were stuck and desperate. And now are running way late. I could not be more unhappy. But alas I'll thank God that we at least got another unit. read more

Working with her to set up an appointment, go over the paperwork, check out the space, and get all the info I needed were all made simple, easy going, and were an unexpected pleasure. extreme dissatisfaction with public storage in Louisville. customer service rep was rude unprofessional and arrogant. without proper notice rent was increase 20%. told I must may the upcharge in order to receive 3 more months at normal rate. and 20% late fee. I called a month earlier. rent was 20% lower than normal on additional unit. they are very deceptive. 2021. 10x30. 130.00. 5 months 2022. 10x30 152.00. 12 months 2023. 10x30. 212.00. plus late fee new rental unit 10x30 123.00 plus one month free. ???? January 2023 ???? they got us for 100.00 extra bucks they lost us forever. 1800.00 a yr beware ! shame ! read more

I stored things here for around 2 years. The rates or pretty standard around the area, and they normally have sign up deals. It was easy to set up, my unit was a clean as I would expect a storage unit would be. Each time I had to deal with someone at the office, they were friendly and helpful. You can set up online bill pay which is nice and when you need to close out your unit, the process is quick and easy. read more

The customer filed the request on 3/15/2019 because she lost her keys. She was informed that the D/M is out of town and this would not be done until his return. Customer was given the option to get her a lock smith if she needed lock cut sooner. Ms. Hayden lock was cut on April 3, 2019 and she was notified on that day. Ms. Hayden wanted to be present during the lock cut, unfortunately since our District Managers have no schedule time to cut locks it is very hard to schedule for the customer to be there. At the time of cutting the lock we place an over-lock on the unit with a tag seal and notify them when it is done. This is to secure their unit until the customer come in with their lock to secure. ******************************************************************************************** I, Ms. Hayden was not given the option to call a locksmith. I also informed them My key was in my purse and my purse was in my car at the time it was stolen. I offered to show them the police report. I was not called, texted, emailed or mailed a letter being informed the DM was ready to cut my lock. Being a Veteran and two years, one would think a little empathy would be shown. They are not as military friendly as they claim to be. Communication​ is not as smooth as it should be. Several times the gate was opened for days due to malfunction. The area around our unit is very poorly lit and kind of scary after dark. The maneuverability in a large moving truck is also very poor. We were also surprised they provide no carts or dollies to help customers move large items. This is something we have had available at many other locations, they say it's due to theft, but surely they could develop a check out system to prevent this. There are also additional move in costs not articulated at the time of booking on the site, we ended up paying nearly double what we expected. The property manager was very friendly, the unit itself was as expected and clean. read more

Aleasha was very professional and courteous. The unit was clean and worked for my needs. I was fit in on short notice and I was moving things into my unit quickly. The facility is right off of 264, so it was very convenient. She made sure that I had all of the information that I needed and I left feeling content in knowing that my things will be safe and secure. If you are looking for long term, there may be cheaper options, but their one-month deal couldn't be beat. I recommend you bring your own lock, as otherwise it will cost an additional 20 dollars. read more
