Updated 7/2025 Interactions with staff are generally infrequent, but every time I have done so here, they've been very friendly, courteous, prompt, and professional. Pam has been a delight to work with. The physical property is easy to get around and very well maintained - better than other properties I have had storage at in the past. Its location is very convenient for me and I love the new app-based gate access. I am now a "three-peat' return customer and for Pam's customer service alone I'd recommend others come here! read more

Pam is absolutely wonderful and very friendly! This was the second time I've had to keep things in a storage unit and it was just as great the second time as the first! Definitely a little expensive, but it was in a convenient location so I felt like it was well worth it! Anytime and every-time she ever contacted me over the phone about anything regarding my unit/situation it was as if we had been friends for years! storage is storage, access is easy with phone app. wish I could acces a little later, (10:00) which would help. not happy that the monthly rent just went up $100, a 40% increase after a year is a little much, will be moving out by end of month, not worth it. read more

Slimy and dishonest - these people ripped me off. I should have known better when I first signed up at the end of July when they flat-out refused to rent me a unit unless I also purchased a lock from them at an inflated price. It's a fairly common scam storage places run, but most will back down when called out on it. Not these guys... but I was in a tough spot, had a van full of stuff in the parking lot, and needed a unit on short notice, so I signed up with them. Fast forward a bit, it's now time to cancel... On the third day this month I went in to cancel my storage unit, as I no longer needed to use it. Instead of pro-rating me the three days into the month I was using (as any other storage unit facility would do, and have done in the past) this place charged me for the ENTIRE month, and refused to let me in to collect my belongings until I had paid for an entire month even though I was cancelling 3 days in. Their excuse? They "don't do pro-rating". Except they pro-rated me a few days when I originally signed up at the end of July! I've had many different storage units at various times, but never any place as dishonest as here. Storage unit places are dime-a-dozen these days, so there is really no reason to do business with a place that employs nasty tactics such as this. read more

I had to move overseas and kept my things at Public Storage. I felt like my belongings were safe and this is a fantastic service. Wonderful friendly and knowledgeable staff. They really go out of their way to help. When my movers came that unlocked the gate so I wouldn't have to go back to punch the code in. This is a great place to store your stuff. Moved to CT from out of state and had to keep our belongings in storage until our house was ready. Pam, the property manager, made our move in so easy. We weren't sure what day we would be coming in but she kept in contact and provided the absolute BEST customer service. Price doesn't matter when you get A+ service. Extremely expensive. Will be moving soon. Just moved in six months ago and they have already increased monthly rent! Not impressed

I have been a business customer for several years. When I first moved in, things were fine. However, my price has been going up every month in an alarming way. After having issues with the gate being broken, the attendant being rude or not available, snow not being removed in a timely way, etc...I attempted to contact corporate. The call center people were not helpful so I asked to speak to a regional manager or a district manager. I was given both phone numbers. After multiple phone messages and no call back...ever, I am moving. I found a great place that offers me a yearly rental plan so I don't have to wonder what my rent will be next month. Buyer beware. I think short term, it might be fine. But if you are planning to stay awhile, look for somewhere else. They don't seem to encourage long-term customers who pay their bill on auto pay! read more

I used Public Storage for about a year while i was figuring out a long term housing situation. I had no problems or issues with the unit or any employees, One particular employee was actually amazing,(and i forgot her name) but she remembered my name every time i saw her and was exceptional at her job. I stopped using Public Storage because my new apartment has basement storage; Also in the last month my unit rent Increased around 20 to 30% compared to when i started, (which could be the case for other storage businesses.) If you shop around and the prices are similar, i would recommend Public Storage. Nothing negative to say, but nothing was amazing either, except some employees. read more

Do not rent a storage unit from this place. When I had called the 1-800 number to reserve a unit and explained my situation along with only needing the unit from July 29 to September 2, I was told as long as I had my items out by Sunday September 3 I would not owe any extra rent beyond the initial down payment. Then on the day I went in to rent the unit, the clerk lady informed me that I would have to pay a pro-rate from August 29th to September 2. So I reluctantly agreed and payed it on its due date as to cause no extra stress on my current situation. On September 2 when I went into the office after removing all my items I was now being informed by the clerk that I in fact only payed a pro-rate for the dates of July 29-July 31 and that I now owed more money. I informed her that this was not communicated to me and that I wanted the property manager contacted. An email was sent to the property manager. No communication back from the property manager and on September 6 I received an email from the general company stating that I owed rent for the whole month of September. I called the company and now I am being informed that they do not do a pro-rate, however I was able to pay one for the last 3 days of July that was supposed to pay me threw September 2nd. I was given the property managers number whom I left a voicemail for and waiting on a return call now for 3 days. Poor customer service and I am very unhappy with this company since I have been told something different from 4 employees. read more

My experience at this Public Storage location was extremely pleasant. I was hesitant about reserving a unit since it was my first time and I was very unfamiliar with the whole process. Reserving my unit online was a great first impression as navigating the website was so simple and user friendly. I received my "as-promised" phone call from Pam at the office within minutes, and booking my move-in date the same day was no problem at all. Two hours later, I was being led on a personal tour of my new unit. Pam's attitude was simply amazing, and she really helped to make my first-time experience smooth and stress-free. I am more than satisfied by the attention and genuine consideration my needs were given as I checked out the space and finally signed off on my rental. I also have to add how impressed I was when Pam personally checked all of the safety and physical features to ensure everything worked properly and I that would have no difficulties accessing my new unit. I definitely recommend Public Storage to anyone looking for a place they can trust with their belongings, especially at such an affordable price! read more
