First month $1 yeah right limited units only where does it say that ?

Don't even bother calling for the dollar moving special they play games . SUPER SCAM Bait a hook scam they pretend there's limited units only then they try to give you options in facilities they want . Try to switch you around to other facilities . Its like buying a used car from a slum lot Or having a slum lord. I had high hopes only to get destroyed. First month $1 yeah right limited units only where does it say that ? Solution : Lol to the owners of this corporation just book the appointment and give the $1 dollar promotion also mention the assessment fee of $29 That way you'll be transparent you definitely earn more business this way . Instead of being weasels and sneaking around for the old school switch and bait scam it's old . The people nowadays have a voice social media platform to let world know their experience

Very frustrating that they raise prices every 6-12 months after you move in. PS in the US offers no military discount but Public Storage in Canada does offer 10%. very discouraging!

Access to the unit could be better. It has limited hours. There are tons of homeless people around. It feels unsafe. They keep raising the price for the same unit.

The source: Someone storing laundry detergent in the unit above, in a large open tub with a leak. Refusing to clean it up or remove it.

I cannot recommend Public Storage due to the companies' refusal to follow its own contract. I must note that my interactions with the staff at this location have been excellent and I don't believe my experience is a reflection on their work. However, this company is screwed up. I've had A200, a 10x15 unit for over a year storing sensitive equipment and costumes. The unit directly above began dripping some green slime into my unit, all over costumes and equipment. Staff was notified and the tenant responsible was on site, carrying a large tub of green fluid. Tenant claimed the green sludge dripping through the floor of her unit was not hers, much to the surprise of two staff persons present. Note that the contract demands that NO LIQUIDS be stored in the unit. Local management has said the offending tenant will not return calls. And yet, no effort has been made to evict her. It was suggested, instead, that I move all my things to a new unit, without any mention of the labor this entails, the time, or expense. Flash forward a month later: I'm moving out. There's still green slime dripping from the ceiling into my unit. Public Storage offered a $20 credit when I asked them to cover $150 of dry cleaning. The sludge remains on the floor of my unit, preventing me from using a 4x4' area, and presenting a slipping hazard. I've been instructed to call "We Care" which is the help desk for Public Storage, and submitted my request: A 1/2 month refund to cover damages and our inability to use the unit. We're moving out. My request was declined, and despite assurances, I was not contact by any Public Storage person. We Care Indeed. ~~ Further: months before our rent was raised $150. This was above even the market rate for the currently available units of the same size at this facility. When I complained about this, no concessions were offered, except that I could move out, and then move back in to the lower priced, identical unit. This business is screwed up and local employees and manager apparently have no real authority to address customer complaints, even when they have agreed with me that the situation is ridiculous. AVOID Public Storage. There are many competitors in town: CubeSmart, ExtraSpace, A1, uHaul, etc., with better hours, easier access, and better policies protecting tenants. They might even care, just a bit.

I called in on the same day to learn more and the person on the other end patiently and kindly explained everything to me. Once I got there, even though it was in the last hour of open hours, the staff member helped me with all the paperwork and it was a quick process. I initially got a 5x5 for the first couple months but had to move up a size because i didn't realize how much more stuff I actually needed to store while being out of state. The transition was easy again aside from the actual moving. Luckily they offer carts for people to use, and I do wish they had more. Really puts things into perspective when you see all your stuff tetris-ed in a storage unit. I feel like I had a pretty good deal. I chose this location because it was close but it also had the best deal. I'm very pleased with my experience. Especially since I learned from my cousins experience what poor quality customer service looks like... yikes.

I was informed by Kettner Storage that my lock was allegedly loose, and without my authorization, they placed their own lock on my unit. While I understand security protocols are important, the way the situation was handled afterward was incredibly disappointing and unnecessarily difficult. I live far from the facility, and with the cost of gas and time, I sent my assistant to simply check the unit. Despite calling from the phone number listed on my account -- the same number they have previously used to contact me regarding payments and account information -- my assistant was denied access because they refused to provide the key to the lock THEY placed on my unit. After multiple calls with the supervisor, confirming my identity over the phone, acknowledging who I was, and having my account information in front of them, they still insisted I personally drive down with my physical ID to access my own belongings. What made this more frustrating was being told "not to take it personally," when the reality is that this caused a very personal inconvenience involving my time, travel, expenses, and stress. There were many reasonable solutions that could have been offered: * Allowing me to email a copy of my ID for verification * Adding my assistant temporarily to the account * Verifying identity through the account phone number and information already on file Instead, I was met with inflexibility and what I believe was dishonesty. I was later told that on April 16th I had allegedly been informed that I would need to appear in person with ID to access the unit. That conversation never happened. The discussion on that date was regarding adding my card to autopay. For people who store important belongings -- especially if you travel frequently, live far away, or may need emergency access through a trusted assistant or family member -- this is something to seriously consider. If a lock issue occurs and you cannot physically appear immediately, accessing your own belongings may become extremely difficult. Storage companies should not only provide security, but also professionalism, honesty, hospitality, and practical solutions for their customers. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. I truly wish I could leave zero stars, but one will have to do.

From day one, they took excellent care of the vehicle, kept it in great condition, and promptly alerted me to any minor issues that came up. Their communication was always clear and professional. When my storage needs ended, we worked out a mutually agreed-upon contract for AAAA Storage to sell the car on my behalf. They handled everything with remarkable professionalism--advertising, negotiating, and closing the deal far more effectively than I could have managed myself. They never delayed the process and actually accelerated a smooth, successful sale. This was a wonderful partnership from start to finish. I had no further need for the vehicle and won't be traveling back to San Diego, but I cannot recommend AAAA Storage highly enough. If you need reliable car storage (or related services), let Kevin and the team take care of you. They are an outstanding company, and I truly hope they continue to grow and thrive.

This year, as I was preparing to move I began to yelp around to find a storage unit complex that would meet my needs. I did not have to look far, the first place that popped up was this business! I said to myself, "hey, why not?" First, I called to inquire about how to get started and if I would be able to get a Dollie. I can not remember who I spoke to directly but she was extremely helpful. Later on that day, I went online just to see how big these units were and the pricing; there happened to be an online special going on for the unit size that I was searching for. I filled out all my information online & paid for my storage unit, it took me less than 10 minutes and I received confirmation in my email immediately. A few days passed by before I actually went into the office but when I finally did, I finished up paper work which consist of an agreement of what I can put in storage, a copy of my ID, and if I wanted another individual's name listed or not; the basic stuff. This is the first time I have ever rented a storage unit and so far it has been a very good experience for me. The ladies at the front office counters are extremely nice! I come in, sign in on the log with my name, time, and storage unit no. Then I am given the red keychain with the key that allows me to open my storage unit door (they're listed in Alphabetical Order then each door has a number assigned). After I am done, I proceed back to the office to return the key & check out. One time, there was a sign on the door that said "back in 5 minutes" I ended up dropping the red keychain with the key in the mail slot since there was also a sign that said I could do that. So far, I am very happy with the services here and I will continue to keep my belongings here as long as I need them to be in storage.

When you go to sign someone up on your storage, place them on your account, state that they are authorized to access your belongings and manage that account..... it does not mean anything!!!!! We lost the key to the storage right after we moved everything in as we were getting ready for a deployment, we were told by Maureen that we would be able to gain access to the storage no problem and she would even waive the 15.00 fee to open it up for us -one time only. All we had to do was call her ahead of time so that she could have the tools needed to open the lock. My son went to gain access (also was placed on the account) to the storage and the gal turned him away, not Maureen but another woman claiming not to know anything about this arrangement. Picture this- this was not a simple drive over, it is 100 degrees outside, you have a vehicle full of items that needed to go in and it is 40 minutes before they close. Also you are paying over 200.00 a month and for same strange reason, our name on the account means nothing? we cannot have access? What changed ? We are told we now have to have our service member send a copy of their id card to them. A fax copy. lets think about this now, while deployed over seas, who can easily do this? no one i know of. I mean floating n the middle of the gulf, send a fax... it is down right stupid. so this storage is being paid for and with no real resolutions to gaining access. What a huge disappointment as I recommended my family here. The only time they tried to rectify this was AFTER we closed the storage and AFTER i wrote this YELP, they could not give a far fig newton about this until then. I am embarrassed and disgusted the way this has turned out. The gal (Lori) that answered the phone tried to say that the law requires,, etc etc. Well then why would we waste time on adding people to the list of people able to handle the account and have access to the storage if it doesn't mean anything when we need to get access. I will not recommend this place EVER again and for the hassle I wont be coming back. As soon as our family member returned we got his things out of hostage from Super Storage, Poor business practice and they do not stand by their word. Nowadays may not seem like much to some people but to me it means more than my weight in gold.
