I cannot begin to express my gratitude and appreciation for the customer service that I received today from Keegan and Rosann!!! Publix management truly needs to recognize the phenomenal team they have with these two. I was in search for something that was on sale, buy one get one free however I found only one. Keegan Believed that there was quite a bit more which he found and brought to the cashier. Rosann meanwhile kept talking to us and made us feel that we were valued and the most important to her. Keegan went above and beyond the call of duty he wanted to ensure customer needs were met and he did that with a Smile. He was energetic enthusiastic and a phenomenal role model for customer service should be. I called management but I'm still gonna send an email to Publix because I want to make sure that Keegan and Rosann recognized these two stellar employees for their outstanding contribution to customer service. I wish they were more euphemisms I could say to describe my appreciation for these two.

This particular Publix is an older style Publix, but the service that sets Publix apart from their competitors is abundant at this location. I just had to grab some subs for a business meeting and the service was personable, prompt, and professional. They also went above and beyond by putting my three subs in one of their catering tray to make for a better presentation. Publix has become my go to for supermarkets and it is reasons like I mentioned above and more that makes me continue to go to Publix.

New York Cheesecake- Best Cheesecake for me!

We like going to Publix to buy their hot foods. I especially like their soup ang hubby swear by their subs sandwiches. Our favorite soups are chili and beans, and tomato and basil. Every time we go here, they always ran out of the lobster bisque. So when we finally get to try it, it was a huge disappointment:( It was not creamy and I can't taste the lobster :( Now let's talk about their cakes, breads and pastries. They are all good!! I have not tried anything that I don't like! Our favorite would be their New York Cheesecake. It's light, creamy, not too sweet, moist and very smooth! We can't get enough of them! And when I'm craving for bread, I always buy the Cranberry Walnut Artisan Loaf. It is dense, and heavenly! The crunchiness of the walnut combined with the tartness of the cranberry balances the flavor. It's addicting especially when you toast and spread it with butter! Yum! If you are on a diet then stay away from their hot food section and bakery! Lol!

    Turkey sandwich (with oregano).

Clean, but when I asked for salt and pepper, she accidentally put oregano on my turkey sandwich. She apologized and asked if she wanted me to brush it off. I told her it was no problem. She said she LOVED oregano on her turkey sandwich. I still curbed my enthusiasm. Short Version: I will no longer add oregano to my turkey sandwich--not that I ever did before. She was friendly, though, as was The Wing Lady. I asked The Wing Lady which wings were most popular. She pointed to two that were right next to each other and said one had a little spice and the other was garlicky. I think she also mentioned something about New Orleans. I asked her to split the wings so I could try both. One kind was indeed garlicky, but the other wasn't spicy and didn't remind me of New Orleans. A halfway decent option if you're traveling on 95 and need some lunch while near Jacksonville.

Publix consistently keeps a smile on my face. Everything just seems freshier at Publix, from the deli, to the produce even to their isle products. It makes it better that Publix stands by all of their products and will return or replace whatever isn't right without you having to jump through loops.

    So much to choose from

How have I never reviewed my local grocery store? I'm a slacker- but Publix never is. Always happy with customer service & just the friendly demeanor all of the staff project. This Publix is smaller than most & therefore laid out a bit different. I don't mind- you get used to it. I shop the sales. Produce, seafood & meat is always fresh! I'm addicted to the bakery! And who doesn't love Publix subs & their fried chicken? I can be in the parking lot & smell the fried chicken & derail my dinner plans because now I have a hankering for fried chicken! You know exactly what I'm talking about!

I love this Publix, just don't love the location. The parking area is cramped to me and you need to be very careful backing out of your parking space because cars speed through there and many pedestrians walking to and from, either Publix, CVS or the other stores in this small shopping center. As far as the inside of Publix is concerned, I have never had to wait in line for a long period of time because they usually have plenty of cashiers. The only time I had to wait for an extended period of time was right before Hurricane Irma was about to visit Florida, and even then, Publix was prepared and the line moved fairly quickly. I wish I was a "true" Yelper back when I was still eating chicken, because I would rate their fried chicken in the hot-food section a 5-Star! I remember it was seasoned and cooked very good! Their bakery reminds me of an upscale bakery shop back home. Large variety of goodies from cookies, cakes, pastries, pies etc! Since I am a self-proclaimed sweets connoisseur, I must say, their cakes, pies etc are actually pretty good. Not a plain taste like, sweet bread, but it has flavor to it. Not as tasty as homemade but definitely tastier than most grocery store bakeries. This Publix is the closest grocery store to where I live making it convenient and I would probably go here more often if it wasn't for the traffic that goes through here.

I feel like I'm always waiting in line forever at this Publix. Not to mention the parking lot is always a mess. And they are pretty inconsistent with coupon policies. Some cashier and managers make you pay the tax, some don't. Not sure what they deal is. Should have kept receipts. Pretty sure I read about something related to this in the last from a legal standpoint.

    Still waiting....

I'm usually here on my lunch when they are running a sale on the chicken tender subs. There's been two instances where my sub was not ready when I arrived after submitting an online order, when it should have been. The last time I decided to order my sandwich at the deli, it took almost 30 minutes for me to get a sub since they have two sandwich stations and one was solely used for online orders. It's ridiculous how they would fix one thing to create another issue. It takes them a good 5-10 minutes to churn out a sub and the lady only making subs for the online order is getting the stare from the folks that are in line. The deli managers Tatiana and David needs to get their ship together because they are not living up to the Publix standards. The Deli here sucks.

    Rhea P.

Ok, so I had parties all week and ordered helium balloons at several Publix stores in four different cities in Florida. Why was this the only one that did not have my order ready on time? Is it the Jacksonville curve? What am I do to with you Jax?

My son and I have been trying restaurants in this area and this was next on our list. Store was very clean, as I said before service was outstanding. Here's a list of the food we tried: Drink stand - not many selections, but they do have Coke products. Sweet tea - they have not perfected the taste of Southern sweet tea, but it was fine French fries - crisp crunchy exterior soft, interior, really well done. . Egg salad sandwich - it was just an egg salad sandwich, no better no worse than others, just fine . European Gyro - this was a normally euro stuff with french fries, it was a cool look in the dish was good. Overall, I wanted to love this place, and it was fine. But that's all it was was fine, they played it safe, they didn't try to spice up their menu or give you a number of unique specials. They just serve decent food at what I thought was a high price. For instance, my egg salad sandwich, and I'm an egg salad, lover, Fair but it was $13 without many side drink or chips. Most places, including Tidbits, which is one of their competitors, is less than $5. But I have to say they five other restaurants in this strip center, including the powerhouse Mexican food at El Castillo, Donato's Pizza, Mad o' Seafood, a Latino restaurant and Açaí Bowls. So if you're going to compete with these other restaurants, I think you need to go above and beyond. Maybe highlight Middle Eastern dishes, maybe makes egg salad with some curry powder, and don't charge so much for just plain sandwiches. I don't have any qualms about going back, but I also don't have anything to draw me back. That special dish or that special thing. And that seem to be the theme with the other people that came in. This was a first time visit for a lot of people , and a regular crowd just wasn't there. Maybe that is telling.

I was hosting family for Memorial Day weekend and wanted it to be special. I asked for six filet mignon cuts around 8-10 ounces. The gentlemen assisting was super friendly and took the time to ensure each cut met the specifications. He asked if I would like the filets seasoned. I had one visitor allergic to garlic, so he worked on five and another gentleman separated the other and provided a special seasoning without garlic. They made sure the items were separated and wrapped without question. Fast forward, I placed these bad boys on the grill and took them off at a temp of 145 degrees. I allowed them to finish cooking on the plate and had perfect medium filets to serve the guests. My mother-in-law went on and on for days into weeks claiming it's the best steak she's ever had (and she is very bouchée). Thank you, New York Butcher Shoppe.... The place is very busy so expect a little delay. The day we went card machine was not working great so a little bit of a longer line. Plenty of seats inside and outside. Tons of goofy things on the walls to look at while you wait for your sub. It's fairly bright inside. Ok on to the food. I ordered the Shane it was fantastic. I didn't realize it was a hot sub but it was still great! My wife order the 904 and as she ate it she started to cry because of how good it was and the fact that we are moving away. We also order the fry/tater tot combo! So dam good! Ask for the fry sauce!!!!!!! Tons of drink options including beer!!!!! I also had the banana pudding not the best I have ever had but pretty dang good. 4.2 out of 5 for banana pudding. I don't give out 5 stars often so you know this place is legit!!

It was a first time visit for both of us. I told the young lady neither of us had been there before and she offered to run through the menu for us which was great. I loved that. She described "The Peruvian" as (her words) "meat heavy". I've heard amazing things in the past about the Peruvian sauce, so that is what I landed on and chose to have it on their onion roll. Hubby went with the "Angie's Philly". I want to preface this with my husband and I had complete opposite opinions and you're going to hear about both of them. For me: When I heard the words "meat heavy" I did expect a larger than normal amount of meat, and maybe thats on me, or a lost in translation example, because in my mind this is not "meat heavy". HOWEVER, before you start angry typing, I REALLY enjoyed my sandwich. It was absolutely delicious and at one point (which I will touch on further down) I looked at my husband and said "Yeah... this is so much better than Larry's". I even put a little extra Peruvian sauce on it while devouring it. The bread was toasted perfectly, had GREAT flavor. I could have easily had a second (or maybe double meat? ) Anyways, zero co.plaints except for the lost in translation expectation. I hope that makes sense. Now, for my husband, who is extremely difficult to please. At first, when our sandwiches were delivered to the table, he was given someone else's sandwich and he ended up having to send it back and wait on his, while I started on mine. Whatever, mistakes happen, shit happens, and we weren't in any kind of rush, so no biggie. When his sandwich arrived and he began to eat it, he was disappointed. He said it doesn't taste like they season the meat at all and it felt bland. He noted that the cheese was melted on top and could have used more cheese chopped and grilled in the meat along with more mayonnaise. He's picky. About halfway though, he said he'd give it a 3 out of 5. Then began to finish the second half and apparently bit into some areas that were burnt and overcooked and dropped it to a 2.5. He said it wasn't bad enough not to complain or send back but not good enough to write home about. So that's the take for today's visit. We would both (especially me) try them out again in the future, and I personally can see why they're so loved.
