I have been ordering groceries here for delivery. And I always pay for the delivery. So high but I do anyway Then instacart charged me $99 for subscription. I did not sign for it. So I called my bank to reverse and give me a refund. I had to call instacart . They said they will reverse Why on earth would they charge me for subscription when I didn't authorize it is beyond me. I'm usually super happy with everything at this Publix. I occasionally will ask for $25 cash back because I am writing a check. I have done this at this Publix and every Publix since they all opened here. I have been going to this particular Publix since it open and before that the Albertsons that was there before. So today I asked for $25 cash back. The cashier was having a problem getting it to go through. She called over the assistant manager or whatever she is named Caitlin. I was told there is now a fee. So basically Publix stole $4 from me. Had I'd been told I could only get $20 by writing a check, that's all I would have asked for back. But instead I was not made aware and basically lost $4. I think it was a terrible thing to do. I should have been told that it had been changed. Not have my $4 stolen from me. read more

Publix - Grocery Near Me - Largo, Florida

Another Publix review as I happened to see this location since I was headed to the Pie Factory for a pick up. So this Publix is not as large as others I have gone to but needless to say, the staff is very friendly and welcoming as usual. For that, they'll continue to have my business. Also all the employees were wearing masks which is a huge plus in my book. Their selection is plentiful and their produce was fresh. No beefs here whatsoever. We visit Largo several times a year from Minnesota! We love this grocery store and the overall appearance and selection. The staff is friendly and deli subs are our favorite! Unplanned but also had the pleasure of picking up a prescription at the pharmacy. Unfortunately I didn't catch the pharmacist name but he was hands down super nice and helpful. I even called back next day with questions and he was very informative and took the time to explain everything in detail. Great customer service. read more

Unfortunately Stephanie was bagging poorly , not paying attention and bags were already breaking . I went a took a good 5 or 6 bags to just fix it in the car , she I a harsh accusatory tone that " we don't let people take bags " I was beyond embarrassed, of course I placed them in front of her a explained that they were for double bagging what she was doing , she sayd that she would double bag , then I get to the car and the first bag I take breaks , he too two bags with heavy detergent and glass were not double bagged , so she embarrassed me for trying to finish her job , then I had to go back and ask her for Teo bags , she very unnecessarily and sarcastically said gave a great night , not going back read more

This update is in regards only to the pharmacy. Publix pharmacy is very hit and miss as far as service is concerned. They like to write their own rules, and march to their own drum. Where I have other prescriptions filled by another publix pharmacy on an auto refill every 21 days. This pharmacy gives some song and dance about not being able to fill a 30 day script every 21 days. Although the prescription insurance covers this, and acknowledges that the scripts should be filled early, as to not run out of medications, this pharmacy refuses to fill on that type of schedule. And due to the fact they refuse to keep my prescription in stock and must order it each time it is filled; they set up the auto refill every thirty days. And the system will notify me that the medication was ordered and will be available in 8 days. This in my thought process means the meds will be at least a week short each month. Silly pharmacists. They think most of the general public has no idea what they are talking about. Maybe they should not try to pull something on a healthcare worker of over 20 years. I understand medications, pharmacy rules, medication prescription rules, and insurance policies. I will thoroughly investigate what is allowed and what is usual and customary prior to even asking. I will not try to push the limits, only ask for the reasonable time frame. It is not uncommon for medications to be filled every three weeks for a one month supply. This covers the need to get to the pharmacy and pick up prescriptions or other unforeseen circumstances that could delay filling or retrieving the medication. I switched all of my prescriptions to this pharmacy at my physicians request as we both had issues with CVS in the past. I must say with CVS, the only problem was getting initial scripts filled. Once they were started and auto fill was turned on, they filled them constantly. Always early and always ready. No need to go chasing down my physician or a pharmacist to get the script filled prior to running out. Now mind you I only really take 3-5 scripts on a regular basis. So I'm not asking to move the earth. Just make sure the medications are available and filled so that I don't go weeks without. As recently I was about to leave town for over a week. I placed my order for refill three days prior to leaving town. On the day prior to leaving town, two of my scripts were not available. Had to be ordered. Would be available the next day after two. My flight leaves the next day at two. So you can see the issue. And I was out of meds for the entire trip. Now the pharmacy employees at Publix seem not to mind so much that you will run out of your scripts. They are not interested in the fact that you have researched and found the cheapest way to obtain your medications. They just want to sell you meds at the inflated Publix pharmacy prices. If you insist on finding the cheapest way, it seems to overwhelming for them to comprehend. I hated CVS, and now am beginning to very much dislike Publix pharmacy as well. I would say don't waste your time. If you don't already do business with them, find a different pharmacy. I hope to find that this pharmacy improves. However if I can not get better results after my next physician appointment in 3 months, I will insist on finding a different pharm at that time. Such a waste of my time to have to go over and over to attempt to pick up prescriptions. The process should be so easy, and yet it is constantly complicated by those that are only cogs in the wheel. They don't make the rules or guidelines, only follow them. However they seem to want to make their own rules, and make all others follow their ideas. Again, I would just advise, stay away. find another place to do business. read more

This location stands out from the other locations for sure! It seems larger, cleaner and carries fresher food and certain beautiful beach products I don't see in the other stores. It's also pretty quick to get through the lines here. read more

This Publix is the worst in the area. I ordered online to pick up lunch meat at the deli and it's never ready on time. Twice I've ordered and ended up leaving without what I ordered. Go to any other Publix in the area, avoid this one with its rude and unhelpful employees at all cost! read more

The Publix pharmacy at this location has been exceedingly helpful and professional in assisting us in resolving an issue we had with our insurance. Brianna went beyond what we would have expected and has resolved the issue for us. We have found this to be true for the store, in general. THIS EXPERIENCE WAS "SECOND TO NONE !!!" P#16 09/17 "So, LISA, you must have thought that you could stay low key in a Deli setting forever, right??? It looks like a pretty comfortable setting for a person who is as polished as you are at what you do. It's obvious that you have been slicing behind the Deli counter for years, and it seems to be very comfortable for you. But, I am sorry. I am going to have to blow your cover." You see, my wife and I visited the Publix at 13031 Walsingham Road in Largo on August 24th, for the first time ever, since they had only been open for a week or so. The attitudes of the employees who we came in contact with were all very impressive. But the employee who really "stood out in the crowd," at least for us, was LISA behind the deli counter. After conversing with her for just a few minutes, I felt that she should be the "Master of Ceremonies," if there is such a position. I felt like she should be in FRONT of the counter, or positioned up front some where so that all of your customers would have the opportunity to bump into her, because THIS EXPERIENCE WAS "SECOND TO NONE !!!" Grading her demeanor would be a "piece of cake." As an ENTERTAINER, I would rate her as being a "Game show host." On a SHARP & FRIENDLY rating, I would rate her as being a "News anchor." And, on a CORDIAL rating, I would hope that she would be starring in your Publix television commercials. Need I say more??? After searching through 29 stores inside of 60 days, I found Wendy in the bakery at the 200 37th Avenue store, who was extraordinary!! And continuing my search for the balance of 90 days inside of 38 Publix stores, I bumped into LISA. And, "YES Lisa, I do get around!!! My hobby is searching for employees who are amazing from the customers point of view, and lady, you are off the charts!!! I write to Publix and other companies each time that I encounter an employee of theirs who is amazing. And Lisa, you even totally impressed my wife which would normally be a pipe dream!! The Queen of Sheba could probably not impress her. But, my wife was talking about you all the way home. After that I knew that I had to get warm and fuzzy, and fair, in investing the time to write this letter. Publix needs to know that one day, like Flo with Progressive Insurance, that your face/personality may become a billboard phenomena!!!
