    Meatloaf and beer

This is a very nice quaintcplace. Maybe 10 tables! The dinning room is all light hard wood enhanced with the occasional coo coo clock going off. The service is very good and extremely friendly. The have a mix of bottle and draft beer. I tried the drafts with second asking the servers choice which was a crisp delicate beef. The entree, as expected, was very filling. I had the meatloaf special with a deep Brown gravy, mashed potato, and mixed vegetable. Except for a little salt on vegetables it was exactly as I wanted. The starter was a goulash rich in beef and potatoes with a tomato base. Very well balanced. Give this place a try.

Delish weiner schnitzel & very friendly, welcoming service. Will go back next time I'm in Largo!

OK so we just came back from having a wonderful dinner at this place, first time there and was recommended by a fellow yelper. To start with when you walk into the place you noticed right away that it's extremely clean and very quaint, kind of cozy, and we were welcomed by the hostess/ waitress. It's a very small place and it looks like it's typically a one seating type of restaurant with not a lot of tables being turned, but that's a good thing and helps with it being quaint. Our waitress was fantastic, from helping us decide on a bottle of wine or what types of beers, she brought us out samples before we decided, she helped us with appetizers and main courses and also desserts. As far as food is concerned it was spot on, I had the chefs signature pork tenderloin with a brown gravy and mushrooms that was excellent, my wife had sauerbraten which was perfect. The bread they served before the meal which was a pretzel bread with a garlic herb butter was fantastic, the appetizers were excellent, and they have the best apple strudel I ever had in my entire life for dessert. I will definitely be going back there, we had reservations although it was not very busy that night but I understand it gets very busy at times and reservations would be a good thing as the place is quite small. All this added up to me deserves five stars as they hit the nail on the head across the board.

The bread comes with an amazing spread!

Ok, I don't know what to say except my daughter's comment "I am so happy right now. ." Great service, nice cozy atmosphere, reasonable prices, our waitress Lori was wonderful, and I could gush on and on. Pay this restaurant a visit, your taste buds will thank you.

Zero stars. Waited 30 minutes in an empty place and no service. Will never return. There are no other words....

The veal was incredibly tender, and the gravy was packed with flavor. It was a satisfying entrée that came with two sides. For my sides, I chose the pierogies and spätzle. The pierogies were honestly my favorite part of the meal. They were fluffy, cheesy, and generously filled. So delicious. I could have eaten a whole plate of just those. The spätzle was soft and well prepared, but compared to everything else, I found it a little boring. The restaurant itself is very cute and has a lot of character. I loved browsing the selection of German snacks, candy, and other imported items available for purchase. It added to the overall experience and made the place feel unique. While I'm not that familiar with German food, I thought this was a pretty good restaurant. Overall, I found German cuisine a little more muted than what I'm personally used to, but I still really enjoyed the meal and the experience. I'd be interested in trying more of the menu.

I had such high hopes for this place. :( The selection is very limited and perhaps I missed something (entirely possible), but I did not see a price list for the deli case. We did find a unique assortment of other German products- some we haven't seen in many years. The restaurant portion was quite busy and the customers looked happy. We were flooded with nostalgia and left in hopes of dining in on a less-busy day. I ordered two meats, including the German bologna. During the drive home, my family and I noticed a terrible odor-- the kind where we started pointing fingers at one another. We never suspected that the package from the deli was the source. When we opened it at home, a nauseatingly funky, ammonia-type smell came from the German bologna. While the liverwurst smelled okay, I could not trust it after the bologna and decided against keeping it. Wasted time and money. Dang! The staff is super nice and that was truly a plus. However, I doubt we will be back. My family is very bummed over this.

The decor did make us feel like we were somewhere in Germany. My partner ordered a beer and we looked over the menu. I decided on the chicken schnitzel and Spatzle. Unfortunately our waiter said they were out of Spatzle. He told us they were out of all sides besides potatoe salad and french fries. My partner attempted to order the pork spatzle and was told they were out of it along with a few other dishes. This was disappointing, we wished our waiter had told us this when we sat down instead of after deciding. Our food was delicious, and if I lived in town I would definitely be back. I recommend not taking the last reservation time to avoid them selling out of many things. Our waiter told us this happens on most weekends.

Once again had a fantastic dinner and even sat at the very same table. Couldn't pass up the German pretzel and their 2 mustards office were fantastic with both a spicy and sweet taste for each. For dinner I went with the steak coated with a mustard coating and it was cooked perfect and so juicy. Love the fact they have a smaller menu and you can see that works for them. I would totally suggest giving this place a try
