I've been shoping at Publix for the the last 12 years since i moved to the South. I'm starting to think about shopping elsewhere, the reason I shop at the same one and I'm there two to three times a week if not more. Same cashers and everytime I hand them cash twenty or more they half to swip it for counterfeit. This is getting really old they know who I am and yet they say it's store policy. If Publix doesn't have the faith in there regular costumers then I'm about done handing over my money to a company that doesn't trust its locals read more

We have been shopping at the Publix on Memorial since they opened the store. I have found it to be consistently clean, organized, and extremely well staffed. The folks that work at Publix are always friendly and helpful. There is a really good vibe at Publix compared to other nearby grocery store choices. That is with the employees as well as the shoppers. It's just a nicer place to shop! read more

Publix used to be an awesome grocery store. The prices now are outrageous, half of what is offered on their weekly sales are not in the store when looking for them, but for sure the higher priced option is. I bought honey for $13 in a tiny little jar that I get for the same price but double the size of the bottle at BJs. Everything is overpriced. Their website for ordering delivery messes up now every time I try it. I select a store, sign in to publix and instacart. Fill up my cart and go to check out and it bounces back to somewhere else and I have to start my shopping all over again. The website is really messed up. So frustrating. Last time I just ordered from Walmart. With all of the hassles, it takes me two hours to order groceries. Not a happy customer. read more

Grocery store is very clean, bright, and well organized. I have five grocery stores I can use within two miles and this is my go to. The staff is helpful and extremely friendly. I've been using this store for a few years, not sure why I haven't reviewed it yet, and have never seen a disrespectful employee. The store is well organized and has a department to cover pretty much anything you may need. The shelves are always neat and orderly with product lined up at the front of the shelf. They bake their bread on-site which seems to be getting more rare these days. It is great bread as well. They have a small prepared food area that has chicken wings and tenders. They are both good. You can also get a freshly made sub. There are organic selections of produce, meats, eggs, milk and other. There are also many choices of non-dairy milk. This is where I shop and will in the future. read more

The customer service is far superior to the other grocery stores nearby and they cut up their own fresh fruit, which is a major plus! While others say it is more expensive, I find that the produce is better and the bogo offers are always excellent. Frankly I don't see any major difference in my grocery bill between the "other chain" and Publix for the items that I buy. Being treated with respect goes a long way in increasing customer loyalty, including mine. read more

Perfectly adequate for daily shopping, but prices are steeper than Kroger, so if you just need canned goods or everyday items, go to Kroger. The service is what separates this chain from others. Everyone that works here is glad to help you find what you need or help you in any other way. The meat selection is better than average also. read more

Publix - False labeling - Grocery Near Me - Murfreesboro, Tennessee

Having been a long time Kroger client- we have recently switched to Publix on Memorial. The staff are super friendly and eager to help. Today 6 different staff asked if we needed help in finding anything. The store is very clean- each time we have been there- staff are always arranging and straightening the shelves. The carts all work properly and are also very clean. Their meats and poultry are excellent and their bakery items are on the same level as a specialty bakery shop. Publix has a great selection- though maybe a bit more pricey than Kroger on some items- the environment and kindness of the staff make the difference in price worth it. read more

EXCELLENT SERVICE!!! I arrived at the store at 10:07pm today to pick up a sub tray I ordered earlier for after-prom. I made a bad assumption and assumed the store closed at 11pm and not 10pm! I called because I won't need the tray tomorrow but I didn't want the tray to go to waste either. I spoke with someone in the deli who said a manager would have to ok things. I had her transfer me to the Customer Service desk who then connected with a manager. I explained my situation to the manager Kim, and without hesitation she allowed me to come inside and get the tray!!! I was in and out within 5 minutes. I truly appreciate her going above and beyond to assist me because she didn't have to! read more

I like this Publix. They have very nice workers and the store is very clean. I love the selection of Publix brand products and specialty items. My only problem with this store is that the produce section is relatively small and short on selection. What they have is nice, but doesn't give a lot of options. The prices here are a little higher than other stores but it pays off with the cleanliness and service. read more

The people that work here are always so helpful. They always go out of there way to show me where something is or to answer any of my questions. Their prices are a little higher but if you watch the sales, especially their bogo sales then it is definitely worth shopping here. This place rocks! The fresh samples cooked in front of you by a friendly employee just before you get to the deli area are the best. The bread bakery lady is so nice to every customer who walks by her area. She's always ready to help you find what you need & goes out of her way to help you. The sushi area is always stocked & clean. The meat department is overly helpful. The customer service people are always nice & the management must treat their employees well cause no one ever has a bad attitude. And everyone knows that the attitude of that w employees is a reflection of the management. I've seen the manager before & she always has a smile on her face & is VERY approachable. We just recently moved here. I loved Ablertsons on the west coast and I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to find somewhere as good as them, but the Publix on Memorial Blvd not only met, but exceeded my expectations! The customer service at the Publix is amazing. The store is always very clean and well stocked. I love the recipes and samples that Publix provides, as well as the employees that works at the stand. Several times I have not been able to find a certain thing and there are always associates able to help me locate items. Publix always has great sales and buy on get one opportunities. Their produce is always fresh and clean. The cashiers are quick and friendly, as well as the baggers. They always me out to the car, which is extremely helpful, because it is hard to get 2 kids in the car and return the cart to it's appropriate place. I have shopped at the Publix in Smyrna as well, but it just doesn't seem as warm and inviting as the one on Memorial Blvd. I can say that Publix is the only place I shop for my groceries and I have recommended them to everyone I know!! read more

Today was one of the worse experience ever I just got yelled at by a store manager aka Jennifer which I had nothing to do with the shopping trip. My coworker had saw a stuffed animal placed in the wrong spot and had asked a store manager if she would honor the price but she said no and then turned to me and tell me that I always come here and get everything for cheap. Just cause I coupon here doesn't mean that I was trying to get the stuff animal for cheap I didn't even plan on buying anything! And when I have a question about coupon policy I go to her and ask her first but today she busted out yelling at me infront of my coworker like I'm a criminal. And she also said to me one time to never call corporate and talk to her only. This is unacceptable and I told her I would call corporate after she yelled at me and said that she already did and that if I ever step foot in publix that she would put me as trespassing and call the police on me when clearly I didn't do anything wrong. Making up fake statements to the property manager that I try to break into the break room and going in area I am not suppose to. This publix needs to be reviewed over for who works here and who doesn't. She takes her problem she had with someone else out on me and the rest of my coworkers. Employees are "coached" to greet and address everyone passing down the aisle they are working in and by the check-out lanes. They will look up from what they are doing or pursue you down an aisle to ask if you are "finding everything okay," or "how is your day going?" over and over again in a single shopping trip. Unless they have a check out customer, cashiers will stand in the main aisle and stare at the shoppers, jumping in to assert questions as you approach. At first it seems friendly, then monotonous, and after you've shopped there more than a few times, just aggressive and irritating. It's way too much. When it's not crowded, expect to entertain employees with small talk on each aisle. Literally. Even if you avoid eye contact or are busy comparing nutrition labels on cans, you will be repeatedly approached and interrupted with offers of "help" or "how are you today" or "are you finding everything you need" over and over again. It isn't helpful or friendly. It's a grocery store, not a clothing boutique. Publix, let people have some space to study their shopping lists, compare labels, and plan their family's meals. We are all very aware of the customer service desk prominently located at the entrance, and we promise to reach out if we have a question or can't find something! read more
