My psychiatrist called in a prescription 8 days ago for me to pick up before my trip to the UK. I was told on Wednesday by someone at this pharmacy that I couldn't pick it up until Thursday. It's Saturday. My flight leaves in 6 hours and they are refusing to fill my prescription. I will be without my medication that I need while traveling internationally because Wafeek refused to do his job. He was also very rude and condescending to me while I was trying to get him or anyone there to fill my prescription. read more

I've waited for a few months before writing this review. I have always loved Publix and their commitment to quality and customer service, but this one is falling short- multiple occasions. If the review was strictly for the cashiers and baggers it would be a 1. If it was for the Deli and Bakery staff, it would be a 5. Clearly whoever is supposed to be selecting and training the front end staff is not doing their job or not holding them accountable. I was there yesterday and went through the checkout. The cashier said not one word to me, looked like she would have rather been having a root canal then be at work. not the standard " you find everything you needed?"- nothing and meanwhile there were others who I assume were supervisors yelling employees names across the store. I didn't see the guy that is usually supervising up front. He's always very friendly. I even said to the cashier "are you having a bad day? " it's just incredibly disappointing for a company that has such a good reputation. This is the third time this has happened there and the second with this same cashier. The guy bagging the groceries was not any better and although I had a full cart- not one offer to take it to my car. Now the deli was amazing. Even though they were slammed with customers, they could not have been nicer and more apologetic for the wait. The lady with the British accent is a gem! Always so friendly and welcoming. I hope they fix their front end issues. It's just not up to Publix standards and they will absolutely lose business because if people want to have a mediocre experience, they can shop elsewhere. read more

This Publix has a smaller selection but has a great pharmacy staff, is clean, well stocked and has very kind staff. Recently left my iPhone here and was very happy to have the staff know about it immediately and return it - it is great knowing the team here cares and values their customers. Thank you. read more

Jamaal in the deli is THE greatest sub maker!! He started by rolling the roast beef with bell peppers in the middle, dowsing them in seasoned virgin olive oil, he proceeded to heat it up. He cut the wheat sub precisely and delicately. Afterward placing mayo on one side, my boyfriend asked him to put some on both sides for me. So nice :) Jamaal put two slices of provolone cheese down on one side then put the heated seasoned roast beef w/bell pepper on it. He asked if we wanted it toasted we said yeahhhh. He put on several more slices of provolone and heat that thang up. That was the best sandwich I've ever had!! Thank you Jamaal, have a blessed life sir! read more

Really disappointed in this Publix. My 92 year old mother went to the deli counter on Sunday, waited her turn for service and was ignored by three people behind the counter doing nothing. She finally left and purchased a packaged meat that was horrible. She went to another grocery store across the street and found excellent, friendly service at the deli counter. Needless to say, she won't be back since it's hard for her to get out. I've been to the same Publix and practically had to beg them to make 3 sandwiches. Visited this Publix this evening. Two of the self check outs were opened so my wife and I approached the nearest one. At that moment, the young lady managing the self checkout area stormed up to us saying can't you see I've got things going on here (at that specific self checkout machine)! And to be clear, no, we couldn't see she had "something going on" since it was open and available and the green light was on. She was clearly exasperated and angry. She proceeded to curse at us. My wife and I had no idea what was going on so we quietly moved to the next self checkout. I can understand getting angry at work, but to lose control and lash out at customers like that is way out of bounds. read more

I was a bit shocked at this. Went to pick up my medicine at the drive thru this evening. No one was at the window so I pressed the call button. After that immediately someone came to assist, however I was told not to press the call button because there are censors to notify them. Look I get it, however I waited so I pressed it after waiting 5 minutes. Publix is great for their customer service and having great positive energy in the stores, however this was our first time with this type of attitude. I don't feel that it was appropriate to tell a customer to not to use the 'call button'. read more

Really nice grocery store to have in the area. Staff is friendly and accommodating, which is refreshing in a time at which customer service is a lost art. You can find good deals on freshly-prepared food that makes for a nice quick meal. Only downside is prices on everyday groceries are high. Also they have a balloon station. read more

The store is very dated and the people aren't as friendly as other stores. I would give my right arm to not have to go to Kroger's across the street for everything! I just moved to that area and was expecting it to be heads above the Antioch store. NOT!!! The Antioch store, the people are so friendly and helpful. They are standing at the end of the aisles with food samples and smiles.The Brentwood store, you can't find a soul to help you with anything. The store layout is crazy and not user friendly at all. As the mother of two boys, I pretty much live here. ha! It's the closest to my home, therefore it get most of my grocery business. It's definitely pricier than many other grocery chains (crazy high prices on cheese and sodas), but they also offer some items that are difficult for me to find at other chains - such as the large Bounty select-a-size paper towels, and the various pre-chopped items (like onions, celery and peppers). I really appreciate the drive-thru pharmacy and find the staff of that department to be super friendly and helpful. I wish that they would carry Stokely's canned goods, among other things. It's also kind of frustrating that this location doesn't seem to be geared towards families as much as others. For instance, they put the family size chip bags (like fritos and tostitos) way in the center of the aisle display, rather than at the beginning next to the regular sized bags of the same. And, they don't seem to stock enough...they frequently run out of products...milk, boneless chicken breasts, steaks, and their prepared meats (seasoned, etc...not cooked). Despite these complaints, they are friendly, and as I said...convenient! Plus, I think they are much cleaner and nicer since the flood...and definitely cleaner than the nearby Kroger. read more

As long as it's clean and they are not price-gouging...for the most part, a grocery store is a grocery store...pretty ordinary. There are some that break that mold (Byerly's in MN springs to mind). Publix does a great job at training and reward their people for REAL enthusiasm and friendliness. Not the fake kind you sometimes get ("can I help you" as they are running in the other direction). The Publix employees look you in the eye and do their best to answer questions. They also have a kick-a$$ bakery at this location. The downside - it's very hard to get out of the parking lot -- at certain times of day, the traffic on N'ville Rd makes it impossible to turn left. I find myself going to Kroger (across the street) just because there are lights into that shopping center. read more

I like Publix, you can find items you can't find other places and, although prices are high compared to other grocery retailers, when they have a sale,. the sales are great. I use this pharmacy and scheduled my vaccine here. This review if for that experience which would get only 1 star. Imagine my horror when I went to the pharmacy and found no privacy. Chairs were set up, with vaccine signs, right there in the open. The shot would be given right out in the open. They could have at least invested in a screen or set up off to the side where no one goes or looks anyway. I drove around and found another provider that offered an acceptable spot to dispense the vaccine. I did see another Publix that was the same way. I didn't think of getting a photo, but I will the next time I'm in the store. read more

I'm a Publix shopper. But this Publix is the most rudest Publix I've ever been to in my life. I have never been greeted, I've never received help to my car. When you asked someone for help they act like their scared to help me. I've never experienced nothing like it at any other one. All employees need to be trained all over again. read more

I'm a huge fan of Publix. Living in Florida, it was the only grocery store where our family would shop. Upon moving to the Nashville area, I was thrilled to find Publix in Cool Springs, about 15 minutes from home. Then, one day I received great news- they were building a Publix right near my neighborhood, on Nolensville Road! We've been shopping here every week ever since they opened. The store is clean and well-organized and the staff is just perfectly friendly and helpful. The deli sandwiches are better than any sub shop, with fresh baked rolls and Boar's Head meats and cheese. The bakery is also amazing. The produce department does a good job of keeping supplies fresh and well-stocked. The International Foods selection isn't great, but there are excellent local specialty stores for those items. Food costs have skyrocketed, and regular prices for meat and dairy seem high ($4.29/lb ground beef, $2/dozen eggs, $4/lb butter), but they do have good sales. I shop the sales and buy those items in bulk to keep within our food budget. read more

I love going to Publix for their products but I cannot understand why this location does not know how to bag groceries. I have escalated to two different managers. Sent an email to home office with no responses yet. I politely Asked bag people to not overload the bags. But even today...6 peaches and 9 apples in the same bag. The cashier slammed my apples around so now they are all bruised. 5 bags of frozen green beans larger sizes bags all squished together in one bag. Some of this is common sense! Please for the love of unbruised fruit and bags that I can actually carry without breaking learn to Bag groceries or let me do it myself! read more

Love this place I come frequently here for their deli for hot and cold subs and the prices are really good compared to other franchise subs around.. I have found my sub joint, their tea you can buy there like the pomergrante orange red tea is amazing .... I am so glad I live and work near here.... They have the best service around... Oh ya my favriote store of all times!! P.s if u want a sub u can call in advance and leave them your name ... Thank you very much for not selling me loaves of bread from the deli section, you just saved me $75 in groceries... Pretty pathetic how four dollars is going to wind up costing your store over $10,000 a year. As much as I love (d) Publix for the past 25 years, this policy of not offering deli rolls (which taste much better than the same loaves in the bakery) for purchase is short-sided and ignorant. I worked here for two years. Publix is nowhere near as nice as a Whole Foods for example, but it way better than Kroger. The people here are great, I should know, they were my friends. Their jobs are HARD and they are underpaid! So treat them with respect, patience, and kindness. read more

This was my favorite grocery store until they remodeled and raised prices on everything. (some items are a dollar more than Kroger) The customer service is down also. Today, I asked the butcher to cut a prime rib down to 4-5 lbs so that 2 people would not have to consume an 8 pound roast. He said no .. something about the bone being too tough to cut. ( thought butchers had tools for cutting..like knives! ) i did some other shopping and at the advice of some friends, went back to ask again. IF it hadn't have been for a support team of other customers making comments, i wouldn't have gotten it done. Others in line had special requests too. He finally gave in and cut it in half but then charged extra.. Half of a $42 dollar roast ended at $32 dollars? The customer behind me asked him to cut a loin in half and the butcher actually frowned. He told him that the cut price is more expensive.. i also stopped to see what they were cooking and asked the lady serving if it had cheese... she rudely pointed down and said, "it's all down there.. everything you need to know" I looked down at wherever she was pointing and there was nothing posted.. Maybe it was too much to ask her...she seemed so stressed just standing around, waiting to serve someone . :) Bakery dept was very friendly and helpful and so was the cashier.
