Bought my normal breakfast sausages and saw later that they were 2 months expired... so gross and inconvenient

Located in the Northridge Shopping Center, this Publix is large and clean with organized aisles. Many people were around shopping, but it didn't feel crowded. Satisfactory customer service. Had the same enjoyable shopping experience here as I do at every other Publix supermarket I have been to. Though the prices are little higher, their products are always fresh and in stock.

This is a very poorly managed store. I had to stop buying perishable food there because it was spoiled on a regular basis. Fresh fruits and vegetables always have rotten produce in them, dairy is good most of the time but you'll get spoiled products once in a while that aren't outdated and the meat department is a disaster. The chicken is spoiled and inedible at least 25% of the time and the bathrooms are always dirty. I've never been to such a poorly managed Publix.

As all Publix stores are not all same, I've found them worth a review. The range of their stores covers from what I believe is their largest most spacious flagship located on Cordova Road to their older smaller ones like that on Dixie Highway in Wilton Manors that would seem to be more a grocery store than a super market. Besides the amount of inventory and selections, one of the things that differentiates them is aisle space. Unlike the Publix in Wilton Manors, and though the inventory selection is bigger, the most outstanding feature here is aisle space; easily twice as wide. So, shopping here is easy. You don't have to navigate around detouring yourself because an aisle gets completely shut off by someone with a large cart in the process of restocking. Other than that, a Publix is pretty much a Publix and if you've seen one, you've generally seen them all.

3.5 stars... for their wretched selection of wines and champagne - which were relegated to the ends of aisles and about 1/3 of a row. When we asked whether a BevMo was somewhere close, we were directed to another Publix in Ft. Lauderdale which supposedly had "4 rows of wines." But they have a nice selection of croquetas, empanadas and yummy yucca logs stuffed with meat. 6 croquetas, 2 empanadas and 1 yucca log ran us about $5.97 and made for a very satisfying if somewhat greasy finger breakfast for two on the road.

They didn't have the one item I went for, but Albertsons across the street did. Oh well. Publix is still the best supermarket around! :-)

The guy who helped us with the masks was friendly, funny and very nice. When he gave me my 3 free masks, he said "It's $15"...... LOL. It is nice to find people that have a good sense of humor and that enjoy their day at work. People like these make shopping a nice experience. There's plenty of parking which you can access from Oakland Park or from Andrews. It is a busy intersection, so keep that in mind.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with the pharmacy staff at Walgreens Store #9915,…read morelocated at 3100 N Andrews Ave, Oakland Park, FL. When I went to pick up my medications, I was told that my health insurance pharmacy coverage was "inactive" and was asked to pay for the medication out of pocket. Concerned, I immediately contacted my health insurance company, and they confirmed that my policy is active and has never been terminated or deactivated. What makes this situation even worse is that no one from the pharmacy informed me of this issue beforehand. I had called earlier the same day to order my medication, and at no point was I advised that there was any problem with my insurance coverage. Had I been notified in advance, I could have contacted my insurance company and resolved the issue before making a trip to the pharmacy. For patients who depend on essential medications, delays like this can have serious health consequences. The lack of communication and attention to detail demonstrated by the pharmacy staff put my health at risk and caused unnecessary stress and frustration. Unfortunately, this is not an isolated issue. The staff often come across as rude, dismissive, and uninterested in helping patients. What was most frustrating was that no one seemed willing to take responsibility or ownership of the problem. Rather than investigating the issue or offering assistance, I was simply told that my insurance was inactive, even though my insurance company confirmed otherwise. There was no accountability, no effort to resolve the situation, and no concern for the impact this could have on a patient's health. Patients deserve clear communication, professionalism, compassion, and competent service; especially when access to critical medications is involved. Based on my experience, this pharmacy failed on all of those fronts. I hope Walgreens management takes these concerns seriously, addresses the lack of accountability within this location, and provides additional training to ensure patients receive the level of care and respect they deserve.

Beyond the ease of having prescriptions filled or refilled, their kindness is beyond compare. After 25+ years of my "Superman" dealing with stage 4 colon cancer and trying to get his much needed meds there was only constant frustration to obtain his needed medications. He has since passed and I continued dealing with them for myself. The staff at store # have been one like family and they always tried their best to work within the corporate system but the system is broken. The staff there are truly lovely, the problem isn't them. It was the ridiculous way the company dealt with valid prescriptions. I was recommended Garden Drugs by one of my doctors and I still can't believe what a pure pleasure my dealings are. It is personal, kind, understanding all while remaining professional. This is a letter of recommendation to anyone who has had to jump through all the stumbling blocks that the "big stores" have in place. Please if you are still using Walgreens or CVS do yourself a huge favor. Have your physician switch all your scripts to Garden. within months of transferring to Garden one of the biggest frustrations of my life has been eliminated. No more constant time on hold, no more insurance issues or long wait times just to get my scripts filled. the lovely staff at Garden actually call when the meds are ready for pickup, unheard of at Walgreens. I didn't mean to write such a rambling, long review but if I can make anyone's life easier it was worth it. Give them a chance. You will never go back to the horrid corporate companies. very sincerely, Barbara Whitaker
