This newly renovated Publix on A1A is clean and has some of the nicest employees working there. I prefer shopping at this location as its parking lot is more organized and has a place for its shopping carts. There's also a lovely Publix employee by the name of JoJo at the hot food line/deli section whom needs to be recognized for her awesome customer service. She greets her customers with a big smile and always ready to assist her customers...ideal customer service for any business establishment.. This is a brand new Publix opened in Spring of 2025. All prior reviews really don't apply. The store has a new modern layout and they hired all new help. The store was closed for more than a year while the old store was demolished and new store built. read more

I haven't had a problem with this Publix until my husband came here to buy a bottle of wine for his 21st birthday and Germaine wanted to make a big scene calling the manager over because apparently he wasn't old enough which if she read the ID she would clearly see he was old enough, long story short we got our wine and she's mad, and famous of YouTube. It's an ok Publix, I live next door so I frequent often. However, they always run out of the cooked chicken, even early in the day which is such an inconvenience when you have young kids and are in a hurry. The store seems to run out of items often, especially when they're on sale. Sometimes I go to the one in Juno because they have much more stuff. With that being said, shout out to the bakery for making my kids birthday cake just the way I asked for. It came out beautiful and it went great with the decorations I added!! So thank you! The reason why I get this place 3 stars is that the service is okay when I get a stuck it takes about 10 minutes to get it but everything else is fine I go there all the time to get all my groceries to groceries are fresh and great. I've done online ordering for sandwiches at this publix quite a few times. Almost every time I arrive (after the scheduled pick-up time) my food isn't ready and it's not even being made. The first few times i thought, all right, maybe they were slammed- until it repeatedly happened at non-rush hours. I've run into them stating they didn't make the sandwich because they were out of the bread i selected; which could have been remedied with a quick call to the number i provided. I've heard "oh shoot, is anyone checking online orders?". It happened again today, and i'm done with it. What is the point of online ordering if you end up waiting at the store anyway? And god forbid you have to interact with the people working the deli - they are not friendly. I've watched them get snappy, talk openly behind a customers back as they walk away, and talk trash to the customers faces. Obviously the management at this store thinks this is acceptable, as this hasn't changed in the past year. I'm done with this location. read more

This tends to be a pretty good Publix overall and less crowded than many others in the area. However we went last week and the carts and baskets were not being wiped, and they did not even have wipes for us to clean them. While shoppers overall tried to keep their distance the store did nothing to maintain distance between customers, and the cashiers and baggers had no gloves. Picked up some items (some unwanted) at this Publix today. Brought back a Turkey breast b/c it was rotten, I was told, upon return, that it was on defrosted & on-display since Thursday (Today is Sunday). There was also the Cod fish fillet that I had to return; It had a living tapeworm that was crawling on the outside of the fish; You couldn't miss it if you were wrapping it up in Wax-paper. Brought these items back to return (and complaing); Management at this store couldn't give a crap and the staff was stating that "Worms on Cod-fish are pretty normal". Well it may be normal for the Publix, but not out there in every other supermarket I have been to. Guess I wont be visiting this site any time in the near future. I wish there was a 0 star option. I had to return to the store today after shopping there yesterday. When I got home from shopping, two items were not in my bags. I even checked my car again. The person in customer service seemed clueless and actually asked the cashier if she remembered NOT putting the items in my bag. She did not. Back at customer service, I said I wasn't trying to scam the store. Finally, the other customer service person said I could get the items, so they could be scanned again. They refused to give me a refund. I commented they were not making this easy. I went and got the items, which were scanned, receipt was marked "replaced". When I commented I didn't appreciate the way this was handled, I was ignored. So, to recap, I was inconvenienced, not believed, and rudely sent on my way. Not a big fan of Publix, but this experience was far from a pleasure-all for around $7.00 in merchandise. The deli counter is slow and lifeless. I was the only one at the counter and I asked the lady for chicken, she rudely interrupted and said "i am not helping you, I am helping another customer". There was nobody else around. People like this should not be in customer service. read more

Beware of OVERCHARGING @ the deli. There's a short Indian lady who doesn't know ANYTHING. She tried to charge me extra for bacon when it's clearly listed and included in the Jerk Turkey special they offer. I also previously witnessed her try to charge another gentleman $5 to add hummus to a wrap. She was then corrected by another employee with common sense to only charge $1. She's bad for business and needs to be let go or re-trained because her lack of pricing and excessive overcharging is unacceptable. read more

The people who work the deli counter are the SLOWEST group of people in the entire store. There were 5 people working the counter at once this morning (Sunday, July 26th at 10:30). Every single one was moving in slow motion. It should not take 20 minutes for me to get a quarter pound of cheese. The other locations are NOT this slow. Well I am very disappointed that the charge the prices they do and they continue to spend all there time making these sweets and refuse to make anything healthy that won't give you cancer or ruin ones life years down the road just to snack on a sweet. Yes it's too easy to go home and make the same things they sell and have it be healthy but is that what the world has come to? You can no longer trust any prepared food from places like this because the continue to use GMOs and other very harmful ingredients? Honestly they need to start keeping up to date about the reality we live in and start giving a people a choice that is people like me. Publix is my favorite place to shop! The employees are always so friendly and helpful! I am currently pregnant with twins so can't do any heavy lifting and they're is always a staff member around to help me lift a case of waters or bag of dog food when I need it. I especially love that when you ask for help finding something they walk you exactly to the item rather then just point and guess where about it is making you run around until you actually are able to find the item! Good job publix! Keep up the great customer service!!! It matters and it brings me back every time !!!! read more

Deli is too slow and sometimes not very customer oriented. They seem snarly and unhappy. Most of the folks who work at Publix seem happy, but the deli seems to bring everyone down. I don't recommend using the deli...the rest of the store is good. read more
