    Chicken Sandwich

Dined here on a Friday around 3pm and had about a 15 minute wait. Server was attentive and knowledgeable. I got the hot chicken sandwich and wish their menu specified that it was tossed in a spicy bbq sauce, not just a spicy patty. I should have asked, but I was not pleased with my meal and thought it being on rock hard Texas Toast did not make it anymore enjoyable. Fries were nothing special and cold when they came out. If I were to return, I would definitely order something else.

Decided on Pucketts for dinner on our last night in Chattanooga. We ordered a chicken salad sandwich with sweet tater fries, a fried baloney sandwich and fries, and our friends split a pork nacho plate. Two mixed drinks, water, and a coffee rounded the beverages. We didn't wait very long, and our waitress was friendly and attentive. We listened to a good guitar trio (Josh Driver Trio) while we dined too. I believe we're adding Puckett's to our Chattanooga dining stops! The prices aren't too bad either though the mixed drinks aren't cheap. Oh yeah, we split a chocolate cobbler and ice cream for dessert, while our friends split a fried brownie with candied bacon, ice cream and chocolate sauce. Yeah, they were as good as you are thinking.

My family and I eat at this restaurant every time we go to Chattanooga. You can't beat the food and the location is amazing. It's right in the center of everything and the menu has something for everyone. I love the country feel of the space. Our servers have always been lovely. Last time we went, it was about 10:50 and it wasn't quite time to order lunch but my little one wanted a plain cheeseburger. The precious server made it happen for him. The breakfast portions are huge and so very tasty! Coffee is always perfect. I'm hoping one day do dinner there because I am sure they have music at night since there is a stage. The restaurant is pretty large so I've never had to wait on a table, which is nice!

Great service from Kamron and a good dinner! The chicken fried chicken and pulled pork were really tasty but the sides didn't blow us away. We had mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, okra, and sweet potato fries. It's a neat, cozy little place and the breakfast menu looked like it had some unique dishes worth checking out!

Came here to have lunch with my siblings and all of our kids and it was delicious. I mixed up how many people were coming and the guy at the front was really flexible where he got a table for us and was willing to pivot when I realized it would be too small. The shrimp and grits was amazing. Our first server seemed a bit overwhelmed with our table and so they gave us a different server who was awesome. He fixed anything that had been messed up (sprite having water poured into it during refills) and was fun to talk to. It has a very cute homey feel inside and the food was great.

Everything was great, I was a little skeptical at first but really enjoyed my birthday 11/4/2025. Service good and very helpful. Collards were a little salty for us along with Mac & cheese kinda runny but other than that it was delicious.

The food was just ok, looking at yelp I wanted to try the ribs but they are only served on Saturday only. The service was great and the live band was good also.

Appetizer pulled pork nachos. Corsair mule. Pickled onions on the side.

Malia was a super waitress! The food was delicious. Prices are pretty good for being in a downtown area outside the aquarium. Got us in quickly. I would recommend.

Amazing atmosphere, services and more importantly delicious food. Highly recommend the nacho brisket. A surcharge for the brisket versus the pull pork but it's worth it. I wasn't a fan of the side salsa but it didn't take away from the appetizer as it was on the side. Had the Nashville Cheesesteak but brisket and it did not disappoint. Next time will have to try the hot one but that means another trip The kids had the Southern Fried Chicken and Piggy Mac and they loved it. The Southern Fried Chicken was a big platter, so be ready to eat The place has a great family environment and the entertainment was setting up as we were eating so those left behind likely to have more fun. Can't wait for the next visit.

Great breakfast spot. We stopped by on our way to a day visit to Chattanooga and found this place. There is a parking lot beside the building, but you have to pay. We didn't know check for free parking. It wasn't crowded when we arrived. Service was done with a smile! Biscuits were light and fluffy. Bacon was cooked crispy. Coffee was good. French toast with peanut butter cream cheese, bananas, and whipped cream was delicious- well balanced. Individually, the peanut butter could easily have been overwhelming, but with the whipped cream, bananas, and French toast... it was the perfect play on a breakfast pb and banana sandwich!

I came in on a quiet Saturday morning and was greeted with warm smiles and a clean restaurant. I was seated immediately and the server was like a tornado handling the patrons with quickness and care. I had my best breakfast I've ever had here. #1. No question. Who knew smoked brisket was excellent for breakfast? Puckett's does. The smoked brisket hash was perfect. This is a must have when you're in Chattanooga. Come here now!

This was our fourth visit to Puckett's and all of our previous visits were great. This visit, however, was bad. We ordered the "whole farm" to split amongst me and two kids. The sausage and BBQ pork were great, the brisket was a mix of lukewarm juicy pieces and tough (for brisket) chunks, the turkey was so dry and over cooked that you couldn't cut it with a knife, and the half chicken was so dry that I had to chug water to get it down. I asked for more turkey (my son and I's favorite) and after 20+ minutes they brought out a piece that was even more over cooked. The waitress didn't seem to notice the issue and we never saw a manager until we got the check and asked to speak to him. He heard how our experience was, saw all the food left on the table, and did absolutely nothing about it. I don't know if it was the time of day (we got there at 7:45) or what, but this experience was DEFINITELY not worth the $50+ for one adult and two kids.

The beets were fresh and the goat cheese carried so much flavor. For the desserts, we got the carrot cake with pecans and chocolate cheesecake. Both were soooo good. I would get both of them again, especially the carrot cake which was so warm and moist. And the candied pecans were such a nice complement to the cake - not too sweet at all. We got to choose our table and had friendly service the whole time. Note that although the service is pretty good, the food coming out was a little slow. We got the 3 chicken tender basket, catfish basket, the smoked buffalo wings, and banana pudding. The buffalo wings were the highlight. Great smokiness coming through the wings. Just a little bit of heat from the buffalo sauce. Highly recommend. Everything else was pretty good. The chicken was tender, and good crisp to the outside, and good seasoning. The catfish was pretty good too although they were pretty thin so didn't get quite as much of the crunch to tenderness contrast that I like in a catfish. Also, their tartar sauce is too sweet. I prefer more tang on the sauce. I think the sauces run sweet as I thought the champy sauce was a little too sweet over mustard-y. Good fries with great texture and seasoning. I also got the green bean sides which were a little soft but great, depth of flavor as it was clearly cooked with pork. The potato salad was good if not memorable. The kids loved the banana pudding. A little too much of the cream and not enough pudding but otherwise worth getting. All in all a strong chicken spot to visit while in Chattanooga.

It was also a beautiful day so we sat on the patio. I love that they work with local organizations for fresh vegetables and meat! Our waiter was very nice and fairly attentive. But the food... For the good - the crab cake was delicious. It was like all crab meat with no filler and was very tasty. The pimento cheese was also SO yummy. You could tell it was made fresh and had a great flavor. The pita it came with was fine, a little over-grilled. I was not crazy about the fried okra. I wish the pieces weren't just cut in half, because to me they had that slimy okra texture inside. My gf said they weren't THAT bad, but I really had to push myself to eat them. The rosemary fries have a great flavor and were crispy (I prefer thicker fries but my gf enjoyed these). I LOVE mac and cheese and was super excited to try theirs. It was very creamy and had a good flavor but there was way too much cheese for the amount of noodles. Like the ratio was pretty off. Now for THE issue. My gf ordered the Filet Mignon, medium. It came raw and without the blue cheese compound butter. By the time the waiter came to check on us, I was half done eating. He took the steak to be put back on the grill and brought it back with a bowl of crumbled blue cheese. It was still raw inside. He brought us extra fries, but by the time it came back I was done eating. She asked for it to go and it was STILL RAW. She had cut it, so it was super obvious if you looked. The manager came and talked to us and they took it off the bill, but for a $40 filet mignon it should not take 3 tries to cook it right and it still not really be right. She said there are cold spots on the grill and they're training a new line cook, but it was not a good look... I'd maybe give more of a pass if they were packed, but there was no one eating inside and maybe two other tables of folks outside.
