    Philly Cheesesteak Fries (without cheese)
    Dee Y.

I had friends in town This weekend, who are big Walking Dead fans. So the one made a dinner reservation immediately- although at 4:00 on Sunday, we really didn't need a reservation. The menu has a number of burger and main entree options to pick from and everyone tried something different. We ordered pickle fries (DELICIOUS) and Philly Cheesesteak fries for the table. The waitress brought me a small dish of the cheesesteak fries without cheese so I could enjoy. I've never had this happen before. (Bonus points) my fries were also good but I did wonder if the meat was a nice grade of hamburger. Fior dinner, I ordered the surf and turf burger, which is a hamburger topped with a crabcake. I really wanted to order the crabcakes but thought this was a good substitution. Overall the burger was delicious, but I only ate half since I was so full from the appetizers I took the other half home and it warmed up very nicely. Our waitress was very friendly, helpful, and attentive. She even shared a little bit about The Walking Dead and the owners. Since we were there to celebrate a few birthdays, they provided the fourth birthday people bowl of ice cream each. One of my friends at the table also ordered the fried ribs and she raved over and over again about how delicious the ribs were. I didn't have a chance to try them, but it was something that I'd come back for to try another time. So the verdict... The food was good, but not somewhere that I would seek out again unless I'm with other Walking Dead fans. The food was tasty, but it didn't stand out as amazing enough to want to just come back again.

    Lunch Meatloaf Sliders

In our never ending search for the perfect burger, we chose Nic &. Norman's in the old Chattanooga Choo Choo Station. We arrived for lunch and the hostess greeted us warmly and was incredibly friendly. It was fairly quiet with few people inside due to it being after lunch hour. Being inside the old station, the fixtures and architecture make it a special place to dine. Our server Luke was kind and attentive. Husband chose to forgo the burger and get the Meatloaf Sliders with a side of Sidewinders. I chose the Mexican Burger with a side of Sidewinders. The meatloaf sliders come with mashed potatoes on top of the meatloaf in each slider. I am not a fan of meatloaf but I did take a bite and they were excellent. Full of flavor and not the least bit dry. My Mexican Burger was full of flavor and I was definitely not disappointed. The sidewinder fries were excellent as well. Would definitely recommend Nic & Norman's! Will be back!

Me and a friend went on a tour of Hotel Chalet and after we finished we decided to eat at Nic and Norman's. The server Chase was great,'the atmosphere was great we sat at a window, the food was good but I felt my 4oz cup of soup was over priced . The wedge salad was good considering it was a 1/4 of a wedge first time I've seen that and I guess the toppings push the charge up but it was goods I would go back.

They have the best pickle spears! Remember them from a visit 5+ yrs ago. We should have looked for parking- was $24 to park close. I had the portobello mushroom burger and it was delicious!!! Hubs devoured the hangover breakfast bowl. Son had the smashburger. Our server Zoey was super sweet. Neatest decor in the historic building. Love this place!

Popped in for a quick lunch on Sunday afternoon during normal weekend brunch hours. Stir on the other side of the museum was packed with a one hour wait, but Nick and Norman's was empty except for three tables and one group of women at the bar. That should've been my sign to go somewhere else, but I had already spent $6.50 on parking for an hour and a half. I sat down at the bar and the bartender was very nice and offered me a sample of a beer so I could make a decision. I ordered the salad with some grilled chicken. The chicken on my salad wasn't very flavorful and had a strange texture. Otherwise it was a basic salad you can get at any restaurant the dressing was nothing to write home about. I probably won't come back and wood instead go to stir or walk across the street next time. I'm in Chattanooga.

Last night's visit to Nic & Norman's was a delicious detour into comfort food with a gourmet twist. I tried their Brisket Barbecue Flatbread, and let me just say--this dish knows how to make an impression. The tender, smoky brisket paired perfectly with the sweet and tangy barbecue sauce, and the mozzarella cheese brought everything together in the most satisfying way. The flatbread had a nice crisp to it without being too crunchy, making every bite a perfect balance of texture and flavor. I sipped on their Fresh Cherry Lemonade--refreshing, slightly tart, and just the right amount of sweetness. It was the perfect pairing for the richness of the flatbread, and honestly, I could've had a pitcher. The atmosphere was casual yet lively, and the service was warm and attentive--great for a relaxed evening out. If you're a fan of smoky barbecue flavors and refreshing handcrafted drinks, Nic & Norman's is definitely worth a visit. Ask for Janna, she was our server and was the absolute best I'll be back to try more!

Such a cool restaurant inside an old historic train station! If you're a "Walking Dead" fan then you'll appreciate this restaurant probably more than I did. I enjoyed my dining experience with my husband. Our waitress, cocktails, and food were delicious along with the ambience!

Ordered 2 flatbreads . Chicken garlic parmesan and chicken buffalo. Both were very tasty. Did order a side of dips your way too, before I could take a picture, we all dug in and it was done with . Very nice Service was quick and very friendly. Atmosphere was pleasant, welcoming . If you are a walking dead fan , this place is owned by Norman Reedus (Daryl Dixon)

Truly appreciated Nic and Norman's getting us in on a Friday night with no reservation after we traveled all day. Host was sooo kind! The food: excellent! We had the meatloaf, and while it didn't look appetizing, WOW. The gravy was delicious, the meat was tender and loaded with veggies and flavor. The fish and chips was hot, fresh, and crispy; my husband loved it. We left here full, happy, and really pleased with the service and price points. Will be back!

We went into Chattanooga for an evening with some friends and decided to hit up Nic and Norman's for dinner -- we had a pretty big party and were able to snag a late night dinner reservation. The place is pretty big and I was actually surprised! Our server did a great job with our large group and made sure we had all of our drinks, appetizers and dinners timely. She split up our checks with no issue (thank goodness!) and overall we had a good experience. I had a turkey burger that was pretty good, but it was the sweet potato fries for me (!!!) Appetizers weren't bad either, but nothing super crazy. It was good food for the big group and for us being pretty hungry. Had an issue with the Guinness someone ordered - it was super flat. I had a bourbon on the rocks that was fine. A few other folks had beers or cocktails that were all decent as well. Drinks: 3.5/5 Food: 3.5/5 Service: 5/5

    Philly Cheese fries... SLAPPING!!

The restaurant is huge! The ambiance is very nice, rustic! Staff was great! Restroom is shared with other businesses, as it's in like an industrial shopping center/plaza. I got the pickle fries & fried ribs (sauce on the side), but the sauce was delicious too! Ribs were amazingly tender & juicy. My hubby got the gigantic fish burger & the fish was fresh & flaky. The side-winder fries are the best fries ever! And especially dressed up as a Philly Cheesesteak! That steak was flavorful & tender. We all enjoyed our meals!

Everything about this experience was top-notch! From being seated quickly upon entering, to explaining how the ticket validation thing worked (more info at the end), customer service was some of the best I've been shown. The ambiance is chic but casual-great for both cozy date night or fun family night. Our server was so friendly and patient as we asked questions about the menu. I ordered the grilled salmon with spicy crab remoulade and my guy ordered the smoked wings with a side of fries. I was happy that I was able to select my own sides from the ones on the menu so I opted for the fried Brussels sprouts with maple and bacon and the buttermilk whipped potatoes. After a short wait, our food was brought out. This was truly one of the best salmon dishes I have ever eaten! The salmon was cooked to my liking, the potatoes were soft and fluffy and the fried Brussels sprouts were absolutely divine and perfect. The remoulade was a little salty but it may have been just been my taste. The potatoes helped with that so it was not a deal breaker. My guy was pleased with his food as well and I could tell he enjoyed everything he ate. We agreed that we would take this trip back just to eat this meal again. It was truly a wonderful experience, from beginning to end. I highly recommend trying this gem out! Pro Tip: The restaurant validates parking. If you park in the lot across the street, do not prepay on the app or online. Ask the servers at the front to validate to save the $18 parking fee before you order and within 15 minutes after entering. Unfortunately, we didn't do this and the restaurant cannot reimburse the money after you've already paid. You've been warned!

We tried a few beers from Five Wits and per her recommendation got the creamsicle shake as well. Solid beverage choices. The shake tasted part float part milkshake and it was absolutely delicious. Would order again. The food on the other hand was a bit eh. We ordered the Asian q burger and the mushroom melt burger and it took quite a while for them to come out and when they did they had unfortunately been left on the grill for way too long and were charred and crunchy. One set of our fries was cold and the bun to burger ratio was extremely off. Luckily, the staff agreed that our burgers were accidentally overcooked and they remade them no questions asked. The remade burgers were moist and better but still not fantastic. They were just burgers with minimal toppings on them. Not really seasoned and the flavor came from the toppings themselves. The buns were still too big for the burgers so there was a lot of extra bread and they have potential to be great but they were just average. Would have probably been a three star review but the staff and drink selection really earned the extra star. Would go back to drink and maybe snack but probably not order a burger.

Wonderful cocktail list with well balanced, well made cocktails. I loved my old fashioned and others enjoyed their drinks too. Very nice, attentive service from the servers although they brought out the oysters without telling us what was what and service was at times bumpy. The interior is nice, with it feeling casual but somewhere you could bring a date. And we enjoyed the lobster cakes which were well done, nice sauce, without overwhelming the sweetness of the lobster itself. So that was positive. Where it failed: the tuna bites on regular and not crispy rice was hard to eat. It was good but a little unruly. The halibut piccatta was VERY dry, almost bordering on inedible. Their special, which was a bento box was not great. The flavors didn't go together and their sushi eggroll had cream cheese which is very gross. Their steak frites was fine if not that memorable. All in all, I would come back for their drinks and their oysters but not sure I would come back for a full meal here.
