Stopped in here for a quick beer tasting before dinner while visiting Tucson. Instantly regretted the fact we could only drink one beer due to time. This place was such a great atmosphere and the beer was delicious. The bartenders were welcoming and really helpful when we were describing our beer palettes. Great beer and great space. Unlike most of the other craft beer ive tried in both Phoenix and Tucson, this one of the two places I highly recommend. There IPA are both intresting and full of flavor without the "thinness" ("long" as the Italians describe watery espresso) which seems to be common in these areas. Cool spot. Interesting beers. I actually took a few sips of some of the beers my buddies got. Had a sample of the "Harvest" (Prickly pear ale) and the "Hef" (very prevalent banana notes). They have 5 ounce pours for $2.00, so you can sample a bunch and not break the bank. Chill spot, dog friendly, unisex bathrooms. They also sell 4 packs "to go". If I was still a beer drinker, I could see myself coming back here to relax and have some cold ones. read more

Pueblo vida is a great brewery. They craft some amazing brews. My favorite being their breakfast stout. (This beer may be one of my all time favorite beers!)The breakfast stout is brewed with cold pressed coffee from yellow brick coffee and it creates a wonderful stout. I stop by regularly to fill my growler with this stout. They also craft outstanding hefeweizens and IPAs. They have weekly beer infusions that are a must try. We went early one morning; it was crowded, and there were only a few seats available. While in line I was told that before they took our order we had to do yoga for an hour. It was a good workout. I found out that my body didn't bend in the ways that everyone else seemed to be able to bend, so I guess that was an education too. After we were finally able to relax, everyone in the crowd seemed friendly, but they were all sweaty. I was especially sweaty and stinky... so I figured I needed some beer, stat... Finally they took our order and I was able to enjoy some IPAs. I had a Bonfire (excellent) and then a Fields (very good). My sweaty friends had a prickly-pear Harvest (ok... not much cactus flavor to be found) and an Anomalous IPA (good). We munched on some spicy lime popcorn and chatted, before heading out to town in search of lunch. We'll be back! read more

Clean layout with a comfortable feel. No food, but you can bring whatever you're eating with you. Their brews are available on a chalkboard complete flavor profiles. Same options you'd find in other breweries. We love doing flights because we want to try as many different beers as possible. We also collect Snifter glasses from breweries and I was so delighted that they had a mini snifter glass! We were there in the afternoon right after opening and the only ones there, but we had a great time chatting with the bartender. Check them out while you're in town! read more

Delicious banana Hefeweizen this past Saturday. Boyfriend and our close friend got the Oktoberfest and loved it! I am a fan of my fruity beers and the hef truly left a mark on my heart. They only sell popcorn here by the way! No food. This is a great place with great beer, so we came here for a beer before heading somewhere down the street for lunch. The bartender was also really awesome and recommended an amazing restaurant down the street named Penca (sp?). Just try the Banana Hef, seriously. It's fantastic. read more

Highlights were definitely the IPAs. Went for the 4th anniversary party and they had a couple of can releases along with some infused beers. Surprised on the quality of IPAs. Was not expecting that in Tucson. Space is small and was packed on a Sunday afternoon. Signage was limited on the outside of the building so you could walk right by if you don't know the exact location. A must visit brewery in Tucson. read more

This is a very nice little brewery in what is becoming a very Beer Centric Downtown. Just down from another great brewery in Thunder Canyon on Broadway Blvd. The beers here are well crafted, tasty, and reasonably priced. Friendly staff, and a nice environment for just relaxing with a tasty beer. Parking can be a bit nightmarish in the area, but it's worth the aggravation to get a brew or two in this quaint little brewery. read more

I love craft beer and I'm so proud of how Tucson has become such a great craft brew city. Tucson has many great breweries in pretty faithful to a few favorites in town. I was holding off on checking pueblos Vida for some reason I don't really know but after trying their beers at the hop culture juicy brews fest i was hooked. Finally I went and was blown away and this has become a new favorite place for beer. Their selection is great they have one of the best ipas around the benthos. Also their yellow brick and del bac whiskey barrel infused stout is amazingly delicious and creamy and oaky and seriously a must try for beer lovers. The regular stout the hyperspace is so smooth and a good stout. The place is awesome and I can't wait to go again and try more beer and maybe hit up one of their trivia nights which I hear are pretty popular. Great brewery here seriously good brews read more

Their infusions Tuesdays are always complex and a great pairing of flavors. If stopping through Tucson, it's a must visit. Us: "Which IPAs are Hazy and juicy? Tender: "All of them" Whoohoo! I was a happy guy. PV nails the NEIPA style for sure and I really liked what I tried there. To be fair it was our second stop and I did not have a lot of time to walk through all of their brews but I sure want to. The place was low lit, chill, and in a great area full of character. We had real nice tenders there and though busy were able to grab a bunch of beer real quick for our group. I loved all of the old brick exposed walls and cool wood benches. It is pretty small but despite the ceiling height felt nice and warm. I am really tempted to go with a 5-star review but the smell of brew grains was so overwhelming when I was there. I'm not sure if that is a common thing or just something we timed wrong. I know that stinky is in the nose of the beholder but the smell of brew grains is not something I enjoy. Some of you may love it and I can't fault you if you but simply too much for me at the time. I look forward to getting back to PV to go through some of their other beers perhaps adding on that fifth star I hear they deserve. Till then, I will just keep dreaming of those NEIPAs they serve. read more

This is an absolutely fantastic brewery! My spouse and I went in on a whim while we waited for our dinner reservations down the street. We drove by and saw a decent crowd inside and decided to try it. We are so glad we did! This is a no-nonsense little bar in the sense that they have local craft beers and nothing else. They know what they are good at and they stick to it. You don't have to worry about getting some mediocre bar food or wild college students taking shots. It's just a relaxed atmosphere, wonderful ambiance, with fantastic brews. I will be the first one to tell you I'm no beer expert, but that's what is great about this place! They have something for beginners and experts and everything in between. When we were there they had 6 beers on tap; ranging from IPA's to Stouts to Hef's. I prefer something light and not too hoppy. It was very easy for me to choose a beer that I would enjoy because they have a board with all the beers named and rank the beers by alcohol volume and hoppiness! My spouse loves hoppy beers so he chose the IPA and thoroughly enjoyed it. We were also accompanied by a friend who spend the last 3 years in Germany who chose the Hef and was quite impressed! The folks at pueblo vida were very knowledgeable and friendly and definitely know what they are doing when it comes to brewing! I would highly recommend this place to anyone. read more

Pueblo Vida brews up some of the best beer in town. I recently got hooked on the unfiltered, NE style IPAs and that's exactly what Pueblo Vida specializes in. Their lineup changes often so if you find one you like, stock up in growlers. They do can a few of their flagships but still they are not available anywhere else. I hope they move to a broader distribution model so you can get their beers in select restaurants or at places like Plaza Liquors. The only thing that sucks about going to Pueblo Vida is the downtown parking. The location and appearance of the interior of their taproom is pretty great tho. Please check out PV brewing next time you are in the mood for a great beer. read more

PV is my favorite Tucson brewery! I don't always enjoy schlepping downtown, because parking is super inconvenient, but I will do it for their beer. On Tuesdays, they tap special infusions, and they are always tasty and interesting. The one bad thing is the infusions are so popular that they often run out of them before I arrive, but they've stopped allowing growler fills of the infused beers to combat this. I have to say, although I like some beers more than others, I've never disliked any beer they've made. They do great IPAs, the breakfast stout is good, and their hefeweizen is excellent (my go-to if I'm not feeling anything else). The staff is super friendly and great to talk to; Audra is an excellent bartender and conversationalist. The space is chill and laidback. Prices are fair, pretty much what you'd expect at any other place. read more
