Not sure where to start. The food is delicious. All of it. If I were asked for the dish I crave most, it's their chile relleno. I'd also say any shrimp dish is amazing. My husband loves their taquitos and fajitas. Their margaritas are the perfect balance of sweet, tart, and tequila! This place reminds me of the restaurants I grew up with in San Diego, CA. I had the Chile Relleno side with the Huevos Rancheros... two of my go-to's for the first time I eat at a Mexican restaurant. I've been going here since I was little, but hadn't been in years after moving away. I was so happy to find it was just as great as it was in my memories. The food was delicious. We ordered several things as a party and shared, including Vallarta Fajitas (shrimp, chicken, and steak) arroz con pollo, and carne asada. Everything was well prepared to order and came out correctly even with several alterations made. The restaurant was clean and well kept. More importantly the staff here go above and beyond. They are so kind and so attentive, and checked in often without be overbearing. We'll definitely be trying to stop in here more often when we're at the coast! read more

No taste it seemed to have generic sliced beef that you would buy in bulk and reheated with peppers. It was very tough. I don't expect much from Mexican restaurants within Coos County since I grew up in Southern California, but this was by far the worst food I've had in over a decade. The food was completely tasteless. My husband & I wished we would of gone to Taco Bell instead. Jack & The Box tacos are tastier. The Chile Rellenos were the worst. Really disgusting. Chicken was extremely dry. The pico de gallo salsa helped somewhat. The rice was decent. Overall very bland dishes. I couldn't even finish my plate. The only enjoyable part was our Horchata drinks. We wound up at Puerto Vallarta after our first two choices fell through (long wait at one, closed kitchen at another) and I'm so glad we did! The space is huge and easy for social distancing. My margarita was great. My chimichanga del mar was phenomenal, honestly one of the best restaurant entrees I've had in quite a while! I could eat the crema from a spoon! The only not great part of the meal was the complementary chips and salsa, the salsa seemed "ketchup-y" but maybe it was just an off night for that. My partners fish tacos were really good. And our delightful waitress brought us a mini dessert on the house that was so good!
