Tonight, the kids chose Mexican food and we were by the Veranda, so we walked into Puesto. The michelada was pretty good. The flavors were good mixed together. I just wish it had a little more tomato juice and a little less ice, but I would totally order this again. For the tacos, I chose the three that were recommended. These taco included the fillet minion taco with hot sauce on the side, the lamb barbacoa and the verduras. The verduras were so delicious that we will order this again. As for the lamb, it was too gamey and we usually love lamb. Then, we had high hopes for the filet mignon tacos except they had too much cheese on them that you could not enjoy the taste of the meat much. My son really liked his chicken Al pastor plate which wasn't an option printed on the menu. He is our resident Mexican food expert, and we are basing this review off of his tastes. We shall return on a taco Tuesday to get double the amount of tacos for the same price! read more

Pros- -food is good -nice decor and ambiance. -indoor and out door seating -bar seating -booth and table seating -clean bathrooms -host and waitress were nice -not busy on a Sunday during lunch Cons- -expensive $$$$ -it's in the veranda and the parking lot is always full on the weekends. -after our waitress gave us our food she disappeared The food is good, but it's not WOW good. I really enjoyed eating at Puesto, as it has a lovely atmosphere, quick service and above all excellent food. I had the tacos while my partner had the jalapeño salad, and both were excellent. The bar on the inside is top-notch, very pretty and decorative, and there is lots of interesting scenery within the restaurant. I've also eaten outside, and I really like where it is located and the amenities that come with like heaters for your table if it happens to be cold outside. The only reason I wouldn't give five stars, was this one small interaction that I didn't really like, may not even be worth not adding the fifth star; however... When we arrived, the water glass in front of my partner had lip prints on it. No big deal, we let the waitress know. The thing I did not like is instead of removing the glass from the floor, it was just moved to the adjacent table. So check your glasses, other than that this place is great. Also, the corn dish at the bottom left of the menu (forget the name) was something I would eat everyday. read more

I was just here with my family on the 19th and the experience was good. There are a few reasons why I give the place four stars: 1. We thought we were going to wait for 20 minutes after one of the hostesses said 15-20 minutes for a wait time. But time told otherwise and we waited between 20-30 minutes (my estimate) 2. Not long after we were waiting, this group of 20-somethings who entered and waited for a short time, were able to get seated before us, even though my family and I were inside first. 3. The menu is limited to say the least. One side has food and the other side has drinks (21 and older) But overall, I enjoyed trying Puesto for the first time. I got the Baja fish tacos and they were tasty. We also got the corn, potato taquitos, and a variety of other tacos that I can't remember. read more

My friends and I went here on a Monday evening! There's plenty of parking but, the parking can be a bit busy during the evening. We didn't wait at all to be seated and they offered both inside and outside seating. I started out with a Passionfruit Agua Fresca. It was delicious, fruity, and long lasting! I didn't think there was that much drink to begin with but I was surprised as it lasted me throughout our dinner! We then proceeded to order the Puesto Perfect Guacamole. I was personally expecting the Parmigiano-Reggiano to be shredded but chunks were present instead. I think I would've preferred for the cheese to be shredded as chewing into a chunk of cheese was a lot. I ordered three tacos like they recommended, one being a ribeye taco and two being Chicken al pastor. I loved how there were different salsa and topping pairing with all of the different meats they had to offer! Out of the two, I definitely loved the Chicken Al Pastor. The Ribeye, in my opinion was a little dry for my liking. Overall, this is a great dinner spot. It is a bit more in the expensive side but the Taco Tuesday deal of getting tacos 50% off doesn't sound too bad. There's plenty of space and tables in the restaurant as well. Beautiful restaurant, grabbed a bite to eat before shopping. The food is mediocre, the cocktails however are pretty tasty. Ginger and mango margaritas on point. Giving the restaurant a few tries and sadly the food does not improve. Guacamole needed more seasoning, the chilaquiles were cold by the time we got them, we got a basket of small broken chips (who does that). Puesto did not disappoint. The interior is well thought out and a fun place to eat with friends and family. For appetizers, I got the potato taquitos which was $16. They were so good and crispy and the salsa's were a great pairing. This is something I would definitely get again. For the entree, I got the verduras which is pretty much a veggie bowl and was $20. It was good and plated nice, but I don't think anything stood out about it taste wise for me to get it again. The Ceviche was good got the shrimp and mango. Guacamole was really spicy. It's supposed to be on the top but it felt spicy 20% of the time. So went through a lot of water and Mechilada. We probably 3 orders of Chips and Salsa. The Mechilada tasted. really good. Tacos we're pretty awesome. I like the beef ones the best. Honestly for some reason I really liked their chicken tacquitos. Jacob seemed to like the Qusadilla. The Chicharrones took long but they definitely fresh. I would have given 4 stars but I give +1 since it came late they credited us. That was great of them.
