Hmm, they've recently rebranded and things are not quite the same anymore. Tried a blueberry pea flower matcha latte from their new menu and it looked gorg, but didn't taste like much. Cold brew has also gone downhill. Will be switching to Terremoto. read more

The worst experience I've ever had... my girlfriend accidentally spilled her drink while trying to put the straw into the cup. The lady had an attitude and refused to remake it until my family continued to explain that it was an accident but by then my girlfriend had a bad taste in her mouth and asked for a refund and she also refused that. I would like a number to the corporate office and formally complain. read more

Pulley Coffee Bar is a simple coffee stop in the middle of Chelsea. Honestly, nothing on the menu really stood out as unique, but I just wanted a coffee and decided to give it a try. I ordered the Butterfly Pea Matcha--visually, it was pretty, but the flavor was just okay. The name and look were better than the taste. If you're just grabbing a quick coffee, I'd recommend stopping by, but if you're looking for something special, this isn't the spot. Service was fast, though, so no complaints there. read more

Chelsea Market isn't my cup of tea. Most stuff just isn't for my demographic lol but I obliged going with my aunt because she likes all this cutesy stuff. Lots of coffee shops like Pulley so I tried something basic just to see how it was. Vanilla Latte Iced, simple but done well! Strong brew with bold flavor. In need of a cup of Java in Chelsea Market I remembered a place on the ground floor. What used to be 9th Street Coffee is now Pulley Coffee Bar. Julian took my order and made a small hot cappuccino. I took the hot coffee to sit outside in the island with plenty of seating and umbrella shades. The coffee was fine and I was happy. Alvie and Julien worked fast to make all the various Java orders. Service was friendly. There's quite a bit of counter space for it being inside Chelsea Market. Order at one end and pickup at the other. We got a chai latte. Tasted very watered down and not very hot. Had to add sweetener which they had available on the counter. Will pass in this place next visit. read more

This whole area was really busy! After walking around on the high mile trail we stopped in for something refreshing. We opted for the sparkling tea. It was chamomile flavored. It was a lot of ice (see picture) for the price. The flavor was alright but with all of the other drink options in the area I'm not sure I'd be in a huge rush to come back. read more

This dimly lite coffee spot in located in the center of Chelsea Market and can be easy to miss. Originally I just thought to order a plain old vanilla latte but as I was about to pay a little sign caught the corner of my eye. It was the blackberry mocha. And as weird as it may sound, it was delicious! I never thought berry and coffee would mix that well but I guess the addition of the mocha ties them together. It had a nice coffee flavor with notes of the fruity blackberry that continues to sit in your mouth after swallowing. I was blow away. Before COVID, my favorite coffee chain in New York occupied this spot. I had their punch card and was almost at 10 for a free coffee. Now, Pulley Coffee Bar is ruling this corner spot in Chelsea Market. There are no tables to sit. Order your coffee and split! There was a small line and the baristas were hustling with filling drink orders. I ordered a Cortado, paid and waited for my drink to be created. My finished product is a masterpiece! Pulley Coffee is a nice spot to grab an espresso while walking Chelsea Market. Highly recommended read more

This place is not something i would recommend. The vibe in Chelsea Market so busy and bustling with energy and yet this place seems very out of place. The coffee is ok. The latte that i got looked like it was over steamed and sloppy. The counter was sticky. I had to ask twice for a lid to my latte. The mullet lady with glasses behind the counter was extremely rude and lectured my husband about how he couldn't have 2% milk. Yuck. The whole staff behind the counter just seemed sad to be there. Definitely I recommend going to either blue bottle or even terremoto around the corner than this sad place. read more

I found this hidden coffee shop yesterday while hanging around in Chelsea market. While waiting in line to get my coffee, I found the staff just put the cookie jar on the counter with the lid wide open. Is it hygiene? Instantly I lost my half of my appetite. Grabbed an espresso shot and a macchiato. My gf couldn't finish her macchiato and my espresso was on the rough side. The barista was super nice and I believe she made the drinks properly. Seems the beans and/or the toast of the beans are not great. Probably wouldn't repeat. read more

I went at around noon but the coffee tasted as if it had been sitting out for several hours; it was definitely not freshly made. Fifty-fifty. My wife and I ordered a latte each, pulled one after the other. One was really great: creamy, good fresh coffee flavor. The other was somewhat watery and bitter. We had already started to walk on when we noticed the difference. If we had brought it back, I'm sure they would have given us another. read more

Finding genuinely good black cold brew in this city is harder than it should be, and this one hit the spot so perfectly I made a second solo trip before sundown. The chocolate and almond croissant was delicate, flaky, and exactly what a croissant should be. The shop itself is small, no indoor seating, but two benches out front! The staff was warm and the whole place smells incredible the moment you walk in. I've already earmarked the Cramique for my next visit, because if it's anywhere near as good as everything else, I'm in trouble. Do yourself a favor and stop in!

If you are on the socials, then no doubt you've seen this viral NYC coffee on tap spot. I love trying coffee spots so I knew I had to visit. I hopped on the train and got there around an hour after they opened and the line was only about 15 people long. They take your order while you are waiting in line (it's a to go spot so no seating), and things move quickly. I got the salted caramel with a croissant and it was smooth creamy but not heavy and not too sweet perfection...the chocolate almond croissant was great but quite small. On my second visit I decided on the bergamot honey latte--again it see very good...the bergamot is there but not over powering. This time I got the banana bread and it was superb! Take your coffee and treats to the park across the street with benches. You can people watch and enjoy your morning coffee!!

It was busy, so after paying, you get a cute ticket--hand it to the barista for the viral latte!

Do yourself a favor and skip this place They have $8 drinks here that are made with as much care as starbucks. I bought coffee beans and the barista told me i got a free drink AFTER I paid for everything. Then they wouldn't pet me use my free drink for my daughter...unbelievable. The baristas there were so moody and tired of everyone. It was like I interrupted their time to be on their phones.
