I have a young kid so I have been to many different bouncy places. The amount of inflatable all shoved in a small room makes it crowded. Almost impossible to go to if it's not for a birthday party. Also restricted to which every of the 2 rooms they decide to put you in. The staff is nice and polite. Even the bouncy place in Lakeline mall is better :( read more

I have been here 3 weeks in a row with my 3.5 year old son and every time we go its awesome. Only for parties on the weekends, so don't just drop in. Very well run and organized party staff. Maybe we went on an off day, but my 3yo daughter and I were deeply disappointed with our first and only experience here. She loves "jump places" and is fearless when it comes to even the high bounce houses, so I thought I'd give Pump it Up a try on a rainy day. The place opened at 10 and when we got there at 10:15, there was only one employee working. There was already a big mess on the floor right in front of check-in. I felt bad for the employee because he was trying to juggle the line of customers and navigate them around the mess. It is nice that adults are allowed to climb/play on the houses; however, that may be why 90% of the structures are in need of some sort of repair. Several had broken handles and/or stairs, and/or lots of areas with repair tape on them. They also seemed very dirty to me. Several structures didn't seem to be well inflated. I'm not sure if this was because the place hadn't been open for very long or because of the general condition of the houses. The admission is $8.50/child and is only good during the 2.5 hour block of open play (unlike Inflatable Wonderland at Lakeline mall which is $8 and GOOD ALL DAY; plus, they have an actual concession stand. Pump it Up only has vending machines). It is nice that you can fill out the safety waiver online. My daughter was done after 20 minutes. We were both disappointed in our experience there and I plan on emailing the manager at Pump it Up to express my concern about the condition of the equipment. If you're looking for a "jump place" experience/outing, Pump it Up is not the place to go. read more

We had our daughter's birthday party at Pump It Up in July and it was great. The staff was very friendly and took care of everything. My only real issue is that the velcro on the bounce houses is not well attached and several kids were scratched on their arms and legs. It's also a little spendy, but when it was all said and done, I thought it was worth every penny (aside from the scratches). One thing I do really like about it is that they allow parents to jump with the kids. It's no fun when I'm not allowed to play with my daughter! read more

Highly recommend! We had my twin daughters 5th birthday party here a week ago. It was the best run kids birthday party I have ever attended or hosted! The staff was very attentive, kept the kids happy and busy, took photos for us and kept the party moving. It all went so smoothly. Kids loved it, I enjoyed it. Would recommend for kids who are old enough and big enough to handle themselves in a bounce house. Most of their bouncers are obstical challenge type bouncers- Not really friendly for little kids. The price was on par with any kids activity party type places. FYI: my kids love the "glow party" bounce house room. It was cool! read more

Came for a birthday party. Second time here for that reason. While I dread kid birthday parties oftentimes I have to say they do a solid job at this place. There is a plan, they stick to it, and the kids have a blast. Even the adults get in the action and have a blast in the play area. They lead you through two rooms and then to the party area. I can't speak to the cost but I would recommend this place based on what I saw. read more

What prompted this review was that we went to a birthday party at Jumping Bean and what a horrible place plus they should be closed down. I had my daughters party and been to several at Pump It Up and they were all great. The format is time in room A then room B then the party with cake/food. The employees/manager are all attentive and work with you on food/shuttling presents and decorations inside plus set up for you. They make sure kids are getting too crazy and they care if the kids get hurt. I'm suprised at the 3 star reviews, the space is clean, open, big and i'm sure children can handle a water fountain. Also the parents choose the party time so if you choose to do it during lunch and have a later lunch thats a choice, no fault of pump it up. They give plenty of dates/options. I would gladly have my daughters party there again. read more

Take my kids here for their birthdays. We go in open jump days. They love it!! Would have given 5stars but.... The last two times we have been there is one employee who is rude and mean to the kids she acts like her face would crack if she smiled. read more

Had my sons party there. The kids had fun and the staff was nice. All the kids and adults had fun during the party. The only thing that I did not like and was not ok with it. they charged me and gave out their goodie bags to all the kids without my permission even though I have given out my own goodie bags. Their goodie bags are expensive and very disappointing. I didn't find out they gave them out until I paid at the end. I told them I didn't give permission for them to give their goodies bags out , they told me that I was being charged and hey couldn't do anything about it. The total if the goodie bags was a lot moe that expected since I had about 15 kidskin the party. Other than that I was good. read more

We had our son's 4th bday party here and it was fun. One thing I didn't consider was starting at noon that your guests are starving after an hr of jumping. I cut the jumping part short so we could eat. Since everyone was hungry I underestimated the food and we ran out. Oops! My only complaint is that they make you go with their pizza vendor. I'm picky on my pizza and didn't like their vendor. I prefer to pick my own place and cater in the food hence the 3 stars. But for a January bday indoors our bday venues are limited. read more

Worth every penny! Great staff, great party hosting. To the parent complaining about drinks and water...that is a problem with the party host...or you can bring your own (just don't take it into the bouncy house rooms). These guys know how to throw a party and make it easy on the parents. We will be back for many parties to come. Thank you guys for a great experience for everyone! read more

I have had 4 birthday parties here, since 2010 to 2015. Every single party was great. The staff is always helpful, friendly and good with the kids. They are super organized, which makes everything go extremely smooth. The price is pricey, but to me it is worth every penny spent. You actually get to enjoy the party, because they truly take care of everything, including pictures. It really is the best place to have a party for all ages. read more

My review would've been at least a 3 because my son and his friends had a blast for his birthday party. BUT my mother was watching the workers as they were packing up my sons gifts...She said they were throwing away gift bags (why would they throw away gift bags!? I can reuse those..) anyway, they were in such a hurry to clean the room because there was a party coming in after us. (They need to space out the parties more so they aren't so rushed.) Because they were so rushed we are missing a gift and I believe it was in one of those gift bags the workers threw away. Also, the balloon drop was not worth $30. They drop the balloons then they make the kids put them back because they reuse them for the other parties. If I'm paying $30 their workers can clean up the balloons. Also we paid for the 24 kids package. My husband went to go get the 24 drinks and they said "you only had 21 kids show so you only get 21 drinks" UM WHAT!? We paid for the package we should get the whole package regardless of how many kids showed!! Just an awful experience. read more

Definitely not the place if your child is not into dark rooms and super loud background music. Plus, the rooms themselves aren't all that big and are somewhat claustrophobic when packed with several children, and not to mention, their guardians. We went there for the first time today and were taken aback by the noise level and the super dark and dingy room. A few of the kids were happy and bouncing up and down (wonder why ADD levels are so high in our country?!) but a few others were taken aback by the setting. Eeek! Plus, the food they serve is loaded with sugar. Who offers Sprite and Dr. Pepper to 3 and 4 year olds? You ask kids and which one is going to say no. For God's sake, you're in Austin, can you not offer a healthier drink such as Honest Kids or coconut water or just PLAIN WATER? The only good thing is that the party was started and ended in time. We just had our daughter's 6th birthday party at Pump It Up (Sat. Aug 1) and it was such a wonderful experience. From the moment we walked in, the staff was super friendly and beyond attentive. We had more than 20 kids at the party and they truly had a blast. For extra fun (and a little more money), we added the bubble machine and the pirate adventure package and we are so glad we did. The kids had so much fun running through them and trying to pop as many they could. We also got some great pictures. Terrence, the children's pirate guide, was completely in character and could not have been sweeter. His assistant Melani (ph) was a sweetheart as well. After an hour of jumping and searching for hidden treasure, we were taken to a very clean party room. There were plenty of attendants helping everyone out, wearing a smile the whole time. Seriously, this was such an amazing experience and I would throw another party there without question. Pump It Up takes all the anxiety out of the planning and allows the parents to have just as much fun as the kids! read more
