I have been working out now 2 months with Coach Jose and Vishal. I started with the 6 week challenge where I was set up with a meal and workout plan by Coach V. The food plan is is easy to prep which helped me alot! Coach V is good at answering texts when you have questions about the types of food that is on the plan. If you choose not to read my lengthy review, bottom line Coach Vishal is rude and immature. The negative review is not based on the services I received but on his behavior after. He began yelling at me over the phone. He was so disrespectful and aggressive I don't feel comfortable being in his presence. He also illegally charged my card. He also responded to this review with a lengthy email telling me I'm tremendously out of shape, amongst other things. Great way to body shame someone trying to get into shape. I made the mistake of inquiring about the "free" 4week booty challenge I saw on Facebook. You can pay $300 for the challenge or $400. With $400, if you lose a certain percentage of your body fat you get all your money back, if you don't you get $200 credit to roll into another program. I've belonged to gyms before but I'm unmotivated to go. I hate wasting money so I figured this challenge would help. You also can't miss any of the classes. I met with Coach Vishal 3/6 to sign up and pay $350, I had already left a $50 deposit. My training sessions were MWF for 1 hour. 3/9 I worked out with him and he told us after he would be out for surgery (why wouldn't you inform new clients of this so they could make the decision to sign up later). So, that Wednesday and Friday he had a substitute. During that week the whole Covid 19 happened. I contacted him 3/16 about my concerns because my roommates were super paranoid about the whole thing and didn't think the gym was safe, since they had started closing down places. He told me as a courtesy he could give me a credit for 9 sessions but he can't force me to workout. I said that's fine. I'll contact you in a couple weeks when this thing dies down (unbeknownst to me). That same week some gyms chose to be proactive and close but by 3/18 they were mandated, including The Gym. (You have to pay $40 for one month to join the gym to do the Pumpz challenge) Vishal did not reach out to any of his students. 3/24 I contacted him. I wanted to know about the challenge. He replied but didn't answer my question. On 3/27 he sent out a link to a free home workout, in case we didn't feel comfortable going to the gym (impossible since it's closed). 3/27 So since he had time to send messages, but couldn't reply to me, I contacted my bank to file a dispute because Vishal could no longer provide the services seeing as the gym was closed. None of us know when the stay home order will be lifted and it's unfair for him to keep all of my money. Anything could happen, he could go out of business, I could move die anything! So my bank withdrew the payment and gave me a temporary credit. Coach Vishal chose to simply charge my card again on 4/8. I called my cc company and they thought possibly I was set up for reoccurring payment. No I signed up for a one time 4 week challenge, meeting 3 times weekly MWF. Classes commenced 3/9 and set to end 4/3. So I disputed that charge too. Well 4/21 I received a phone call from Vishal. He said there's a problem with your payment. I said yes I disputed it after you didn't respond. He said I don't have time to respond to everybody. (But he's posting on fb about how bored he is and what else do you have to do, you can't work! ) I said well I'll be happy to pay again once this is lifted and gyms open. He said no it doesn't work that way. All my time that I put in making your diet (10 minutes). I said well I'll pay you $100 for the one week I attended. He became very irate started yelling at me. I said I'm not going to have this conversation right now with you like this. He said I didn't respond to the first notice (from my cc company) but I'll respond to the new one. I said you also illegally charged my card after they withdrew the payment. I ended up saying do what you have to do and hung up because how can you converse with someone that's arguing, yelling, and unreasonable. Vishal's behavior shows that he's a poor business man and doesn't respect his clients. I've read other Yelp reviews and he even called someone an idiot! I think Vishal only approaches women like this. He talks about wasting his time, but he wants to waste my money. It all started in May! I decided I would commit to the first gym that opened so I did. For years I had switched gyms left and right. I am a massive believer in the Law of attraction. Whatever it's something to do~~~ After being around some of the most motivational pro/ameture physique, power lifting and true body builders. I started to look at my training. I was going full throttle Seven days per week at The Gym and started to lean out, get my pre covid shape back! Then one day I really paid attention to Coach Vishal while he was training someone in The gym. Being a curious, outgoing go getter type I asked him some questions? He took the time to kind of evaluate me in an inderect manner. Then he offered to help me out with my diet!!! What a train wreck that was. All along I assumed I was eating right. I certainly wasn't. He gave me a direct diet blueprint for what I wanted. Powerlift my favorite pastime, bodybuilding my favorite new pastime. I signed up for an intensive training and diet package. I committed to myself! Go to the next level. Coach Vishal started by determining my strength! I did my first PR's with him and totaled 1460 on Bench squat and Deadlift. First baseline was about a month into training. Then we switched to bodybuilding! What a great experience!! Re learning the science behind shaping the body was amazing! COACH V always takes his time in answering your serious questions. He always helps guide you through your stupidity without ever making you feel stupid! Priceless!! So my second PR week 6 weeks after the first earned Vishal legend status in my short list of amazing coaches. Football, baseball, wrestling, strength. Going into PR week I was a mess. Sore, anxious, scared. At the end of PR week I crushed my goals, previous PR'S 1605. 500 BENCH 585 SQUAT 520 DEADLIFT. Never imagined any of this was possible at 41 years old. The split second my wife has her kneck, shoulder surgery complete. Vishal will gain her as well!! I am better through 2020 because of Vishal and PumpZfitness. AVOID Coach Vishal at all cost!!! If you are considering this trainer, please take time to read my lengthy review. He is the most unprofessional and impertinent I've ever encountered. So here is what happened -- I purchased 10 personal training sessions from him. First, the quality of the training session is questionable. the first session he was late for 5 mins(the session is only 30mins), and was constantly checking his phone during the session. But he was kinda doing his job, so I didn't say anything. Second, he is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. He notified me that he had to cancel the session LESS THAN ONE HOUR beforehand, and I was already on my way to the gym. However when I asked if I can reschedule my session because I had an emergency customer meeting, he denied my request, and his logic was funny. He told me when he canceled my session less than one hour beforehand, I DIDNT lose anything since I still get the credit of the lesson, and told me he waste his time when I wanted to reschedule (and I told him like 4 hours beforehand ), How selfish and ignorant is that! Third, DO NOT pay him beforehand cuz he will NEVER refund the money back to you. since I was very unhappy with his service, I asked if I can get the refund for my future session since there's no term on the contract said the fund is non-refundable. Being prior military I always worried about the way I looked but soon after I left, my fitness desire went downhill. I tried for years to get back to my military days but just could not find the motivation to do it. I have struggled with my weight most of my adult life. With that being said I have tried numerous diets, fads, exercises and everything else in between. TERRIBLE customer service. They don't care about people. They are RUDE to potential customers/ clients who may be interested in working with them. They called me ignorant and told me they don't need my business and that I should just "keep scrolling" past their ad on Facebook. Why? Because I kept seeing the ad, it looked interesting, there were never any comments though which usually means the company is deleting them for some reason, which looks shady. I had already signed up for an orientation, but I wanted to talk to people who may have worked with them before. I left a comment to the effect of: "Has anybody done this before? I keep seeing this ad and it looks interesting, but there are never any comments (which looks kind of shady). I just want more info from someone who may have done it before I decide to commit." Guess what... They deleted my comment and messaged me that I should "do research before leaving ignorant comments". Not, "oh, would you like more information?" Or "can we answer any questions you may have?" Nope! Just a rude message to someone who just wanted to learn more. So, after baby #2, I had found myself back at square one with weight loss. I was having a very difficult time getting my diet under control and was constantly reaching for convenience foods that I didn't even like but just needed to get through the day. I was steady increasing my weight by a half pound a week. Awful!! So I took advantage of this nutrition challenge and it was awesome. Coach Vishal handed me an eating plan and gave me 4 days a week of personal training and I did everything he told me to do. The results: In six weeks I lost 11 pounds. My deadlift went from 205lb to 245lb and my chest press went from 125lb to 135lb. The best results cannot be quantified...I FEEL so much better now that I removed the crap from my diet. I concur with all of the negative comments below regarding this trainer's abhorrent behavior and terrible customer service. This gym tries to trick people by promoting a "free" program. I signed up to attend an orientation because I was interested in the program because of the ad. I came on yelp to review the gym and noticed other customers complained about being tricked about the program. I then texted the trainer back to tell him I was not interested in a paid program but rather, as stated in the ad, interested in a free program. I also told him I did not want to waste anyone's time. Rather than reply to my text, the dude just canceled the appointment and didn't say anything. As a fellow business owner, I cannot stand people and businesses that do this type of crap. I have trained with many gyms and people. Fitness and health also incorporates how you treat people and the energy you put out in the world. This negative, poor quality gym does not deserve anyone's business. Feel free to contact me. But you will get reviews that you deserve and definitely will not recommend you to anyone. I been working out with coach Vishal for a couple of months now and I wanna say it has been rewarding. I enjoy coming in and working out in a group setting. I feel that I still get a good amount of attention within the group setting and I can truly say that I been meeting such great people which is beyond priceless because, we been motivating each other to eat better and stay on top of our fitness goals. This gym has no current reviews, so when I saw an ad on Facebook the first thing I did was Yelp it and most reviews are old or negative. I decided to call and make an appointment. I met with the Coach Vishal and I gave a deposit to save my spot. Unfortunately, my son got sick and we were in the hospital all weekend. I had to cancel my appointment twice bc of this. The response I got from the coach was that i was wasting his time, when I spoke to him on the phone he was rude and said that he would give me one last chance even after they had charged me $50 to save my spot, ummm Okay I was a bit confused, so please tell me how I paid them to save my spot and he was telling me that he was giving me a last chance, after he had already gotten $50 from me. He doesn't care for his clients, he obviously only cares for the money. After I notified Coach Vishal that I no longer needed his services he rudely replied that he was keeping the deposit because I wasted his time. I decided not to give this gym any more of my money because of the hostile attitude he delivers. I am all about positive and motivating souls, he clearly is not one. Multiple people have reported them to the BBB--I cancel an appointment in 2018 and then another appointment in 2019 and they told me I was no longer allowed to book with them. I'm truly blessed to have found such wonderful trainers who truly don't play and hold you accountable. After losing 130lbs on my own I needed to start toning up and reaching my weight goals. I've gone to many places but I don't feel the trainers were serious. I reached a point to where I really needed someone to Push me and a place with a great support system. I saw Pumpz Fitness on Facebook and reached out to make an appointment. I met with Vishal who broke down the whole program and one of the first things he said to me that caught my attention was, he said "I really need to know that you are serious about this" he said I take my program very seriously and I don't like to waste time that I can be helping others who are serious about getting healthy etc. After I heard that I knew this guy was serious and this is how serious I should be about losing weight and change my life style. Another plus if you struggled or had questions Vishal did not mind you bugging him, he will always text you back. Pumpz Fitness is the real deal! I started the 6 week challenge in November and just completed it on Christmas Eve. I reached my goal and lost a total of 10% of my body weight! Found Pumpz on Yelp and decided to give it a shot with the 6 week challenge. I was given a detailed nutrition plan and trained with Rodney Mon-Thurs for an hour with a small group for 6 weeks. I had really great results and I think there are a few reasons for that: 1)The people who signed up were also motivated and great support, 2)There's a lot of accountability when you're working consistently with a good trainer and have weight-checks weekly, 3)The nutrition plan worked for my specific goals and body type. I signed up for more training after the 6 week challenge ended and worked out with Pumpz for ~10 months and lost more than 20lbs and built muscle so that it looked like I lost a lot more. Vishal updated my nutrition plan as I lost weight and had regular check-ins with each of us. I'm not sure I've ever felt as good or strong and would highly recommend this company to anyone who has some goals and needs some help. read more

My first thought that this was just a typical gym with regular trainers but I was thrilled to see experienced trainers and so many success stories around the whole entire office! Vishal has the best program for real weight loss that stays off. I have met so many of the women who did the six week challenge and I cannot believe how incredible they look! My jaw had dropped! Pumpz Fitness is life changing. I walked into to train with Coach Vishal and thought after training with other coaches it would be similar to the other experiences I had. It wasn't. Pumpz fitness is a combination of strengthening, sculpting, nutrition and not just having a coach but having a strong warrior spirit beside you helping you on your journey to your best self. In my case it was a best self that was beyond what I thought it was. There is an authentic caring, pushing, and support in that otherwise very challenging journey. I would recommend Pumpz fitness to anyone that wants to reset goals, then reset them higher. In a world of super powers his is real. And that's because he is not only an excellent coach, but one with a kind heart. I am grateful to him- and quite frankly if you appreciate dad jokes and a silliness mixed with fierce warrior, you're gonna agree that he's worth waking up in the morning for and being pushed to become a super hero yourself. One day I ran across the quote "You can't out exercise a bad diet" and it hit close to home. I had been doing that for years. As a Jazzercise Instructor I was never lacking for exercise. Lots of cardio and some strength training multiple times a week. In December 2012 I decided it was time to make a change and start eating healthier. Over the course of 3 months I lost 10 pounds. In April 2013, I joined the gym where my husband works out and asked if there was someone that could help me figure out how to use all of the equipment. That's when I met Vishal. I signed up to train with him for a minimum of 6 months, but I wasn't really sure what to expect. Working with Vishal helped me in several different ways. He provided me with a food plan and then held me accountable. I met with Vishal twice a week, working with weights (arms and legs). He was always asking how my eating was going, how I felt, and encouraged me to keep going. And there was the Friday morning weekly text to send my weight. My original goal was to lose approx. 20 pounds - enough to feel and look better. But Vishal encouraged me to not stop there, but to take it to the next level. During the next 7 months, I lost 30 pounds, developed and toned muscles I didn't know I had, and dropped from a size 12 to a size 4/6. I continued to teach Jazzercise with more energy and confidence. I bought my first pair of skinny jeans and participated in a photo shoot, something I would have never before considered. As someone that previously was not happy with how I looked, I am slowly changing my self image to be that of someone very fit and toned. My experience working with Vishal has been great. If you are looking to make a change, I would definitely recommend Vishal. I would have never thought I could achieve the success I have, and I know I could not have done this alone. I participated in the Pumpz Fitness 6week challenge and was able to lose 10%of my weight. Max, the trainer i worked with is very knowledgeable and was there for me every step of the way. He encourage me and pushed me to do my best every single work out. He helped with the anxiety weightlifting gave me. The classes were small and intimate which allowed the trainer to spend time with every single participant. Vishal designed an awesome meal plan for my lifestyle and kept me accountable throughout the challenge. My stamina and strength increased. At first the challenge started as a weight loss chalIenge for me but at the end of the 6wks it had become much more than that. My mindset was different.
