Read the contract! Business owners cannot pay the rent with hugs & story telling. Yes!! businesses are exactly that! A business! I run a business as well. Not a charity. Though we do give back to the community in many forms. A few years back, I signed up my two children for Tiger Shulman, the contract was for a year and the total was almost $6000.00. And though the Sensei was nice & cool with us, he was still running a business and rightfully expected payment. If one of my clients said one thing, and did another and gave me the runaround, - and not paid their monthly invoice, Id have "NO BUSINESS" and livelihood. Get a grip. Read your contract. Do your homework before wasting everyone's valuable time and efforts.

UPDATE: I've also now done kickboxing and Insanity (once both in a row). Insanity is super challenging but you can still go at your own pace. The kickboxing class was great (I've done lots) and you can get one on one help when/if you need it. I normally do regular boxing, so I needed extra help with my kicks. Bought a 10 pack for $120. It is an INTENSE workout with great instructors &…read moreI liked that there was other workouts incorporated into the class (using the ropes, using weights, etc.) This is also one of the cheapest options around in terms of a kickboxing gym! However, I decided to not become a full time member for a few reasons.. 1, when you buy classes or a groupon, there is a limited amount of time you can use your classes before they expire. If you don't use all the classes you purchased, you lose them. 2, you have to sign up at least 1/2 hour before class & if you cancel within that time frame, they will charge you for a late cancel. 3, I signed up for a few classes, & a half hour before class, I was told I was the only one who signed up and there wouldn't be a class. I have 2 small children so it is difficult for me to sign up ahead of time, get a babysitter, & then have class cancelled and I wind up not going at all. This is an amazing workout however in a positive atmosphere! If the above 3 don't really bother you then you should definitely go esp because it's much cheaper than many other places.
