I placed an order for Chicken Tikka Masala to go, and unfortunately, the chicken was extremely rubbery, tough, and dried out--likely because it's made with chicken breast instead of thighs. I really wanted to like this place since I just moved a block away, and the staff was very friendly. The flavor and portion size were a bit underwhelming. Wow. Great food. I undertand there was an ownership change. It is a big improvement. The menu, venue and quality have moved up! We shared a mixed tandoori grill, a sample of meats. It was fantastic. OMG! We discovered this place while running errands in Ft. Worth (we live in Granbury). By far this place had the best Indian food we've ever had! In the 1-1/2 years we've lived here in TX, today's late lunch at Bombay Grill was the BEST MEAL we've had (dining at 20+ restaurants). We highly recommend getting the assorted bread/naan basket (3 types of freshly baked, wonderfully charred naan). The Chicken Tikka Masala was wonderful and the Tandori Mixed Grill plate was excellent, too. Kind, courteous service. We can't wait to go back. I enjoyed it so much I tipped the chef $20.00! Great place to get spinach paneer . H they have great service and clean space . The buffet was the best !!!

Their dishes just have no flavor. Vindaloo was as spicy as water. Garlic Naan was lacking garlic. I don't know how it's possible but even the rice is bland (usually it's flavored with some spices) Wish I'd have checked the reviews before trying it but if you're looking for flavor, this is not the place for it. I like my mouth burning when I eat curries and Indian dishes that even say "very spicy" on the menu. Watery, bland and all around disappointing experience. read more

The food. It has been a couple of years since I ate here due to the quality of the food taking a dip. I was craving Indian food today and did not want to drive to Arlington for it. I read most recent reviews about new owners and improvements so I ordered $100 worth of food to give it another try with the change. It was actually worse than before and I ate the naan only. It sucks there are not a lot of Indian food options in my vicinity so when I'm desperate i go to this place, but i wish there were other options. Their food is hit or miss, packaging is poor (Styrofoam for everything, except aluminum for their breads) but their naan is ALWAYS a miss. At the price tag they carry its extremely disappointing. I love Indian and Pakistani cuisine and I've had a lot of trouble finding decent Indian in FTW. Well, I finally found a place that doesn't disappoint me. Me and my coworkers just order from this restaurant through a food delivery app. Through no fault of the delivery driver, we got our order wrong. There was a total of 3 different order, each with its own individual portion that should have arrived as such. When we received our food all the rice was put into one container making it difficult to share evenly among 3 people. I can understand the restaurant wanting to save space by using one container but it is inconvenient when is for multiple people. They also did not give us any sauces that normally come with the food. We specifically order the garlic and we did not receive the garlic. Very disappointed not getting what we paid for. The coworker that suggested this place gave it great praise so I was like "sure why not" but this experience sadly did not give me a great experience. The level of spice that one of my coworker order was medium but it tasted like they did not even put any spice to it. It was very mild. On top of that they burnt our simonas! They should have check before sending them to us. The nan bread was also packaged together which is not that hard to split but they did not give us enough for the 3 of us. Upon opening the bag it was delivered in you could tell it was just thrown together to get it out the door and did not care about the quality of their food. I would not recommend order take out from this restaurant but maybe you will have a better experience dinning in. read more

Let me start by saying the flavors were good and just as good a I remembered from like 2015. I got the Bombay Grill Special and for the most part it was all really flavorful. My wife got the chicken Tikka Masala, also very flavorful. The issue almost all the meat was dry. Especially the chicken Tikka Masala meat. It was almost so over cooked that it was almost powdery. The rest of the meat was better but not by much. Again, overall very flavorful but the meat was lacking. Definitely not the restaurant that left a lasting impression 7 years ago. read more

I am from England, don't let them fool you that the national dish is fish and chips. It is actually a good Indian curry. It's a go to after any night out. The food here is pretty damn good, while the service is lacking a little personality. Food is tasty, flavorful, spicy as you want, and exceptionally prompt. A little too prompt for me as I like to have space between courses but that's just my preference as a European. I've lived in the states for 22 years and I still like things to be slowed down a little. We will definitely come back. read more

I have been going to this restaurant for years, and I love it. They have good food that is often well spiced. I love the atmosphere as well. It is a nice quiet place with good service. I love their mango lassi and their rice is just the best. I would absolutely recommend this place and it makes me so sad they don't get enough recognition. read more

Food-meh, a little watered down and all curry based dishes tend to taste very similar with little difference in texture and flavors. I ordered lunch pick and was sorely disappointed in the service. I was greeted with a grunt, the usual repeated question about what name the order was under (due to wrong orders being picked up I'm sure), then with no words or thanks, the bag was thrown from the back onto the counter and the gentleman walked away. I yelled out "thank you have a nice day" and he grunted. The place was badly lit, definitely needs updating. Older furniture and decor. The buffet looked pretty alright (it was around 12 on Friday) and there were about 3 tables dining in. I have visited this restaurant for the very last time. I thought I would try it again since I hadn't been back here in a couple years. I took my mom for lunch on a Sunday. The server seemed perturbed that we were there more than a full hour before the end of service. The buffet was missing several items. The naan was hard and crispy from sitting on the hot table too long. We were asked numerous times if we were done so they could clean up. They were so rude I was embarrassed that I took my mother here. They even asked another person who came in after us to move tables even though the restaurant had no other customers. Do not go here. They offer delivery through various services but they always short your order or get something wrong. I called and their response was "you should come pick it up and check it". My friend and I went to Bombay Grill for a lunch a few weeks ago and it was just OK. We ate at the buffet and honestly, nothing stood out. The chicken was extremely fatty and the flavors were overall bland. The best thing on the menu were the meatballs - they definitely had some flavor. This place used to be good and has only gotten better. The lunch buffet is good, better than average for sure. But the dinner menu is when they really step it up. They will bust out an appetizer where they just pick stuff for you and it's all good. We usually get lamb curry and chicken tika but most recently went with lamb saag and it's my new atf. This family has been feeding us Indian food for nearly 30 years! Our favorite dishes are the Saag Paneer and Chicken Tikka Masala. However nothing on the menu has ever disappointed us. TIP: if you're ordering takeout, give the friendly staff a call instead of ordering here through Grubhub. They're charging the business 30% to use this service! That's astronomical. Good variety and amazing flavor. NO, they're not super spicy but come on guys, this is a BUFFET. They're not catering to just ONE person. Some things are spicy, some aren't but all have really nice spice balance and rich flavors. The only two things I didn't care for were the tikka masala and the meatballs. Tikka Masala was bland and the meatballs tasted like they came from a freezer. The sauce they were in was one of the best though! The naan was a little too overdone for my taste but it was fresh and made there! Easily fixable. I managed to beat the lunch crowd by just a few minutes but it filled up pretty quickly. No problem for Bombay though! They kept the line stocked and fresh. They were also incredibly sweet and attentive. My favorite things were the saag with little bits of paneer and something that resembled a curry on the cold end of the bar. It was in a small container so it may have been a sauce but it was chunky like a salsa and had a wonderful heat and hint of lemongrass. It WAS spicy but that just made me love it more. Whenever I eat Indian food I crave it for about another week so I'm sure I'll be back there soon. I'm excited to try out the full menu. read more

I dropped in for a late lunch hoping to have their lunch buffet. Regrettably the buffet is only available Fri-Sun now ,but the Chicken Sagwalla I had from the menu was delicious! They seem to do a good take out lunch business, but I was late in the lunch hour and no other diners present. I was courteously served, however, and the food was very good - just the right amount of seasoning to remain subtle and most flavorful! I've been here a couple times and I think it's pretty good especially being a buffet. There's a certain low quality of food I usually expect from buffets unless it's in Vegas, but this one doesn't make me feel like I'm eating low quality food. They don't have a huge selection of options but they do have some of the main items such as chicken tikka masala, tandoori chicken, naan, rice .. the basics. They also offer salads, fruit, and vegetarian dishes as well. The staff members are really attentive making sure your glasses are always full. What they don't really do is explain how they operate so if it's your first time you have to ask. When you come in the give you a table and then you can just go straight to the food area and get food. When you're done you don't have to wait for a check, you just go to the back which is where the register is and you pay. I think they should assume people won't know that and explain to everybody that comes in, or at least ask if they've ever been there first. read more

I live in Dallas and every opportunity we have , we dine here at this place, the waiter knows exactly what we order everytime, 2 samosa starters (fresh potato , onion, garlic, peas and heavenly spices wrapped in a fellow dough and deep fried)- seriously cannot go wrong there, I order the Paneer Masala (cheese in masala sauce) very yummy, my friends order the chicken tikka masala and the vagetable curry, this comes with basmati rice, and of course an order of regular Naan bread, and qeema Naan (beef mixed in bread) very yummmy!!!
