Don't want to ding them with a lower rating but we haven't been back since the original review. They are booked and are 't able to see my dog for weeks so I found a place in Santa Clarita that can see him the next day. Prices are the same and his haircuts come out a little more uniform where this place they missed a few spots and his ears didn't match. Will keep trying to get him in again as they are super close to me so would love to have them be our go to. read more

I used to love bringing my dog here. THATS UNTIL THEY CUT HER NIPPLE OFF AN DIDNT MENTION ANYTHING TO ME OTHER THAN A LECTURE ABOUT GROOMING. I was out of town and when I got back my dog's hair was bad I couldn't even get a comb to enter. I didn't worry though because I knew I had Pups n Style to help. After all it is their specialty right? When I picked up Mila, I was literally met with literally this expression () on everyone's face. One of the girls came and showed me what looked like a little dog jacket only to realize it was Mila's hair. I thought it was cute at first but it wasn't until she let me know how serious her matts were that I QUICKLY REALIZED I NEEDED TO START TAKING BETTER CARE OF HER FUR. Fast forward my brother pointed out a spot on her bare chest (she had gotten a shave down because again ... just bad fur) that seemed to be glued dog fur. It was then I realized they had used fur and glue to cover the injury that they had caused. The wound was about half the size of a penny. Mind you this was DAYS LATER!!!! I UNDERSTAND MAYBE SCOLDING A TEENAGER (at the time) TO GET HER TO UNDERSTAND THE IMPORTANCE OF AT HOME DAILY GROOMING BUT TO NOT EVEN INFORM ME/FAMILY OF AN INJURY THAT SERIOUS ... baffled me. Pups n style had been styling my pups and my families pups for years. I was very disappointed to leave but NAIVE to know this could've been a very good time for a lawsuit. read more

I really like this place because they do such a great job with grooming. Definitely one of the better places I've been too and even better than a ritzy place in the studio city/Sherman oaks area. We had an appointment two weeks ago and when our pup came back she had a round scab inside her ear and a spot on her neck that's round and scabbed over too. We didn't notice it for a day or two and luckily it scabbed over, fell off and was nothing major but still upset that nobody said anything. Every time I go I ask if the dog does well because she does not like the groomers at all so that way I can see about giving her cbd or something to make it easier for them and her. I'm am so pleased to have chosen this grooming place. We took our fur baby in for her first hair trimming and bath at a groomer. They took such good care of her! The place is covid safe and pet safe. They keep your pet near and in a kennel. Plenty of local parking. I gave special instructions and they followed them to perfection. I can wait to bring her back in a few weeks! It was my 6 month old puppy's 1st grooming session and I was a bit nervous about it since she's so little but I was told she did very well which is great to hear! I don't know where to start. You might like their style for dog cuts but i've gone here for a long time and each separate time they never give me what I ask for. Sucks too because they charged me $55 for something I didn't ask for and FLEAS! The last 2 times I took my dog here, she's come back with fleas and she is an indoor dog, so the likelihood of her having fleas on her own is super slim, especially since we take good care of her. To take care of fleas it is so expensive for the medicine or shampoo to clean her especially AFTER her new wash and cut! Entering the facility, if you pay attention their building is filthy. I understand it is for dog grooming, but for there to be huge chunks and amounts of fur on the floor and counters (where they cut the hair) is unclean and increases the risk of fleas. I wouldn't be surprised if they don't sanitize or use clean implements for every pet. Now my poor baby has fleas and i have to tend to that AGAIN. Also, they just put your dog in the kennel with no care and I also doubt they clean those regularly as well. My last few experiences have been disgusting and disappointing as they used to be good but i don't know what has happened. This establishment has gone seriously down hill, I do NOT recommend taking your dogs here, especially if you actually care and love them. read more

I took my dogs to this groomer. I specifically asked for a bath only, no sanitary, no eyes, etc. nothing but a bath. The groomer didn't do what I asked for. When I came back to pick up my 3 dogs, the sanitary areas were completely shaved, around their eyes, and nose. They looked horrible. The owner Tina wasn't there and when she got back I called her to tell her about this situation and she then told me that she would talk to the groomer that did the grooming. I talked to another groomer and showed them my dogs and she said she should give me my money back. I called her and I said you should give me at least half back and she said she would give me the entire amount back. She told me to come in after Christmas Tuesday the 26th of December. I went to her shop and she only gave me half of the money and called me a scam artist. I don't recommend anyone to go to this groomer ever. read more

They also really take good care of her and everyone working seem to really care for animals which is a major plus. we usually like to take our dogs here for a groom and liked that they're affordable than most of the places we used to go to. this recent time though, we decided that we're no longer going to bring our dogs here as they don't ever listen to the instructions given when they ask us what we'd like them to do. multiple times i've given instructions of how we'd like our dog's face to be trimmed and to not shave her tail, but every single time we pick up our dogs she's just shaved fully NOT how we asked them to do. (even though i was told they never shave the tail off but my dog always comes back with her tail BALD or another time when i was told that the groomers just "go for it" and sometimes doesn't realize that we requested for them not to touch her tail...so like is no one reading the cards they write down requests on???). at this point we're convinced that they ask just for a formality then do their own thing because it's easier for them to do so. i've referred my friends and family here to get their dogs groomed and one of my friends called me upset that they asked her how they should groom her dog just for her to pick her dog up completely shaved and not at all how she wanted it to be. my friend was confused as to why they even ask how she wants her dog's hair cut if they're just gonna freestyle it themselves LMAO can't complain about how they do our other dog since all they have to do is give her a bath which i hope i pretty straightforward haha as much as i'd like to continue to bring my dogs here, i'd rather pay a place that will listen to the owner's request and for us to actually like how our dog's groom comes out rather than nitpicking all the things this place does wrong. read more

I am a frequent customer, I brought my Golden in today and they butchered him. They shaved his legs, (see picture) his skin is bare. I am so disappointed. They cut my Golden Retriever as if he were a poodle. I spoke with the regular people I deal with and they offered no condolences, except to say they have a a new girl and they scolded her. What good does that do when they need to educate this "new girl" on how to groom my dog who is a frequent customer. Beware the new girl I never asked for a trim on my dog. read more

I WAS a happy customer until today. I have an appointment set up for my dog and was calling to see if there was any openings later in the day. The person who answered the phone was very sarcastic and laughing asking me what time I wanted to bring my dog in. After I asked what times were available she said they had no availability but would take my dog at what ever time I wanted to. Did not appreciate that kind of service. A simple "we do not have any open slots" would have sufficed. I would have kept my appointment as is. When I asked to cancel my appointment she just said thank you and hung up. read more

Very nice staff and a clean professional doggie salon. They were careful and caring with my fur baby and that is the MOST IMPORTANT thing to me. My only complaints are that I asked for a natural looking cut and explained exactly how long I wanted his hair to be left, and unfortunately his hair was cut much shorter than I had told them I wanted. I had asked to speak to the person who was going to be grooming my little boy(because I have had the same problem with two other grooming places in the past and wanted to be sure his hair wouldn't be cut too short again) but I was told it wasn't possible to speak with the groomer ,but they would tell her my instructions. Which unfortunately were not followed. The other two things I think can improved is that they told me he would be ready within about 2 hours, but stayed over 4. And lastly, I wish they used more natural and organic products. But as I said before the most important thing for me when using a groomer is that my baby is well cared for in a gentle manner and that he's safe, and I am confident that they treated him with kindness and compassion. I am going to give them another chance because of this, but will bring pictures of how I want his hair cut. Note to owner, please consider adding some natural grooming products, and thank you for keeping my baby safe. read more

I used to take my puppy Meeko here. Now I have a pitbull also named Malakai... Malakai is a sweet loveable puppy, he's 1 year old and is just a ball of love and energy. I brought him here due to my experience with Meeko. WELL, I will NEVER bring him here again. The first thing the girl at the front said was "oh my god, it's a pitbull, come here that's dangerous" and moved the cat they had on the top of the counter. 1. My dog CANNOT jump that high. 2. Malakai was not even INTERESTED in the cat, he was going straight to the back where they keep the kennels. I was absolutely appalled. You work at a DOG grooming business, if you make that comment about my baby, I can only imagine how you'd treat him... Possibly explains why his grooming always looked half done. I used to love Tina's work. She was dedicated to the pups and seemed to love what she did. I began to notice that her weekends were extremely busy and I became worried that my dogs would not get the same attention as before. If I took my dogs on Saturday they would be there all day. Since I was not sure if they were fed or not I would make sure that I left them with a small pouch of food. Well, one day my sister dropped of my dogs to get groomed and when I called if they were ready to be picked up Tina did not mention to me that she had cut my dog's ear. She told my sister that it was my dog's fault because she had moved and was zero sympathetic. When I called her to ask why she had not mentioned to me when I talked to her she was not able to explain herself. I mentioned that she should have offered some sort of discount to demonstrate some sort of apology and she blatantly said that it was not her fault but my pets' fault. Of course it is going to be her fault if you are hurried because you have to groom 20 other dogs and you no longer dedicate the same time nor have the same patience as before. As I mentioned to Tina, I am no longer happy with your service and will be taking my pups elsewhere. read more

They did a great job with my Maltese mix. This was the first time she had gone to the groomers so she wasn't the most pleasant of dogs (and she's a bit of a bully) but nonetheless, everyone here was great with her. They finished within the time frame they said they would. I couldn't be happier with how she came out looking and smelling super clean. And PRICE WAS GREAT!!! I've never owned a fufu dog before so I have no idea what their maintenance is like but they took the time and offered me advice on how to care for her coat. They also assured me that it was normal for doggies to be a bit on edge their first time at the groomers or when they're puppies (which was a bit of a relief for me). Overall, I felt my dog was well taken care of and in safe hands. I will definitely be taking her back (hopefully next time she won't be so feisty). I'm Very happy with this place :) read more

Please avoid yourself the disappointment!! I made an appointment for my dog for Friday at 12 pm. Dropped him off right at 12 and I was not able to pick him up until 6pm. What's the point of an appointment if they're still going to have him in a crate for that long? I called at 3 and the girl on the phone said they had not started him yet. I then called around 5 pm to see if he would be ready soon, and she girl on the phone seemed annoyed. She must of thought she muted me but she didn't and she said "they're the last ones to get here and the first ones to be calling"... uhm... you told me to get there at 12..? Anyways, her excuse as to why it took that long was that they were short staffed. I've been going here for about 6 years, and they always seem to be short staffed. Almost every single time. Maybe you should get new or more employees? I then arrive to pick him up and when they bring him out he has very patchy spots. He has very sensitive skin, which he's had every other times I've brought him here, but it's never been an issue until this time. I ask the girl that brought him out what happened and she says it's because of his skin. I'm am appalled considering he's always had it and he's never looked like this after being groomed. Tina comes out and she says the same thing. Tina is the owner and the person that groomed him. However it looked like an apprentice groomed him. I feel like they rushed to from him which is why he looked the way he did. I'm extremely disappointed. I will no longer be coming back with any of my dogs. read more
