Originally took my very nervous dog there for his anal gland drainage. Came back for a full grooming and he appeared to be very comfortable with the staff. The staff is very kind and welcoming. I dropped my dog off for grooming with a 9am appointment and came back to get him at 11:30am. Pretty standard as most groomers require a couple hours. Most affordable groomer I have found in the Valley. He's soft and smells good, but not perfumed. This will definitely be a regular appointment for him. Thank you Puppy Palace! read more

Do not take your dogs to this establishment, when i got my dogs back after taking them here for a grooming, they both smelled like feces, like they had been rolling around in it. On top of that, they both ended up sick and ended up having diahrea immediately afterwards. I ended up having to take both of my dogs to the vet, where they both had some sort of bacteria in their system, where they both needed antibiotics and had to stay at the vet all day with IV's in them to get them back to health, I spent over 2500 in medical bills because of how unsanitary this establishment is. If you love your pets, do not take them here. read more

The owner is hands on, the staff are all amazing pet LOVERS and the best part is they use mostly all natural products. We love Puppy Palace and so do our dogs! Call a day or so in advance as they do book up )because they are sooo good) and I don't think they have the ability to take walk ins. This is our most recent adoption Daisy Jane, we think she is part chihuahua and definitely part Jack Russel terrier. We just picked her up from Puppy Palace and she had a moisturizing bath, a flea treatment (ugh she had a bunch) and a hair cut and nail trim. She looks great, feels great and is a happy girl! Took both my frenchies to get groomed for the first time and decided to go with a small business instead of a large corporate grooming center. This place must have changed owners because there's NO WAY the old people would have left both dogs ears dirty !!! If I just wanted to give them a bath I could've done that at home. I've been coming here for years and have taken many of my dogs here, and have never had an issue until most recently. I've taken 2 of my dogs recently and both experiences have resulted in them not being able to complete their services. After dropping my dog off today I got a call an hour later saying they were only able to give her half of a haircut because she was moving around & they were not comfortable giving her the other half. SHE IS A DOG. All dogs move around!!!! It seems like more recently they've hired groomers who are not equipped or have the experience in grooming dogs. My dog was left butchered. I found it so unprofessional that even after they showed me how butchered she looked they still charged me. HIRE BETTER PEOPLE. This is ridiculous. read more

Maggie's can be overly anxious and snappy, she is a good girl but had been severely abused and found thrown in a trash dumpster.The Puppy Palace always accommodates Maggie's issuies. We were customers for years with our pups. I don't know what changed with them, but our dog did not want to go in and couldn't wait to leave. neither could I. last time I arrived there was big globs of dog hair everywhere, a big puddle of urine on the floor, and if the public area is that bad, how bad is the back? My labradoodle (who I agreed needed to be shaved) looked like he had been cut with really dull clippers. The price had gone way up and the quality way down. Very sad. read more

She had one side of her " chopped " and she wasn't blown dry so tons fur snippings were EVERYWHERE in the car and our shirts when we picked her up. read more

Our mini schnauzer came home half groomed. She was there for five hours and she came home looking choppy with half of her original hair hanging off of her. Her face looked like she didn't even get a bath with crusty eye goops she had before being dropped off. Save your $65 and go somewhere else. What a joke! read more

I took my dog to The Puppy Palace last Saturday and when I came to pick him up, the groomers had lost his collar (which contained his name & my phone number). I waited in the shop for about 10 minutes and no luck on finding it by Melissa. She told me she would wait until the end of the day to check again. I get a call at around 6:00PM, from Melissa, notifying me the collar had been found. (I have screenshot proof showing that she called me at this time) Great! Right? No. At this point, their shop was closed. I couldn't pick it up the next day because they are closed on Sundays. Monday-Friday they close at 5:00PM... Awesome. I get off work at 5:00PM so, there's no way I could have picked it up during the week until the following Saturday (today). I had to wait one full week to get it back, that means my dog was without a name tag for 7 days because of their MISTAKE. Today, I picked up my dog's collar and asked if there was any sort of compensation they could provide since my dog was without his name tag for 7 days. The woman at the front desk (I assume is the owner) replied, "Melissa contacted you as soon as we found it." That reply was unacceptable. Melissa called me at 6:00PM on Saturday, I couldn't pick it up on Sunday because they're closed, and I work until 5:00PM on weekdays. The 'owner' then told me she could discount me $10 off my next appointment. I was really outraged at this point but did not want to escalate further. I do not have plans to bring my dog to a groomer who thinks that $10 is enough to compensate for this issue. God forbid my dog were to get lost the week he was without his name tag, and they think that $10 is enough to compensate that? This shows me they do not care about their customers, let alone the dogs they work with. The workers here act like they have never owned a pet and have no understanding of how important a dog collar is. Worst. Experience. With. A. Groomer. read more

I used to take my beloved dogs here for many years. Reading the reviews I feel the need to say something myself. The last times I went I was talked to rudely by one of the staff about my one of my dogs having fleas when I went to pick up. That he is infested with them! When they knew he had them when we dropped him off. When I took him, I said he needed a flea bath treatment they do because we've been managing them with constant baths, and started meds and want to take extra precaution before he would get worse and get rid of them again. He was always outside in nature in our backyard and would get them and we did everything to help him get rid of them each time. The med actually made him sick and he died not long after. Be careful about what medication you get for fleas. My other dog on her last visit, was bleeding and had cuts in her skin folds. I didn't notice until she got home. She was dark haired, and very old but active. I never took her back again from being skinned like that. I from then shampooed and all that myself at home. All my dogs are gone now, and I wish they never went here from the horrible treatment they received along with me. Please find another place. read more

Don't take your pet to get groomed here ! They mistreat the animals especially the main groomer Arturo. He shoves / drags them out of the cages. When he does teeth scaling he pins the animal down to the table with his elbow. They wash the dogs and leave them wet in cages for hours. I 've been taking my two small dogs there for much of the last year. It was convenient and Melissa was very nice. Their work was OK EXCEPT an ongoing failure to clip my dog's nails. Despite my asking each time to have them short and smooth (I have to be careful not to be scratched) they continued to let the hails grow and curl downward. My dog's nails were clicking on the floors and she licked her paws a lot. I finally did some research and found these two signs are specifically of nails too long. WAY TOO LONG! When I again discussed this with Melissa before making another appointment she told me to "take them to the Vet". NEEDLESS TO SAY i WON'T BE GOING BACK THERE. read more
