    Pupusa

It has been almost a year since dining here. It's my absolute favorite spot for Pupusas. We dined between lunch and dinner on a Sunday. We sat ourselves at an open booth on the left. Love the decorations of medals and awards! You have to be patient for this savory goodness. I unfortunately was hangry. I started with the empanada plantain with sweet cream. It hit the spot. He started with the sweet corn tamale. I ordered the Chicharron y Queso Pupusa and the Zucchini y Spinach y Queso Pupusa, my friend ordered the Chicharron y Frijoles y Queso and Zucchini y Spinach y Queso. When they were delivered, they got it mixed up. I got his and he got mine, not a huge deal but I was so hungry I already topped mine with Curtido and salsa and dug in so we didn't switch. I love how consistent this restaurant is. We always get good service. Definitely younger faces this visit. They did away with the folded menus. It's just one laminated menu.

This food is not authentic be aware

This place is very rude and unsanitary I had literally just bought food from this restaurant went to 7-Eleven after I visit my brother on the other side of this Plaza remind you I'm a paying customer so therefore I should have Within a certain amount of hours to be there in the lot I guess these people have a grudge against me cuz they said that I was blocking their doorway which was a lie and me not knowing anything that's going on I still moved my vehicle away from the door supposedly and I parked it on the other side and away from their restaurant and they still had my vehicle towed

Atol de elote, pupusas, plátano maduro, Mhm. Everything always delicious, couldn't ask for anything more - service is always very friendly, no complaints. This has been one of our favorite spots over the last three years living in Santa Rosa - our go-to when we want a dinner that's going to fill our bellies and hearts.

Awesome little pupusa spot not far from downtown Santa Rosa. Everything was a great price and a decent size. My pupusas were pretty loaded and a lot of good flavor. Bean were good as well. Didn't care for the rice, but all is good. Will definitely be back to try more.

I haven't been here in years and forgot how much I love their pupusas. I had the vegetarian one and it was scrumptious. I loved the spinach & mushroom in it. And the pickled cabbage topping is excellent. All for only $4.60'. Our server was so very sweet. I'll be back for sure.

The food here is amazing. I love the pupusa and the enchiladas are different than the Mexican type. They are absolutely delicious. I think this is one of the best places I've had Pupusas in. The average type of diner, but it's comfortable nothing special but good. The staff is very friendly and helpful

One of the best pupuserias I have been to in California, the staff was amazing, excited that my wife and I came in to try their food. The restaurant was bustling with happy customers and the speakers were playing lively music. It does take about 15-25 minutes for your food to be made but that is because the pupusas are made fresh to order. The Chicarron and queso pupusa was filled completely and delicious with the cabbage and salsa. Surprisingly my favorite pupusa had spinach and pumpkin in it, highly recommend if you enjoy exploring new flavors. The Chile Relleno was savory with ground pork and vegetables inside and topped with a red sauce and served with tortillas. The Salvadorean horchata was refreshing, made with cashews, arrayan fruit and tamarind.

Hidden gem! Literally…read more I would not have found this place if I wasn't sitting in the passenger seat and stuck in traffic trying to get on the freeway ramp. I look out the window and beyond the Denny's I see a restaurant, "Dos Culturas" I tell my husband, and we're both intrigued. My MIL has lived in the neighborhood for 2 years, and we passed by the place probably over 100 times, tucked away in the far back in the same parking lot as Denny's... and I only noticed the place because we were sitting in traffic. We finally decided to give it a try. First off, I love the huge menu. Obviously, it's fitting two cultures (Salvadorean and Mexican) on their menu, and they don't skimp. They have it all. We got the pupusa bombs (!) to share, and I got the chile relleno con carnes, and the hubs got a carnitas plate. The pupusa bombs are basically pupusas but in a ball, then deep fried. We got one bean and cheese, and one birria and cheese and it comes with birria consome for dipping. These really were the bomb! A bit expensive for what they were, but we still thoroughly enjoyed it. The chile relleno con carnes was really good, and exactly how I want a chile relleno to taste. Great batter, and great sauce, and it was topped with cheese, so you get the carnes and the cheese. :) Yum! I would definitely get it again. My hub's carnitas plate was good, and the portions were huge. I also really love the green sauce they give you with the chips. I could eat that all day. (Not sure if my digestive system would like it though. :P) Service was slightly slow, but that was just because the waitress was the bartender and waiting on the whole restaurant. She was very nice and welcoming, ...so it really wasn't too bad. I wanted to give this place some love because it's really good and it's so hidden, even though it's on a busy street. I recommend to the owners to get some signs to put on Santa Rosa Ave saying you exist there, because I seriously would had never realized this really good place was there unless I was stuck in traffic. Anyhow, I am very confident we'll be back. Would love to try the standard pupusas and lots of other stuff on the menu. They have breakfast too!

They left out the avocado completely and gave me a tablespoon of guacamole and sour cream, which was enough to have some in two of the 30+ bites the burrito offers. I called the location and the manager was very nice at first, she said she would make me a new burrito and to come in tomorrow, that she will make a note of it. When I got there, she was not a nice lady I talked to on the phone. She was immediately irritated with me and demanded a picture of the item. I did not have a picture. I took one through the review of the item on the app, but apparently that doesn't save it to your phone. She told me go ahead and complain through DoorDash. I can't help you. She wasted my time, energy, gas and basically stole my money. I cannot recommend this place, unfortunately. If you do decide to go there, make sure they don't do you, like they did me. Completely unacceptable and far from professional. If they followed through with the original promise to me, this would've been a positive review. It's unfortunate. Their leadership is too stubborn to admit mistakes.
