Beria pupusa, so rich, tender melt in your mouth beef.

Stopped in at 4 on a Saturday, this dish was everything! Savory, perfectly balanced spice with smoky, mildly salty consume. The only drawback and it was very slight. It took quite a while to get our food. I now believe that's because they were making it from scratch.

Pupusas revueltas - so good!!

A family member recently recommended Dos Culturas so we had to give it a try! The restaurant has several booths and tables with large hand-painted murals on the walls. It was quiet and clean. Service was very friendly. We ordered one of their pupusas revueltas which comes stuffed with cheese, pork, and refried beans, a tostada with carne asada, and a super burrito with carne asada. The pupusa was so delicious and came with a really good pickled slaw. My tostada was great and came loaded with beans, meat, cheese, lettuce, guacamole, and pico de gallo. Their guacamole has an interesting sweet flavor that I couldn't really identify but it was good. My husband enjoyed his burrito as well. They have so many interesting El Salvadorian options and we can't wait to go back and try more. The pupusa alone was a reason for us to return!

We had such a great Taco Tuesday night here at Dos Culturas! The food is good, the drinks are strong and high quality with beautiful garnishes plus more. It's a beautiful place with culture and good service. Our server was impeccable- she acknowledge us, provided great service and makes the best drinks. We initially was going to do take out, but the environment was so welcoming it called for us to sit down and have some chips & salsa which we really enjoyed. We ended up eating our meal dinning in and ordered to-go for our kids at home. We slipped in a date night unknowingly:) Definitely a place I would highly recommend. Thank you so much for the good service and good food.

My peers and I decided to come to dos cultures for lunch in Santa Rosa. The restaurant is in a shopping center next to a mechanic shop. It is an older building that needs some upgrading. The waitress was super friendly and was very attentive throughout our visit. I ordered a cantarito with tequila to drink and also pupusas as my entree. My peers decided on pupusas and pan con pollo. Pan con pollo is a French bread that almost resembles a torta. It is filled with fresh veggies and chicken with the chicken sauce. To die for. The service was excellent. Couldn't have asked for more. The reason I had to deduct a star was because of the food flavor. The pupusas didn't have much flavor and not much filling. The cantarrito was great and refreshing but the pupusas needed more flavor in the filling. I will definitely be back whenever I'm in town but will try a different dish.

What a cute place and delis food and wonderful service. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the waitress who seemed to be doing it all! You go girl! :) Great attitude, still fast service and we received our order in a timely manner. I read the reviews where people complaining bout the margarita, it was all right, definitely not worth $10. We picked the burrito and the quesadilla, we were not disappointed at all. The chips and 2 salsas we received beforehand was tasty but way toooo spicy for our pallet and we do eat spicy, so that was a bummer.

Lunch July 2021. 3 of us order different items so we can taste a variety. Ate on patio with my 2 Labradors. Dog friendly. But alas, shared opinions among us is that the food is mediocre. Pupusas are greasy outside and pretty flavorless inside. Pastelitos are also bland and gummy. Escabeche is fine if unremarkable. Beans and rice lack pizzazz, too. None of us finished the food on our plates even though we were hungry. Barbara S. gave up after eating less than 30% of her pupusa, she really didn't like it. Honestly the tastiest items were the chips and 2 salsas. Nice server. Friendly, attentive and competent. I like and know Central American food. I lived in Mexico for a year. This place, which was deserted during lunch time, does not ring my bell. I came here because of many Yelp 5 star reviews. I don't share that opinion. Might have been an off day in the kitchen when the "B" team is on duty. None the less, No return for me.

Pupusa Loca. With burnt edges

Hubby had been wanting to try this restaurant so off we went on a lunch date with one of our good friends along as well. There is a small patio out front where we chose to sit because it is dog friendly. They have a large menu of selections so we wanted to try something different. Two of us had the large pupusas and both felt they were bland, flavorless, and gooey, not in the right way. Friend had the Pastelitos and she was very disappointed. I only ate 30% of my pupusa, and didn't even bother to bring it home. The server was very sweet, attentive etc. However the food leaves something to be desired. Maybe an off day? Don't know, but I think there are plenty of other restaurants to go to, so I probably won't be back.

Authentic Mexican and Salvadoran food. Fast service and great food. Found this place while visiting Santa Rosa.

Fun ambiance!

The food was great and the karaoke was awesome! The service was good too. We will definitely be back when in the area!

This is my favorite place to come eat when I'm in Santa Rosa. Authentic ! Fresh & home made. The green salsa is the best. I definitely recommend. Staff is always friendly and attend you immediately.

Very nice people and great customer service. This is one of my go to lunch spots. The pastor has pineapple in it and it's amazing.

Being Salvadoran it's hard to find pupusas that are authentic and this place is so good! Reminds me of my Abuelas and tias pupusas!

We loved their red spicy sauce and super crunchy fresh curtido. They are packed into small zip lock bags. I forgot to take photos since I was hungry. This little shop is in the middle of nowhere next to a small auto parts shop and parking is limited. The immediate area is ugly and industrial but the pupusas keep us coming back. Best taken to go. It's not a comfortable spot to eat in. We paid 4 dollars per pupusa to go. Friendly staff. Highly recommended.

My go to is the 3/$12 Revuelta pupusas and the Plantains with the beans . Top tier beans and plantains. I am so glad I found this place. It is very close to my work. I do recommend calling in your order at least 30 minutes before so that it'll be ready for you to pick up. sometimes they do not answer their phone but they will give you a call back. Keep in mind they do not accept tap pay, but they do accept Zelle and Venmo if you need to make a mobile payment. It is small and cozy inside but there are at least 4 tables if you want to dine in. They do have a few tvs if you were there to relax while waiting or out with your family. Being new to the area, this place will definitely be my go to for pupusas.

We ordered a bunch of smaller plates to eat, and one was more delicious than the next! Our server was super knowledgeable about the menu and both nice and accommodating. The place is small but we sat outside, and it was a really lovely evening. We shared the Ensalada, which was really refreshing. The Brussels sprouts (Bruselas con camote) are NOT to be missed! We also really enjoyed the pastelitos de papa. We then split the Cachapa (with serrano ham, because, ham), and the Asado. Our group was 3 people, and we left VERY full, but not overwhelmed. My only regret is we didn't have room for dessert -- definitely next time!

Came here by chance with a hunger inside me. Discovered a little gem! Looks iffy from the outside…read more It inside it clean, sunny, and smells warm and delicious. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. It's like a cute little burger shop but for pupusas. The vibes are great. Clearly a lot of regulars here, stones throw from Marin Civic Center. Side-note -- you can freely roam around inside the civic center which is one of the most mind-bendingly beautiful public buildings, a Frank Lloyd Wright masterpiece that inspired a George Lucas for Star Wars. But anyhow, yes, the smell, the happy chatter, the bright windows, lots of little tables, very clean, it just feels right. I don't know Blankita but I can tell she's great. I got three pupusas, cheese and bean, revueltas, and cheese and loroco made with rice flour instead of corn. All were excellent, 5-6 bucks a piece. There are not many places like this in Marin, that feel they could be in the Mission. It's definitely going to be a tempting exit on my way home from work.
