I really wanted to love this place. We came right when they opened and the restaurant is gorgeous inside. The decor is beautiful, the music was on point, and every plate that came out looked like a piece of art. The service was great too--everyone was friendly and attentive. That's why it was disappointing when the food went in our mouths. For about $20-25 per plate, I expected a lot more flavor. There were two of us, we ordered four tapas, and with tip spent around $100. Unfortunately, most of the dishes tasted oily and kind of bland. We didn't even finish all the food, which is rare for us. It made me sad because this place has so much potential. The atmosphere, presentation, and service were all there. I just wish the food matched everything else.

We came for the seafood paella and ended up ordering the pork chop and several tapas as well. Everything was excellent. The restaurant itself has a great vibe and they even had live acoustic music over dinner. Our paella was taking a bit longer than expected so the owner came and brought us some extra tapas. Just make sure to order the paella the second you sit down. Great experience overall!

Returning to Tres Social after six months, I was reminded why this spot is so promising: the menu remains incredibly exciting, diverse, and original. It's the kind of lineup that genuinely makes you curious to try everything. However, while the potential for a 5-star experience is clearly there, the execution still feels like it's chasing that final "je ne sais quoi." The Highlights: Gambas al Ajillo: Absolutely fantastic. The prawns were expertly cooked, and the brown butter confit garlic provided a rich, perfect complement. Wagyu Burger: Once the kitchen nailed the temperature, this was top-notch. It's a standout dish when executed correctly. The Misses: Consistency: On the first visit, seasoning felt sparse across the board and the empanadas cried out for more sauce options. This time, the pendulum swung the other way with a slightly overcooked and oversalted scallop. Technical Execution: We had to send the burger back; it arrived medium-well despite a medium-rare request. The "Fries": The menu lists truffle fries, but what arrived were essentially homemade chips. While tasty, they don't quite hit the mark if you're expecting a true fry texture. The restaurant is clean, the vibe is right, and the menu is creative enough to keep me coming back. They are so close to being a premier Summerlin destination. Once they tighten up the kitchen consistency and fine-tune those minor execution errors, they'll more than likely hit that 5-star mark.

Stumbled across TRES Social Tapas and glad we did. They have a great happy hour menu and John at the bar top was awesome. He ran through the food and drink menu and gave great recommendations. Went with the oysters that were great. Bacon wrapped dates that were super tasty. The steak empanadas served with chimichurri sauce. These are a must. Also the Ahi tuna carpaccio that was light and fresh. The staff were all great. Definitely recommend give TRES a try

TRES was a place I randomly stumbled upon and I'm super glad I did. Finding it initially might be a bit difficult because it's tucked in the corner of a shopping center so you sort of need to know it's there and be looking for it. Once you locate it, it's is a wonderful experience. The ambience when you walk in is warm. There's interesting art and it has a human feel and warmth that I feel a lot of modern restaurants lack. This warmth and humanity extends to the staff and the service. Our server was super attentive, constantly checking in and making sure we were good. The owner even came over and we had a nice chat with him. He even sent over a shot of tequila after, which is always a plus in my books. Overall the food was pretty good. Since it's tapas, I was able to try quite a few things. The two standouts were the oysters, which I believe were Kumamoto & the eggplant. Everything else was enjoyable with the exception of the short rib empanadas. I'm a big empanada person but I felt this was just too flaky and the bread/ meat ratio was off and the sauce didn't really move the needle. Overall I think this is a great spot worth checking out. It's a nice spot for a date night or some other group night where you there is food and conversation . The happy hour menu also seems worth checking out

Came in before going somewhere for dinner. Strong drink, wonderful ambiance and great service all around. Tapas dishes all tasty, flavorful and nice portion specially for appetizers. I feel like I have my money worth. Lamb chops dish definitely my favorite, Spanish octopus and cheese empanada were on point. I had Mexican old fashioned which used tequila and that drink did the job! Try their house wine and won't be disappointed. Their happy hours served wine by the glass and happy hours food at great value. I love their Albarino wine here. Definitely a nice place to hang out and get tipsy with happiness.

I like everything about this place except the kitchen was sslloooww getting food out. We did not order paella this time for entrees but it took just as long to receive the entrées. The charcuterie board with bread came out in reasonable time, but the other hot appetizer took a considerably long time, and the entrées much longer.

Heard good things about this Latin cuisine restaurant and decided to give it a try since it's not far from home. The restaurant is spacious and beautifully decorated. There's also a very nice bar. We ordered a salad, the Chilean Sea Bass, and the Braised Short Rib "Al Vino". Both entrees were absolutely delicious. The Chilean Sea Bass was perfectly cooked, tender, and tasty. The Short Rib was tender and delectable. It came with goat cheese potato purée, port wine shallot, and black truffle. The taste of both entrees had a lot of depth to it. They were really enjoyable. Service was very professional and attentive. Water was always filled without asking. They have a very extensive menu with tapas, paellas, appetizers, soups, salads, empanadas, steaks, seafood, etc., etc. Will need to come back to try their other dishes. This restaurant is a great addition to Summerlin. Prices are also fair and affordable.

What a great find!! Located on Sahara in Summerlin, Tres is a Tapas restaurant specializing in Latin cuisine. A unique experience full of flavor, celebrating culinary arts from Spain, Portugal and South America. The restaurant is large and includes dining room and bar seating as well as a patio perfectly situated for people watching and enjoying the weather. The ambiance was inviting while also intimate. Perfect for date night or just an evening out to celebrate a birthday. We ordered several tapas, everything was delicious. The grilled Spanish Octopus and Lamb Chops Maruno were my absolute favorite! Seasoned nicely and cooked to a perfect temperature. We also ordered the Spanish clams and the manager came over to warn us that it'll the broth is cooked with a Spanish sausage that some people might find a bit salty. I am sensitive to sodium/salt but did not find it salty. It was perfect!! Overall, it was an unexpected fabulous night. An added bonus was the service which was excellent! Staff and management were very friendly and took excellent care of us. I will definitely recommend this spot to my friends and colleagues and will be back during the holidays!!

Delicious we had 5 tapas, drinks and dessert. We'll definitely be back for the paella. Great service, atmosphere. Drinks were delicious.

Came in during happy hour and sat outside which was pretty nice since it wasn't too hot that day. Our server was so nice and patient with us as we were looking through the menu. Food: Pork belly 5/10: it was okay. Nothing special and it was pretty fatty. The sauce that came with it was a little citrusy sweet. Shrimp 7/10: super fresh and had that firm texture. The flavor tasted Cajun like and came with a lot of flavor. I wish it did come with more shrimp. Beef skewer 9/10 super tender and delicious. The chimichurri it came with was good. I wish there was more flavor in between bites of the meat since it was borderline flavorless in the middle. But I still enjoyed this dish the most. Empanada 10/10! This is prob the best one I've had in awhile. The outside was perfectly crispy and the filling came with good flavor. It also came with its own sauce which I liked. Overall the food was not bad. I was kinda disappointed that they changed their happy hour menu. It use to be 50% off more items but they set it to just certain items now. Service was great tho.

First off let me start off with the why I didn't give 5 stars and go from there. Upon arrival we were seated quickly as we had a reservation but after being seated it felt as we were forgotten as no one came around to ask for our drink orders or apps. Took a while until a waitress came and said I take it you guys have not been attended to which we advised we had not. She quickly got our order, secondly the food took extremely long to come out buuuuuut I will say it was worth the wait because the food was amazing!!! The seafood was fresh and the pork chops were cooked perfectly and with love! The restaurant knew the wait time was over than what it should of been so did apologize and also advised us a item would be removed from the check so that was very much appreciated. Staff was a delight and the dessert was even more delightful

It's unusual to find a restaurant that excels at food, service, and ambience but Tres Social Tapas definitely does! I am really impressed with the food quality and consistency across the board. It's clear that the kitchen takes its craft seriously, and the staff adds the extra touch of care. This place has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere without being overly loud. A great place for a date night or socializing with friends. I will continue to visit Tres Social Tapas on a regular basis.

He spent a lot of time explaining the menu and answering questions. He never seemed to be in a rush and was on top of it. There were others constantly filling water, removing plates, etc. The service alone was impeccable. We loved the mushroom fries. The basil aioli it came with was fantastic. We also tried the Brussels sprouts, which were more like a salad, fresh with lemon and pistachio. The creamy garlic mashed potatoes were also fantastic. My wife and I both tried the Spencer cut steak. It was grilled to perfection. Great char and came out the way I ordered it. Juicy and not fatty, an excellent cut. I really enjoyed the sorbet as well. Unfortunately, upon arrival, we were disappointed to find that the elevator was broken, as informed by the staff. We had two friends who required ADA accommodations: one in a wheelchair and the other who could not walk long distances. We were left with two options: a table in the front lobby, where everyone walks in, providing no privacy, or seating outside. It was 5 PM, and the temperature in Las Vegas was scorching over 100 degrees. Why would I choose to sit outside, especially with two guests who have mobility challenges? Moreover, the server informed us that there were no mist machines outside, which was an insult. The simple solution would have been to call or text us to inform us that the elevator was broken, especially since one of the servers mentioned that it had been broken for a few days. A simple call would have given us time to find another restaurant that could accommodate our needs. However, it was a Friday in Las Vegas, and making a last-minute reservation was challenging. We decided to stay and dine in the lobby near the butcher shop, where we were again seating in the open, lacking privacy. The manager did came over and comped two appetizers, which was appreciated, but it did not resolve the issue. A restaurant should be ADA accessible at all times, and if it is not, they should inform the guests especially if specific accommodation was mentioned in the memo of the reservation. One of our friends, who cannot walk far distances, had to struggle to go up the stairs to use the restroom, causing her muscles to cramp up and other issues. As a local and frequent visitor to this location, this experience has made me question whether we will return. It left my guest, who came to celebrate my birthday, feeling like they were an inconvenience and burden

My family made a reservation because they wanted to celebrate my birthday, so I was really looking forward to it. When it is your birthday, even a small detail feels a little more important. You want the night to feel special, smooth, and happy from the beginning. Unfortunately, when we arrived, there seemed to be a small issue with the reservation, and the table we were given was much smaller than expected. Since we were there as a family for a birthday dinner, it felt uncomfortable at first. I have to be honest -- my mood was not great in the beginning. It was one of those moments where you think, "Oh no, is this how the night is going to start?" But then the food started coming out, and Hachi completely turned the night around. The first thing that changed my mood was the beer. The draft beer was served in an unbelievably icy-cold mug. It was not just cold -- it looked and felt like it had come straight out of a freezer. The foam was smooth, the beer was crisp, and the first sip was so refreshing that I almost forgot I had been upset a few minutes earlier. That beer alone deserves applause. Sometimes a perfect cold beer can fix a whole mood, and this one absolutely did. The biggest highlight of the night was the tuna toro. It was incredible. The texture was so soft and delicate that it almost felt like cotton candy melting in my mouth. Rich, buttery, fresh, and so smooth. It was the kind of bite that makes everyone at the table stop talking for a second. We loved it so much that we ordered it three times. Ordering the same dish three times says everything. It was not a maybe. It was not a "let's think about it." It was a clear yes every time. The skewers were also very good. The grilled meats had a nice smoky flavor, and they were seasoned well without being too salty. They paired perfectly with the icy beer. But the shrimp skewer was especially memorable. The shrimp had that perfect bouncy, juicy texture. It was grilled nicely, still tender, and full of natural sweetness. Some grilled shrimp can become dry or forgettable, but this one had personality. Small skewer, big impact. We also enjoyed several other izakaya-style dishes. The grilled shishito peppers with bonito flakes were simple but delicious, and they helped balance out the richer dishes. The grilled squid had a great smoky flavor and a chewy texture that went so well with beer. These are exactly the kinds of dishes that make izakaya dining so fun -- one bite, one sip, one more bite, and suddenly the table is full of happy people. The sashimi platter was fresh and beautifully served over ice. There was a nice variety, including tuna, salmon, white fish, scallop, and ikura. Everything looked clean and fresh, and the presentation made it feel even more enjoyable. But honestly, the toro was the star. I will probably remember that toro for a long time. My daughter ordered tonkatsu, and that was also a huge hit. Sometimes at restaurants like this, kids' dishes can feel like an afterthought, but this tonkatsu was really good. It was crispy, flavorful, and satisfying. Seeing my daughter enjoy her food made my birthday dinner even better. As a mom, when your child eats well and is happy, the whole meal suddenly feels more peaceful. That is just the truth. Overall, Hachi started with a little frustration because of the reservation issue and the small table, but the food and drinks completely saved the night. The icy-cold beer, the amazing tuna toro, the juicy shrimp skewer, and the tonkatsu were all memorable. The food was strong enough to make us forget the rough beginning, and by the end of the meal, we were all happy. It is the kind of place where you order many small dishes, share with the table, drink something cold, and let the night slowly become fun. I would definitely come back next time I am in Las Vegas. Next time, I already know what I am ordering first: an icy-cold beer and tuna toro. And honestly, I may order the toro twice from the beginning, because one order is definitely not enough.
