Went on an early dinner triple date to Tres Social Tapas on a Saturday with my parents, my LTP, and my best friend's mom and stepdad before going to our olive oil tasting event next door. The latter two are vegetarian and I wanted to go for a vegetarian friendly restaurant just for them. The olive oil tasting was my idea so I also had to choose the restaurant. My LTP and I actually went to a different tapas restaurant about a month ago and we loved it. So I wanted to try one of these again. Our tasting was scheduled to start at 6:00pm and I booked a reservation for 4:00pm through OpenTable. They have a very spacious patio, but due to the excessive heat warning in place at the time, we decided to dine inside. I didn't look at their hours of operation beforehand, so when we walked in, it was empty. Then I noticed that they open at 4:00pm on Saturday's and we were literally the first customers inside. We got a spacious table near the back of the restaurant, where our waiter for the day was Zach. He explained to us that all their food on the menu is based out of Spain, especially the paella, which takes about 40 minutes to cook and is meant to serve about two-four people. We started off with some drinks, where I got the mango margarita, my LTP and my dad respectively got the Atomic Duck and the El Pato Loco Mexican Lager from Able Baker, and my mom and my best friend's mom and stepdad shared a bottle of Chardonnay. While the margarita was on a bit of the sweet side compared to other margaritas I've had, it was still really good and it had a really fruity taste to it. We ordered the following and all six of us shared most of them; short rib pintxo, pork belly pave, patatas bravas, ole mis croquetas, iberico dates, and chicken tinga/braise short rib empanadas. Initially, I ordered just the chicken tinga for myself and my LTP was supposed to get the braise short rib, but my plate had chicken tinga and braise short rib together. That was ok, though, because both the chicken and short rib were absolutely delicious. The short rib pintxo came on a stick, with the rib falling off the stick as I took the first bite out of it. The pork belly pave was cooked perfectly. The patatas brava were spicy, but I would say 'good' spicy. The croquetas were overall one of my favorites; when I sliced it down the middle with my fork, the mashed potato filling spilled out of it. Hands down, Tres was a fantastic restaurant. We heard about this place and came by on a Sunday around lunchtime. They were doing a brunch buffet. Unbelievably tasty and fresh. It is not the normal buffet filler food. They have glorious, large shrimps and an assortment of tapas and side dishes. They do them in small matches, so they are really fresh. The owner is here so we got to talk to him a little bit, solid dude. The staff was great helpful and polite, but not that corporate kind of nice where they chase you down to say hello and interrupt you every third bite. I really wanted to love this place. We came right when they opened and the restaurant is gorgeous inside. The decor is beautiful, the music was on point, and every plate that came out looked like a piece of art. The service was great too--everyone was friendly and attentive. That's why it was disappointing when the food went in our mouths. For about $20-25 per plate, I expected a lot more flavor. There were two of us, we ordered four tapas, and with tip spent around $100. Unfortunately, most of the dishes tasted oily and kind of bland. We didn't even finish all the food, which is rare for us. Returning to Tres Social after six months, I was reminded why this spot is so promising: the menu remains incredibly exciting, diverse, and original. It's the kind of lineup that genuinely makes you curious to try everything. However, while the potential for a 5-star experience is clearly there, the execution still feels like it's chasing that final "je ne sais quoi." The Highlights: Gambas al Ajillo: Absolutely fantastic. The prawns were expertly cooked, and the brown butter confit garlic provided a rich, perfect complement. Wagyu Burger: Once the kitchen nailed the temperature, this was top-notch. It's a standout dish when executed correctly. The Misses: Consistency: On the first visit, seasoning felt sparse across the board and the empanadas cried out for more sauce options. This time, the pendulum swung the other way with a slightly overcooked and oversalted scallop. Technical Execution: We had to send the burger back; it arrived medium-well despite a medium-rare request. The "Fries": The menu lists truffle fries, but what arrived were essentially homemade chips. While tasty, they don't quite hit the mark if you're expecting a true fry texture. The restaurant is clean, the vibe is right, and the menu is creative enough to keep me coming back. They are so close to being a premier Summerlin destination. Stumbled across TRES Social Tapas and glad we did. They have a great happy hour menu and John at the bar top was awesome. He ran through the food and drink menu and gave great recommendations. Went with the oysters that were great. Bacon wrapped dates that were super tasty. The steak empanadas served with chimichurri sauce. These are a must. Staff were friendly, live music on site frequently, overall spacious and clean, however slightly slow in service and bringing food out even though the day I went was relatively quiet. Cost is on the higher end but nice variety of food options. Food overall was well balanced in flavour, but dishes were quite small. The paella was ok, give it a 3/5. Rice was not as fragrant and it unfortunately didnt have the crispy base that I want from a paella. There was good flavour overall and can definitely taste the saffron. I was excited to have another tapas restaurant, we really miss Firefly. The tapas were ok, could have had more flavor. The sangria was not great. But the paella would have made my Spanish brother in law cry. It's supposed to have a broth, almost like a risotto. Instead it was dried out, the rice sticky and the seafood dried up and chewy. TRES was a place I randomly stumbled upon and I'm super glad I did. Finding it initially might be a bit difficult because it's tucked in the corner of a shopping center so you sort of need to know it's there and be looking for it. Once you locate it, it's is a wonderful experience. The ambience when you walk in is warm. There's interesting art and it has a human feel and warmth that I feel a lot of modern restaurants lack. This warmth and humanity extends to the staff and the service. Our server was super attentive, constantly checking in and making sure we were good. The owner even came over and we had a nice chat with him. He even sent over a shot of tequila after, which is always a plus in my books. Overall the food was pretty good. Since it's tapas, I was able to try quite a few things. The two standouts were the oysters, which I believe were Kumamoto & the eggplant. Everything else was enjoyable with the exception of the short rib empanadas. I'm a big empanada person but I felt this was just too flaky and the bread/ meat ratio was off and the sauce didn't really move the needle. Overall I think this is a great spot worth checking out. Heard good things about this Latin cuisine restaurant and decided to give it a try since it's not far from home. The restaurant is spacious and beautifully decorated. There's also a very nice bar. We ordered a salad, the Chilean Sea Bass, and the Braised Short Rib "Al Vino". Both entrees were absolutely delicious. The Chilean Sea Bass was perfectly cooked, tender, and tasty. The Short Rib was tender and delectable. It came with goat cheese potato purée, port wine shallot, and black truffle. The taste of both entrees had a lot of depth to it. They were really enjoyable. Service was very professional and attentive. Water was always filled without asking. They have a very extensive menu with tapas, paellas, appetizers, soups, salads, empanadas, steaks, seafood, etc., etc. Will need to come back to try their other dishes. What a great find!! Located on Sahara in Summerlin, Tres is a Tapas restaurant specializing in Latin cuisine. A unique experience full of flavor, celebrating culinary arts from Spain, Portugal and South America. The restaurant is large and includes dining room and bar seating as well as a patio perfectly situated for people watching and enjoying the weather. The ambiance was inviting while also intimate. Perfect for date night or just an evening out to celebrate a birthday. We ordered several tapas, everything was delicious. The grilled Spanish Octopus and Lamb Chops Maruno were my absolute favorite! Seasoned nicely and cooked to a perfect temperature. We also ordered the Spanish clams and the manager came over to warn us that it'll the broth is cooked with a Spanish sausage that some people might find a bit salty. I am sensitive to sodium/salt but did not find it salty. It was perfect!! Overall, it was an unexpected fabulous night. An added bonus was the service which was excellent! Food: Pork belly 5/10: it was okay. Nothing special and it was pretty fatty. The sauce that came with it was a little citrusy sweet. Shrimp 7/10: super fresh and had that firm texture. The flavor tasted Cajun like and came with a lot of flavor. I wish it did come with more shrimp. Beef skewer 9/10 super tender and delicious. The chimichurri it came with was good. I wish there was more flavor in between bites of the meat since it was borderline flavorless in the middle. But I still enjoyed this dish the most. Empanada 10/10! Tres Cazuelas Artisanal Latin Cuisine is a new beautiful restaurant that recently opened in Summerlin. You'll find them at Village Square on Sahara and Fort Apache near Burgundy French Bakery & Cafe. There's ample parking. Soft opening was on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 with a grand opening on Saturday, July 19, 2025. Inside has soft lighting with plenty of seating for a table, booth, and by the bar. The place is colorful and decorated with inspiring artwork and fabulous painting. Every night they have live music on Friday at 6:30pm by different musicians. Menu offers a nice selection of tapas and appetizers, empanadas, soups and salads, paellas, specialty dish, fresh fish, usda prime steak, and sides, as well as desserts and coffee. I had Croquetas "Atrufadas" (4 pieces, $14) which is good and quite appetizing! It's crispy balls filled with the most softest cremini mushroom that's so smooth and creamy, it has black truffle and romesco. Zucchini Blossoms (3 pieces, $18) is also tasty! It's fried golden crispy zucchini blossom stuffed with ricotta cheese served atop creamy spinach foam. The stuffed ricotta is very rich and it's great that they complement it with sweet juicy ripe sherry gourmet tomatoes which gave a nice acidity and sweet balance to the rich ricotta, it's very good! They also have wine by the bottle for sparkling, whites, rose, old world red and new world red, and wine by the glass for whites and reds. I went with Cappuccino ($5), it's Lavazza Italy's Favorite Coffee with steamed milk and paired it with Pineapple Upside-Down Cake ($12), which I later found was exceedingly sweet. I even mentioned to Seth, and he is so nice and genuinely understanding. Aside from dessert, I love cappuccino, flavor is smooth, cozy and delightful! I really enjoyed this one as a fantastic after dinner dessert. Service from Seth is exceptional, outstanding, and wonderful! Having been a patron of the restaurant that moved out of the space, I was looking forward to discovering a new place. Upon walking inside, the decor is very beautiful. On this particular evening there was a live musician which is always a nice touch. There were two of us and we decided to sit at the bar. The bartender isn't the fastest to greet you but she was very friendly. Once she made her way down to our seats she was very present. We didn't know what to expect but looking at the menu, there's quite a bit of seafood on it. There's a collection of apps, empanadas, soups, salads and entrees including several paellas which I take to be a feature of the restaurant. I saw the Braised Short Rib Empanadas and decided to start with that. Usually short rib dishes ooze with that stewed flavor and I was excited for it. When it came out, I was a bit disappointed. One empanada was clearly more well done than the other visually. The empanadas are made with a puff pastry. I was hoping the pastry (especially the more well done one) would at least have some crisp but it didn't. The pastry has more of a chewy soggy type of texture. The braised short rib inside lacked a lot of flavor for me. It was a bit bland. What I did like was the side of chimichurri that comes with it. We also tried the Strawbery Gazpacho - which we didn't know what to expect. I could taste the strawberry in it as the flavors merge with the tomato of a gazpacho. It is topped with feta. I would say it was in interesting soup. I probably wouldn't get it again, but kudos for uniqueness and I don't mind that I at least tried it. We didn't try any entrees as my guest isn't much of a seafood person. Again, decor inside is beautiful, nice atmosphere. Based on only two small items tried, it was just alright. read more

Came for a girls night to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday here during happy hour and it was the best choice! The HH is half-priced off their selected HH menu which is only available in the bar area so be sure to let them know if you're there for the HH. Reservations were made ahead of time but they weren't really busy when we were there (probably since they're still new). We mostly ordered from the HH menu with the exception of the paella which was a MUST to order. We were told that on Saturday's they do something like a bottomless paella which I gotta checkout! They have a full service bar but the HH was mainly on the margaritas. What we ordered: -Braised short rib empanadas: 5/5! We ended up ordering 2 more orders of these because it was so good. -Jumbo Sea Scallops: 5/5. -Paella Mixta: 5/5. This was highly recommended from our server so you can't go wrong with this one for your first time. -Wagyu Sliders: 4/5. -Steak Frites: 3/5. The steak was mediocre--my girlfriends were not impressed and didn't enjoy the taste but the fries were good! Ambiance, food, and drinks were great and we had a great time. As it got later, around 6, is when the live music started and the party could've kept going but sadly it was a work night so we had to cut it short. We had a mixed experience last Friday night. My husband and I decided to share several items. Service was slow and we were told after 30 minutes that some of our items were no longer available. It messed up the plan since we were sharing several plates and at that point he would have had to order a main dish. We opted in for the bottomless sangria ($18, and they leave you the pitcher at your table) and also the Estrella beer, which I haven't had since I was in Barcelona a couple of years ago. Food: We had a large party so we ordered a lot of tapas and paella dishes. Everything was good, my favorite tapas was the patatas bravas and the churrasco pintxo. The aioli they put on the patatas bravas was amazing and the potatoes were the perfect texture. The churrasco pintxo is a short rib skewer and it was seared well, but what made it was the chimichurri sauce. We ordered 4 paella dishes and all of them were excellent. I read some reviews about the rice not being crispy, but the paellas we got had plenty of crispy rice bits. My favorite was the paella mixta "tres cazuelas" just because it had all the meat and seafood. You can't go wrong with any of the paellas though. Service: Our party of 9 had a reservation at 1 pm on a Sunday and were seated after a couple of minutes of waiting. We didn't get our waiter's name but he was happy to answer all the questions we had. The owner even came out to check on us. All food came out at a reasonable time. Just keep in mind that the paella takes about 30 minutes to cook because they make it the moment you order it. Wow! Don't let the outside fool you. The ambiance and vibe made me feel like I was in a Spanish tasca back in Spain. This is right next door to the famous Sand Dollar Bar. The wife and I had the Bottomless Sangrias. We also liked the Iberico Dates. For dinner, we had the Early Happy Hour Menu which is a 3-Course Meal (see my photo for menu options). Paella for dinner was not a bad idea. The location was obscure and the place was small. The restaurant did not appears busy. Gambas Al Ajillo | The garlic flavor was distinct. The shrimps were cooked to perfection, with a tender and succulent texture. Paella Mixta "TRES Cazuelas" | The seafood was cooked well. The scent and taste of saffron, turmeric and paprika were extremely minimal. It seemed like the dish was only seasoned with salt and low-grade spices. The socarrat, or the crispy browned rice at the bottom of the pan, is what makes eating paella so enjoyable. It's unfortunate that the toasty crust was absent from this paella. Additionally, it appeared that the chicken was not added to this dish even though it had been specifically requested. The item's price didn't correlate with its quality and quantity. Tapas near Summerlin! This place is a solid 4... cozy space with nice ambience and descent food. Wouldn't say it was mind blowing, but the food was well prepared and the flavors were well balanced for the most part. Some highlights were the pork belly bites... salty, savory, sweet and just the right touch of acid. The service needed some polish, but it was adequate... sort of like everything else. read more

Tres Social Tapas has a lively vibe and the space is really cute. It feels like a fun place to grab drinks and share plates with friends. One thing to note is the kitchen seems to close pretty early. Google says they close at 10 PM, but we arrived around 8:45 PM and were told we would need to sit at the bar if we wanted food because the kitchen was already winding down. The tapas here are larger and pricier than what you typically expect from a tapas spot, so it's harder to try a big variety of dishes. Some items were well executed like the shrimp and scallops, and the lobster ended up being the standout of the night. Other dishes like the lamb chops and pork belly were unfortunately on the dry side. Overall the food felt a bit pricey for an off Strip restaurant and the portion sizes make it harder to explore the menu the way tapas usually encourage. The lively atmosphere is definitely a plus though. read more

TRES is the exciting new Spanish tapas spot in Village Square, and even though it's only been open five days, it's already showing serious promise. I'm giving it a solid four stars, not because anything major was wrong, but because all new restaurants need a little time to settle in. That said, we really enjoyed ourselves and plan to come back often. Location & Vibe: It's located in the massive Village Square plaza on the corner of Sahara and Fort Apache. Meaning parking is not a problem. The space used to house another restaurant, and while it still holds some of that original feel, TRES has added fun, stylish touches. Think vibrant artwork, a semi-private "back room" perfect for big groups, and a super Instagrammable photo op spot with oversized red lips. Happy Hour Heaven: We arrived at 4:30 to catch the daily happy hour (4-6 PM), which takes place in the bar area, complete with regular tables seating 4-6 people, high top, and bar seating. Happy hour includes a surprisingly large portion of the regular menu, all at 50% off, including drinks! That alone earns major bonus points. What We Ate & Drank: The three of us tried seven tapas and two cocktails. It was a perfect amount (we could have gotten away with only six). We got stuffed. Standouts included: * Short Rib Skewers (tender and flavorful, and hands down my favorite) * Wagyu sliders (juicy perfection) * Grilled Shrimp (bright and well-cooked) To drink, the cucumber jalapeño martini and mango margarita were both delicious, creative, presented well and refreshing. We capped the meal with espresso and two desserts: a rich chocolate volcano cake and a creamy cheese tart. Small but decadent enough to share (or not). Service & Atmosphere: Alejandra was our server and she was a total gem. Upbeat, knowledgeable, and honest when she had to double-check something (hey, it's Day 5, no judgment!). Cassidy, a manager, also stopped by to chat, and gave us additional information such as the dining room does close one hour earlier than the bar. So if the dining room closes at 9pm the bar only is open until 10pm. An acoustic musician showed up partway through and added to the relaxed, elevated vibe without being too loud, just perfect ambiance. Room to Grow: There were a few menu quirks that tripped us up. For instance: * We kept asking what the quantity was in various items. I felt bad bothering our server. I wish they were sectioned by quantity so you knew if it had 2, 3 or 4 or more pieces. The pork belly had four pieces, shrimp had four, sliders had two, skewers had two but held 3 meat cubes each, and the pee-wee potatoes are a plate full. The empanadas come in twos, but that isn't listed anywhere either. * The pork belly is listed in two areas of the menu, The Tapas section and the Bar Plate section, however the pork belly we were told are the same size, and quantity but the bar plate comes with truffle fries...both are the same price. That was a bit confusing that one option as an added food item but is still the same price as the Tapas order. Also, we noticed the outdoor seating was removed, but hopefully that's temporary as patio weather rolls in. Final Verdict: TRES is off to a strong, flavorful start. Great drinks, a generous happy hour, fun decor, and friendly service. We'll be back soon to try the paella and those zucchini blossoms we saw at the next table. With a few menu tweaks, we could see this easily becoming a five-star favorite in no time! read more

Food was great. We had the pork chop, lobster bisque, zucchini, blossoms, ribeye, tapas, and gambas. The service was very good and the live music was a very nice touch. The food was really well prepared. We look forward to going again soon. read more
