10/10 Build Your Own Bowl 12. Oz -My absolute favorite place for acai! The team here is great and they even offer a matcha acai flavor. As a huge matcha fan this speaks to my soul. They definitely know their audience! Cost - $11.85.

I am obsessed with Pur! They have become a late night indulgence for me. This location has a very small parking lot so it may be difficult to find spots during peak hours. Very easy to understand menu, either select a pre determined option or build your own bowl. They offer a wide variety of bases and toppings to make it unique to you and i find the flavors to be a 10/10

I stopped by PUR Bowls and loved the whole experience. It's conveniently right next to Wynn's Kitchen, so it's easy to check out both spots in one trip. What stood out right away was that they let you sample the bases--huge plus. They have a lot of flavors, so being able to taste before choosing makes it way easier to customize your bowl. The setup is simple: you move down the line and pick exactly what you want, quick and efficient. I went with the coconut base, added vanilla chia seeds, granola, strawberries, bananas, and topped it with toasted coconut flakes--fresh, flavorful, and perfectly put together. Service was fast, staff was friendly, and everything tasted great. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area.

my partner and i went for a late night dessert and it was gooddd. gigantic props to the worker for indulging me and letting me try literally every flavor cause i felt so bad but ive never had acai before and had no idea what to expect. will be coming back for the strawberry/guava flavor cause they were out when we went:( ANOTHER PLUS i love that they charge by the cup size rather than the weight, suchhhh a refreshing change of pace from the penny pinching other places do

can get a little busy here during the day but we were helped quickly. felt kind of rushed by staff but that's alright. i liked their coconut base. their bases are the perfect consistency! i liked that they stayed firm throughout the time i was eating my bowl. they also have a good amount of toppings and a few that i haven't seen at a traditional acai bowl place which was cool. this place is connected to nguyens kitchen which i thought was interesting. a couple of tables inside but this place is mostly grab and go. parking can be a mess too

Love the pitaya and mango base flavors!! Very bright flavor and the right kind of sweetness. The amount of toppings available were great. It was my first time seeing matcha chia pudding! Different kinds of granolas, fresh and dried fruit option toppings!

A pretty typical acai bowl place, nothing too special but really appreciate the pricing and hours. I came in around midnight since my brother was craving an acai bowl and we were happy with the service. I like how it's essentially endless toppings and isn't additional after x amount. I worked at a juice + acai place before where the starting price was $14 and any additional toppings from the set bowls they had was a dollar extra. Definitely a loud place because of the next door restaurant but nothing they can do about it, would overall recommend especially since they are open until 2am I believe???

Today was my first time here and I definitely will be coming back! Ordering was super fast and simple, and the person putting my order together was super helpful. There wasn't very many people in at the time I went but I loved that the music was upbeat and signs were easy to understand. Parking was a little bit of a struggle since the parking lot was pretty small. Overall, the bowl was delicious, fruit was so fresh, and I loved that it was totally customizable!

Yummmmmmmmm...This place is smth else!!!!!!! I was starving for smth very sour and thanks to Yelp I found this place....It was my first time to be here while many times i was Next door NGUYEN kitchen but not in person. It was always door dash or ubereats so i didnt have a chance to find this place...The service was phenomenal...They were super friendly and fast...Even i asked for more Tajin on my Mango and she didnt hesitate even when we were paying she asked if i want more....So 5/5 stars.The ambiance was chill eventhough it has a mutual door with Nguyen Kitchen and the smells were mixed but it was enjoyable...Another young lady was there with her laptop so I guess it should be chill....We ended up paying around $17 for the large size bowl plus tip..It was generous size and the large size is good for two.

I came in today while in the area and this place did not disappoint. We were quickly greeted by the employees who offered us samples. I sampled both the cocolina (spirulina, coconut, pineapple, and mango) and matcha. The cocolina was amazing and had a very vibrant flavor. The matcha had a very strong flavor and was unsweetened. I ended up ordering a cocolina bowl with chia pudding, granola, fruits, and other toppings. The inside had 2 tables to offer, but there was no outside seating. The prospect was also clean and the employees wore gloves, which made me feel better. The location of Pur bowls is near CHOC and St. Joseph hospitals which make it a great location for those visiting loved ones. The parking lot is small, but there were several spots when we visited. In addition, there is a restaurant next door called Nguyen's kitchen which offered plenty of options as well. I will definitely be back!

I had only been here once before today and have been craving another bowl since. This location is not exactly near my home. The servers here are always helpful, friendly and generous. I love the way they stack a bowl. There are so many choices and the place is kept clean. Pretty casual but not a lot of tables (only 2 inside). The prices are as shown ($10, $12, & $15 tax is already included). I've taken a picture of the sizes with prices. I got açaí and Pur berry base with a bit of vanilla chia pudding, fruit (pineapple, banana, mango, and blueberry), no apple this time, almond butter drizzle, bee pollen, cacao bits and chopped dates. This place is a gem! The price for what you get here is unreal. A large smoothie bowl with pretty much unlimited toppings- well enough until everything starts to overflow or either no longer fits into the lid. And The topping options are so yummy. Definitely telling friends about this spot. Food: Everything tasted fresh and refreshing. It's a great spot if you're in the mood for something sweet and on the healthier side that still hits the spot. Service: Service was really good, especially considering I came in about 30 minutes before closing. They were still friendly and didn't rush anything, which I appreciated. I came in today with my husband at 1:05pm looking forward to trying out one of the Acai bowls. I've read the reviews and seen the pictures and everything looks so good. I came in and saw that there was no line super excited to order ( wanted to get a build-your-own bowl) the girl currently working saw that I came in and didn't greet us not a "Hi" or "Welcome in be right with you" she is just more worried about organizing her honey and nut toppings. I'm just standing patiently waiting for her to attend to me whenever she feels like it. I look over to my husband and say maybe someone is going to come out back and help us out maybe she's organizing because they just opened? (The store opens at 9am and I came in at 1:05pm) I told my husband lets just go she's not going to help us out and as soon as I said that she turned around and said you guys ready? Or need more time? I say yeah I'm ready but my husband says no don't get anything it's oblivious she doesn't want to attend us. I just say no thank you we're leaving. It's upsetting in this day and age how customer service has gone down as if trying to come to an establishment and order is a crime or bother to employees. I see this place has a lot of good reviews so I don't understand why she would be in such a bad mood. It's ok I came to Juju Bar in Costa Mesa the bowls look just as good and the employees are more up beet and ready to greet and help out. read more

Was craving sweets after stopping by Nguyen's Kitchen but Blue Bowl was closed. Love that this place is open late and seems to follow the hours of Nguyen's. Moe and No had great customer service, super helpful and patient despite us being so indecisive. There was a good amount of base and topping options and the fruits were fresh and sweet. I love Pur bowls in the FV location and I always came to this location in Orange often. However, the service I received today felt really disappointing & disrespected. I wanted to get dessert after visiting my dying bf from St. Joseph hospital nearby. I was ordering a 12 oz. Matcha base bowl with just chia pudding and granola. The bowl was only filled halfway and I wasn't going to have any other toppings so I asked a non harmful question if I could have extra matcha base? The girl looked at her coworker and gave her a judgemental look like it was an unreasonable question. The girl with the blonde hair ponytail said, " NOPE- no extra matcha base." I said that they can put the base on top so they don't have to redo the bowl but she kept on saying, "aww then I have to do it again.." I told her no it's okay because you can just put the matcha base on top and it's common sense that I'll mix it anyway. So this girl put the scoop of matcha base on top and didn't even out the scoop, then she walked to the cashier and said "next time just tell me that in the beginning." I asked in the most nicest way possible, and she said that with attitude. It felt condescending and rude, I wouldn't come back because It felt like mean girls for just extra matcha base LMAO. So Note- not every bowl you make will have fruits or extra toppings, so I understand when things don't follow a certain routine, it can get frustrating, but it's not worth being upset at a customer asking for extra base? read more

Last night I was wanting to get an açaí bowl from Jamba Juice but they had just closed . I googled açaí bowl & right down the street was " Pur Bowl " For everyone out there , just know they are open until 2 am in the morning!!! I was greeted by Emily & Jazz . I was a little disappointed when I came in today and was attended by a girl with brown hair, she had a bad attitude the minute I walked in. while she was making my bowl she was rushing through it. she also got bothered when I asked if I could add another topping to it. After she was done ringing me up she slid the bowl to me and it slid pretty fast. in a very rude manner almost tossing it off the counter. I knew she was in the wrong when her other coworker asked her not to do that. read more

Besides having fresh ingredients and a variety to chose from it's the hours for me since I work graveyards. They're open til 0230am and it's nice to have a healthier option open late hours. They also have smoothies and as for their bowls they have ones made to order or customized. My favorite is their pitaya but I also changed it up and ordered their matcha base with their matcha chia. I just walk here across from work and the place is right next to a Nguyen's Kitchen. The location is in a well lit populated area. The inside is managed well and kept clean. The Menu is really cool, they have a lot of different options and ways to customize their bowls. I also like their premade options. But the service today was so bad... not sure why the one girl making the Bowls had such a bad attitude. Wouldn't make eye contact. And just kept mumbling. I was excited to try you guys out, I heard so much about your bowls.. but as soon as I walked in one of the employees were rude, she had an attitude and It seemed like she had an issue serving me because I interrupted her task that she was doing, or because I came late..otherwise the bowl was good. I am not a fan of acai bowls, but the bowls here are the most beautifully made and best tasting acai bowls I've ever had! Not only did they have amazing food, they also provided amazing service. On top I added agave, almond butter, strawberries, bananas, and kiwi. I also snagged their Glow Greens pressed juice. This is jam packed with all my favorite green ingredients: green apple, red apple, cucumber, lemon, cayenne, and ginger. My only suggestion would be to have printed menus available onsite. I have mediocre eyesight and it can be tough to read the digital screens from so far away. I'm sure others feel the same!

I have gone the past 2 years and never had issues getting it on the first day. This year was different. I got there around 5:05 and walked into the shop to see a lot of tables empty. I was shocked to see that. I waited in line with maybe like two people in front of me and guess what they asked of Pliny was still available. The guy working said to the people in front of me that they sold out. It was my turn I asked if they had it and the guy said that they had a line since 3pm and that they sold out of the keg. We ended up getting two beers since we went anyways but that's when things didn't add up. He kept telling all the other people that started to show up the same thing. These are reasons why it didn't add up 1) empty seats inside but had a line since 3pm and beer was released at 4pm 2) I don't think the people going for younger would just order one beer and not try other RR beers? 3) only one guy working beer counter and having to clean the tables and make sandwiches? 4) 12 oz pours of beer and keg with about 1984 oz would make it 166 beers. No way they sold 166 beers in an hour with one person working the bar and shop empty in an hour. They could have posted on their instagram or socials that they sold out but failed to do so. I'm sure a lot of people all night were disappointed to see that they didn't have it or post anything about it.

I've visited Pur Bowls probably about 10 times, and I keep coming back because of their acai and coco-lina. The blend of flavors is spot-on and one of the best I've tried. I also had the mango base once, but it was a bit too icy for my taste, so I'll be sticking with my favorite. However, the experience can be hit or miss. The biggest inconsistency is with the toppings. Sometimes they're generous and fill up the bowl, but other times they barely give you enough, which can be disappointing. The service has also been consistently underwhelming. I don't typically like to write about poor service, but in almost all my visits, the staff seemed irritated or inconvenienced, especially when asked for something simple like a lid or a bag. On one occasion, when I asked the cashier to repeat herself because it was noisy, I was met with multiple sighs and clear irritation. I still love their coco-lina and acai, but the service and inconsistency in portions definitely make me hesitant to visit more often. I absolutely love their blue chia pudding and "the" butter options especially, as they are a unique and welcome addition to any bowl. This location has moved recently to the corner of Stewart and Main and now offers more seating indoors and outdoors. The staff is all great and do such a great job making your bowls, making them with precision and care every time. If you're in the mood for an açaí bowl then look no further than Blue Bowl, as they have plenty of locations in OC and are a step above the competition.

They had a good variety of bowl options, and there were plenty of toppings to customize your bowl. Everything looked fresh and was clean. The portions were good, the prices were reasonable, and the staff were friendly. I plan on visiting again when in the area!

You can choose as many bases as you want. Compared to other açaí places I've tried, I felt like the bases, especially the mango and pitaya, were a bit icier as opposed to creamier consistencies. It was almost as if they've been in the freezer longer. However, the flavor was still good. What I really loved about this place though was the fact that they overfill your cup. Even though I ordered the smallest size, they filled it to the brim with the bases and dry toppings and then they put the fruits in a separate cup. It was so much easier to dig through my cup and not fearing something would drop. The service was good as well! I think this place is an affordable option for açaí and you definitely get a lot of bang for your buck :)

A few seconds later, a Caucasian couple walked in and went to the same register I had been waiting at and were helped immediately. My sister, who was with me, even asked if I noticed what happened because it was so obvious. I told her yes. My family and I have been coming here for a while, but the new hires have very poor customer service. This experience felt disrespectful and discriminatory, and we will not be returning.
