Really enjoyed my experience at this location. I've taken classes at other locations before and moved here recently so I'm trying some different places in the area before deciding on memberships. I did a ClassPass because I was always active and petite until Covid. I am in such a good place mentally, that my next journey to focus on would naturally be my physical one. I didn't think I could do this. My only goal was to not quit and to stay in the room for the full class...and I did and now I am hooked. I feel so fortunate to have taken the first step of completing a foundations class and directly after class I signed up for an unlimited membership. If you are having any doubts, this is your place. It is everyone's place. Chelsea and all instructors, employees, and members have created a beautiful, safe community for you to do your thing and thrive. The community here lifts each other. They are non-judgmental, diverse, and beautiful. During my first class I was asked about my "why". I simply wanted more accountability. I had no clue I would gain an empowering community and more confidence as well. I love coming to class. I love pushing myself. I feel a sense of fitness motivation I have not felt in years. I love the encouragement everyone gives and receives from one another. This studio is such a happy place. It is clean, bright, and radiates good vibes. It has exceeded all expectations I had set. Terrible company was terrible shady practices. Basically the first month you join you were bound to two month contract because you have to cancel your subscription within 30 days and if you do within those three days, you're also charged an early cancellation fee. This is not made transparent when you sign up, but is in the five page fine print that you signed up on initial Membership, my son was in the hospital when I had to cancel so I had to pay a whole month that I was never going to use. read more

I was looking for a place where I could feel safe, comfortable, and not judged for where I was in my physical fitness journey. I did a random google search for women's fitness in my area and was led to Pure Barre Woodbridge and what an amazing joy it has been. Not only did I find what I was looking for but so much more. I found a welcoming community of people who just made me feel so accepted and strong! I LOVE coming here each and every time I am signed up for a class which is almost daily. I have been a member of this student since August 2021 and the owner, Chelsea, and Studio Manager, Alisa, are absolute gems. Their front desk staff are always welcoming and make it a point to remember you. Of course, there are some growing pains with this studio being new and having to recruit and train new teachers, as well as they don't offer all styles of the Pure Barra classes yet, but they are working on it and are always forthcoming with communication. I did a free intro class to get a taste of pure barre. Keep in mind the whole idea of the free intro class is so they can sell you the membership. I was met at the front by a young woman named Robin. She gave me the breakdown and tour of the studio, however, it was obvious she was following some sort of script as she kept "forgetting her lines." I love a good script but hers' felt poorly rehearsed and gave me the impression that she didn't really know what she was talking about. The room has a very noticeable odor, much stronger than it should be. Perhaps they need to hit the carpet floors with a good cleaning or lysol it down every night. The class itself wasn't too bad. I found the most challenging part to be the warm up. The instructor was great and the class went by very fast. Of course at the end, they try to sell you a membership. Robin gets up and personal with you trying to sell you the membership. I was most definitely interested in getting a membership, however, Robin was very pushy and insistent on members of the class buying their membership right that minute. Someone in class said they would think about it and sign up at home. Robin says in a very accusatory manner..."What's stopping you from signing up right now?" "What's the reason?" At that very moment I changed my mind because the whole situation felt very pressured and pushed on to me. Great class, not so great customer service. read more

Pure Barre was one of the good things to come out Covid. I joined the studio in Dec '20 as a founding member. I am not an avid gym girl as I hate the treadmill and I am not a fan of running. Being a former dancer, these classes have been a perfect fit! This studio has allowed me to work out and tone my muscles with the small intense movements. I have met some amazing individuals at this studio. We take class together and hang out socially together! We are each others' accountability partners to ensure we make it to class or finish a challenge! :) read more

Sometimes you want to go where everybody knows your name and you're always glad you came. Yes, I know that's a line from the theme song for Cheers, but it applies here 100%. The whole experience from walking through the door to walking out is amazing. The receptionist ALWAYS greets you with a warm and genuine smile, so from the jump, you feel welcome. The instructors take the time to learn each attendees name and throughout the class offers specific encouragement. The best part is the friendships that are formed with some of the most amazing people you will ever meet. I call Pure Barre Woodbridge my happy place. Yes, the classes are hard, but afterwards you have this immense sense of accomplishment. So glad I found out about Pure Barre Woodbridge. With the pandemic I slacked on working out and was looking for something new, fun, and challenging. The teachers are simply incredible, and the students are lovely. What I love the most is that you use the PB app to schedule your classes, this way you know you will have a spot in class. In my first week the teachers took the time to meet with me and ask about my personal goals, and following that I've been getting personalized attention during class. I love Pure Barre Woodbridge! Each class is a challenging, total body workout, mainly small, low-impact movements with modifications for every movement. As a former marathon runner, I find these workouts to be difficult and enjoyable. Stretching is performed between each section of class, so I always leave feeling energized and refreshed! Also, everyone here is amazing. The instructors, staff and members are so thoughtful and supportive! read more

Yesterday, I took a free introductory class and I loved it!! The workout was intense and my body felt great afterwards! I loved the energy that Chelsea shared! I knew when the class ended that this was the place for me to re-start my fitness journey after a long hiatus due to Covid. I immediately enrolled in the unlimited class package and liked that they called me right away to acknowledge my signing up and to welcome me. FINALLY a Pure Barre within a reasonable driving distance! AND they are fantastic! Don't let the "barre" title fool you into needing to have a dance background. You don't. Nor do you need to worry about being judged, only encouragement by all. It is a low impact with small movements workout that keeps all the muscles engaged. I finally found a workout and community I love, I live in Manassas and wake up at 420 AM To get my classes.
