I called 7/8 different places before finding this gem! The reason I chose this office is because Gabby was so informative on ortho care and prep before starting the process. I got the cavity clearance for my 12yr old daughter and a called Gabby back the next day and she was able to get us in! Donovan was the tech that helped us with X-rays, and a super cool imaging machine that took before pics and even showed us the outcome once the treatment was done! He was super friendly and made my daughter comfortable with some Cobra Kai on Netflix! Joel was able to go over her personal action plan and the cost breakdown. Must schedule ahead of time to get your teeth done. They dont have anything available the next day. When u come ask for Doctor Loftus. She is really nice and helpful. The staffs (Jeni) and the front desk young lady ( Sorry didnt ask for her name) are nice too. They answered all my questions and very accommodating. Its better to come on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday morning (they are not very busy) no wait at all. But if you come on a Thurs or Fri afternoon, its not that greats, long wait ... * The reason why i gave a 4 stars is because they make me pay before I walk in to see the doctor. I feel very weird. I always enjoy coming here. I was so nervous the first time, but they always make me feel so welcome. When my son was young, they even helped keep him occupied for my x-rays! Dr. K did my cleaning today and did such an excellent job. Jessica helped take my x-rays and finish my cleaning, and she is so sweet and makes sure there's no pain. Definitely recommend coming here! The worst dental practice imaginable. I came in for a cleaning. A female dentist I had never met, didn't introduce herself told me I had ground my teeth to stubs, I needed a mouth guard. Then she sent the rude and heartless salesman in to tell me I needed a deep cleaning $1500 and a $1500 mouthguard that could only be purchased there. I got up and said "No thanks". Then these criminal lowlife grifters submitted a claim to my insurance company saying they had done a deep cleaning and were compensated hundreds of dollars. Unbelievable scumbags and insurance fraudsters. They did nothing at all since I saw through this monstrous scam and left. When I went to a reputable dentist, no teeth were ground down, they were in excellent shape. I can't believe this dental practice is allowed to stay in business. The scum of the earth. read more

I visited as a new patient for cleaning and an examination, which they have a special for $59. I was seen promptly and Jenny was very quick to take my x-rays. Dr. Tsai and Donavan were very thorough with my exam in which I had a few cavities. The manager Joel was able to provide me with pricing for the fillings quickly and soon after I was on my way to get them done. Donavan did an awesome job taking my X-rays, I do have a gag Reflex , but Donavan had a technique where he puts listerine in my mouth and apply the sensor at the same time and it somehow worked. He also cleaning my teeth and gave me great oral hygiene habits. I just got new health insurance due to Covid so I have been looking around for a new dentist. Side note: I had recently went to a Western dental down the street, where they tried to lie & convince me that my appointment was at a different time, even though I had 3 different types of conformations. It was a mess! I ended up having to walk out on them. & then decided to come try Pure Cypress Dentist. Right away I was blown away because when I stepped in to the office it was extremely clean and they were ready for me to go in! Let me tell you this has NEVER happened to me before. I've always had to wait and wait and wait at the doctors. There was no waiting here! They definitely know how to safely schedule their patients due to the pandemic. I've been to some other appointments where their offices are not as precautious & clean as Pure was. All of the staff was really friendly and wearing their mask of course. I was quickly seen by Victoria and got my x-rays taken right away. She was always making sure I was comfortable & if I needed anything or breaks. When it was time to see Dr. Ha He let me know a little bit about himself and made sure I was feeling comfortable to start my check up. He explained everything he was doing and even complimented me on how I've been able to keep my teeth so white even though I hadn't seen a dentist in almost 8 years!! (I know, super bad! lol) In the end I had a few fillings that needed to be done & they got started RIGHT away! I was actually shocked that they didn't try to make me come back a different day like other places have in the past. They were ready to do anything I needed. I never felt uncomfortable or any pain at all. Victoria and Dr. Ha were practically done in a flash. They were amazing with me and I totally trusted them. After my appointment I was explaining to my sister how great of an experience I had. & then they even sent me a super sweet thank you text. Everyone here was really nice and friendly. I was welcomed in and I had to pay $20 for PPE due to COVID19 which was pretty understandable until I found out other offices didn't charge me the fee as I was looking for more affordable option to extract my wisdom teeth. They offered to take out my wisdom teeth for free because I have Medical but they wanted to charge me $325 per tooth for the bone graft. There's a reason why I have Medical because my income isn't high but paying more than $1,000 to have my wisdom teeth pulled out is a little too out of my pocket. But hey, at least they were really nice about it and offered payment plans lol. The doctor was trying to convince me to do the same day as my cleaning visit to "get it out of the way" and I thought it was a little suspicious because wouldn't it hurt and how could I drive home being all numb and dumb? So I left and did a little more digging and found a surgeon that could extract my wisdom teeth for zero cost. Being totally transparent, bone graft isn't necessary unless you're old or trying to regrow your teeth but I have no intentions of doing so. I guess my overall experience here was pretty good considering how nice the staffs were but apparently this guy who was cleaning my teeth didn't even believe in COVID19 and he said it was some fake news bs. If you didn't believe in COVID19 then why did you charge me $20 for some PPE? read more

Avoid this dentistry at all costs and here is why. I am not one to ever leave a review for anything but this experience was once of the worst I have had at any business. I recently moved to CA so I needed to find a good dentist and seeing that this place had the most 5 start ratings on google maps and Yelp, I decided it was a good bet. I'll summarize my experience for my first checkup visit to keep it short. I was x-rayed, and then Dr. Thomas inspected my teeth and cleaned them. The issue was when Joel, the treatment coordinator came in with my treatment plan. For some context, I am a healthy 20 year old. My last checkup was less then a year ago and I had no issues whatsoever besides a recommendation to plan for a wisdom removal. Upon receiving my treatment plan I was shocked, I was told that I would need to remove my wisdom teeth immediately, have a root canal and crown put on a molar and two other cavities filled. One of the most shocking parts was the "bone grafts" for my wisdom removal an additional out of pocket 450 dollar charge each. At the bottom of the list for a easy 2 grand was Invisalign. I have a large jaw and have always had straight teeth and no spacing / alignment issues. After asking Jose why I would need a bone graft or Invisalign I received an extremely shallow answer along the lines of "a bone graft will fill the holes in your gums" and "Invisalign doesn't just help straighten the teeth there are many other benefits". If this wasn't enough of a red flag already, they wanted to take my wisdom teeth out on the SPOT, with no consultation or rundown of what to expect / aftercare. This place also has availability almost any day, which is most certainly a red flag in the dental industry. When leaving, I was basically forced to scan a QR code at the front desk to leave a review, I also read in another review that they offer free whitening strips for a 5 star review. Upon consulting my previous dentist over the phone (who is in a different state) about my treatment plan she straight up laughed and told me to never go back Pure Cypress. Trying to take advantage of a broke college student is horrendous. These people are scam artists who will not think twice about putting you through weeks of pain for an extra buck. . read more

I wish I could give more stars. Let me start by saying I am so afraid of the dentist. I have crippling anxiety, and it is my number one fear, to get my teeth worked on. I haven't been to the dentist office in over 20 years. I know I was long over due, and I couldn't stand the pain anymore. I was greeted by Joel who was so patient and kind. His chair side manner is phenomenal, and his customer service is a rarity these days. I could go on and on, but you should just go and see for yourself. Dr. Ha also exceeded my exceptions, he's so thorough and informative. He goes step by step. He doesn't rush through, he makes sure you're comfortable, and feel safe. I found my dentist FINALLY!!!! I wouldn't recommend this place because of the contestant mistakes they do on my teeth and the total miscommunications. I don't like how they don't tell me which multiple teeth need to be fixed. Instead they explain one tooth at a time. I got incredibly mad and lost my trust in them when I got my crown done. Then after they placed it in which turned out to be wrong. The owner/dentist said "okay and you have another one on this tooth as well" I was in complete shock cuz I didn't know and they didn't tell me. I was upset and they said "we will give you a free whiting strip if you give us a 5 star review". I felt like they didn't respect me at all and this is all just for the money. I will not be going here anymore. Just to find out that my crown is placed wrong and I have a possibility of infection overtime. This place isn't good if you want anything fixed or stable. I ALSO found out that I DONT need a bone graft after a wisdom tooth extraction. Everyone in there was tryna hustle me for $640 for a bone graft when it's NOT NEEDED. DONT COME HERE THEY WILL HUSTLE YOU. Please just go somewhere else where you have one loyal dentist instead of 6 different dentist working on you. read more
