But what really upset me was my interaction with whom I think is the office manger (she never introduced herself). She literally came into the procedure room to "reprimand" me for having a quiet patient to patient conversation in the empty waiting room. Extremely unprofessional and just wild. It was shocking. I also believe the young girl went the "manger" because the manger didn't make sense and wasn't even in the front office while I was in the waiting room. I will be making a formal complaint to DHCS. No Nonsense Service!…read more I recently got assaulted at work and got my tooth chipped and my worker's comp promoted me to come here. Firstly the equipment they have is top of the line, you are able to have a clear view of your teeth after X-Rays. Secondly they did an excellent handling my worker's comp and doing their best make sure I got my coverage of the entire procedure I needed for my teeth and that's what I exactly got today. Came in, got me set and started my procedure. Please note, they are quick and deadly efficient with their procedure. Don't expect sweet talk, they are there to get your work done with high proficiency and be ready to open your mouth! Really great work and clear communication they provide, would recommend. I will be coming back again to get my permanent crown set so in the meantime they prepping my ceramic crown. Thank you!

I only started seeing Dr. Juste Karvelyte after having a baby because my previous dentist -- who ultimately ended up helping fix this situation in the end -- was a far drive with a newborn at home. Looking back, switching providers was a huge mistake. From the beginning, Dr. Juste seemed to find issues with many of my teeth, and I spent thousands of dollars on fillings and dental work. One tooth in particular was not causing me any pain or discomfort, but she repeatedly insisted that I needed a crown placed on it. After hearing it brought up multiple times, I finally agreed, and it ended up being the worst dental experience I've ever had. I had a crown placed by Dr. Juste Karvelyte at Smile HQ Dental in August 2025. From the beginning, I experienced ongoing discomfort and returned to the office multiple times for bite adjustments because the tooth continued to hurt. The tooth had not been bothering me at all before the crown, and it was my primary chewing side, but afterward I could no longer comfortably chew anything on that side. Despite several visits, the issue was never resolved. Approximately six months later, the crown became dislodged and ultimately had to be completely replaced by my previous dentist, who quickly came to my rescue. He evaluated the tooth, confirmed that the crown was not properly fitted to my tooth at all, and explained why I had been experiencing so much pain. He also documented concerns with the crown retention and advised that a completely new crown was necessary. Because my insurance would not initially cover replacement work so soon after the original procedure, I was forced to pay a significant amount out of pocket to repair the tooth. What followed was months of back-and-forth with Dr. Juste's office involving records requests, insurance grievances, billing reconciliation, and extensive documentation in order to resolve the situation. During this process, I also discovered discrepancies between what Delta Dental listed as my patient responsibility and what I had actually been charged, which ultimately resulted in a refund after I requested an account reconciliation with Dr Juste To Dr. Karvelyte's credit, after extensive communication, the original claim was eventually voided and corrected through Delta Dental, which allowed my replacement crown claim to be reprocessed properly. However, the overall experience was extremely stressful, time-consuming, and financially draining, and I personally would not choose to return to this office for future dental care. I strongly encourage patients to carefully review treatment plans, insurance explanations of benefits, and billing statements, and to seek a second opinion if something does not feel right.

My partner has trauma from the neglect this place had when she was a kid but needed urgent dental work done and figured this place still had her records. They didn't. we were waiting and everyone checking out was yelling at the front desk because of the awful service which should've been the first red flag. They said she would be well taken care of when I said I had to step out and as soon as I did they arm wrestled her into spending $50 for the scan and now we can't have access to the scan because she has to pay $500. The scan was done a month ago so the seeing her sooner was a lie. When I call customer support every one is either rude or it's their first day and they keep hanging up on me. I called in for EMERGENCY NERVE PAIN and the person on the phone said nobody said anything about her being in pain which is some major BS, idk about you, but I've never seen people beg to get their tooth extracted for fun. All I want is my partner to not be in pain, not extorted and yelled at. I can't even get ahold of a manager because they're always on vacation (probably with the money they scam from people) also I'm not sure If they hire real dentists, they just threw someone who had no idea how to do a cleaning to practice cleaning when she came in for nerve pain.
