I tried the Indecisive Bowl, the PBJ, and the Date Smoothie, and every single one hit the spot. The bowl was fresh and layered with flavor, the PBJ tasted like a healthier throwback to the classic combo, and the Date Smoothie was rich, naturally sweet, and super satisfying. By far the best locations are in Edison and East Brunswick. I love that this Playa is located on my alma mater but their bowls have definitely got smaller and smaller over the years. I just moved away from Hawaii so I felt right at home with the surf and beach theme. I ordered one of the açaí bowls and it was the best açaí bowl I've ever had. I don't know how they make it taste different from the others but it was amazing. I love the story about why the owners started the business.
