Gimme a break. But my goodness was I WRONG. It was my first 'I'm glad I was wrong' moment of 2026. The location is nostalgic as it used to house Vibeflow Yoga (it was a great yoga studio too). Morgan greeted me when I walked in and I knew instantly the experience would be different. She took the time to show me every aspect of the private suite. The entire location feels and smells like a spa. Here's my input and newbie take on my first experience: The infrared sauna : - is so warm and cozy even when you turn it to the max 175 degrees. It's not the unbearable wet/hot sauna where you pour water on coals. You can control the lighting colors (I turned off which made it more zen for me) Cold Plunge: - ok yeah THIS was no joke at 50 degrees. The tub was immaculate and was constantly filtering ( I think). There's another towel on top of the tub. I could barely sit in the tub for the first 35 of the 60 min of my time in room. I would go from sauna to tub and practice breathing techniques. **My tip: remember all the obstacles you've conquered in 2025 and how you overcame it SO moments in a cold plunge is EASY compared to all you've done.** I ended with a whooping 10 SECONDS (yes!) in the tub and almost cried b/c i was so proud of myself (no joke) Vit C shower: - meh. Didnt feel a difference. They have shamp, conditioner, body wash (the body wash was empty) The room was equipped with a small tv that connects to the sauna. You can do youtube, netflix. I just kept it on a youtube 'soft rain storm' sounds which was so awesome in my warm sauna. Make sure you ask the girls how to pair the tv to the sauna if it turns off as i had issues and couldn't reach anyone for help. There's also an outside area with 2 dyson dryers. The only un-Zen moment i had was when two girls were using the dryers and cackling with laughter/talk and i heard everything (room 10 isn't ideal as it's closest to hair dryers). The visit really changed my perspective on contrast therapy. The 60 min felt not enough and flew by SO FAST. I could have gone two hours. It was the first time I was fully UNPLUGGED (didnt ck any calls/texts/ emails). I was in MY ZONE and used every moment to relish the contrasts (it was calming, challenging, and mentally great). I signed up for one of their memberships. Yeah, not cheap but let's see how it goes. My second visit was even better (chose a diff room). And guess how long I lasted THIS time in plunge. Almost 4.5 minutes - BOOOOYAHHH. Thank you Morgan and Elizabeth (the best staff) for giving me advice and encouragement about plunging.

It's a mobile Eastern European sauna…read more Growing up with a culture of Eastern European banya's and sauna's, I randomly stumbled upon a pop up event at a beach where I first learned about this mobile wood burning sauna. It's basically a trailer that can be delivered to your house, or they also do pop up events all over San Diego. I've attended a few of the pop up events (3 so far) and they have all been amazing. The few I've gone have been at La Jolla shores and there is complimentary tea and you can use the sauna/banya. It gets REALLY HOT, and there are traditional "veniks" or birch tree leaves you can use to exfoliate your skin. After you sweat, you can either do a cold plunge in the ocean or use the shower that's attached to the trailer to get your sweat off and do it all over again. I guarantee you will feel amazing and sleep well that night and feel it the next day. I'm so glad I found something like this. The only downside is that it can be a little tough to find out about the events- it would be cool if there was a consistent spot (i.e. every Wednesday in North County San Diego), etc, but otherwise you just have to keep up with where it's at....kind of like a food truck for now. Also: it might be a little intimidating attending if you don't know anyone or speak a Slavic language as it seems like a tight knit community, but just keep coming...I promise people are friendly, but they might just take a little while to warm up.
