Having used near infrared light and other red light therapies for healing injuries, I wanted to experience a more indepth service. Deep Wave is just what I was looking for to take my health, wellbeing and fitness to the next level. I was specifically seeking the far inrared light sauna experience, which has been great! Unlike a "regular" old school sauna where I can only last 5-10 minutes, the private red light sauna is a pleasant 40 minute experience where I emerge feeling energized and refreshed. Deep Wave provides cool towels and refreshing water after the experience in a clean, zen-like and inviting private sauna room, providing a spa like experience. (And sauna use in general is known for being a great health benefit for most people.) I also booked the 40 minute red light (Light Stim LED) therapy bed (with the antiaging face light treatment included) and was really pleased with this as well, and have booked more. This unit is also located in it's own serene and private locking room, just like the sauna. Your choice of music is available for a relaxing treatment. For both therapies, you can choose to wear whatever amount of clothing is comfortable for you. Jacob, the owner of Deep Wave, was very helpful and informative, clearly explaining all needed details, and was very attentive. As with any wellness/beauty/health treatment, you are recommended to check with your medical provider before starting any new therapies, etc. There are several discounted package options available, and I was able to use a great Groupon deal for my initial sauna sessions. Deep Wave is located within a cute and clean collective wellness/beauty suite comprised of several providers. It is located in the College Plaza commercial building, with ample access and parking.
