The space is smaller and lacking the locker rooms, changing areas, and courts the old location had. The previous location was already in a run-down part of Arlington, and this one isn't much of an improvement. On top of that, I was VERY disappointed to hear they will no longer have a kids club at the new location. I never received a heads-up or saw any posts mentioning this, and as a parent, that would have been nice to know at the VERY least. If you didn't like the previous location, you will definitely not like this one. The owner also has a temper, which made the whole experience even more frustrating. I've been a loyal customer for years, and now I have to go look elsewhere for a local gym.

However with all the info and also seeing how well the gym was put together (cleanliness, music and machines) I didn't see why I had to go home to just comeback and sign up. I was a bit nervous about the machines (different from other gyms) but the owner assured me there is someone here always to help explain and assist. I received a tour and if you like your space at a gym and need a good vibe to workout, THIS IS YOUR PLACE! Also a plus the restrooms are very clean! I will post a update in a month or so. It has a fit family feel, which sometimes just isn't there in the bigger corporate gyms. This isn't just a competitor's gun, either. I've seen all types of folks in this gym, too. The other snap fitnesses in the area did not have a free weighted bench press. This one did! Third times the charm, right? They have everything I need. Very open space so it doesn't feel too crowded. Great location too! Most gyms are cold, so I usually bring a hoodie, 1 to sweat and 2 to keep my muscles warm. Here, it was perfect. I was able to take my hoodie off without freezing to death. This location will be seeing me for the next 4 weeks while I stay in Dallas.

From my personal experience, I did not like coming during staffed hours because the owners would let their small children run around the gym, which I thought was distracting and unsafe. I ended up moving away from this area and unfortunately had a terrible experience with the staff when trying to cancel my membership. I was given false information from one of their employees, and Tommy (the owner) was not willing take any responsibility for it on his employee's behalf. Instead, I ended up being charged over $60 in membership dues that I should not have been responsible for. Not a very honorable way to run a business. I also contacted the Snap corporate office and didn't recieve so much as an apology. I will not be returning to this gym or any of its franchises in the future.

The equipment is all very new and perfect for the college student! a place to put your books, a TV to watch, music to listen to all while running on a treadmill, or walking up 89 flights of stairs on the stair master! The track is 3 lanes and wide enough for people to walk and run 9 laps for a mile! Me and my roommate try to come as often as possible, and we love the facility here. A lot better than LA fitness or 24 hour fitness. The gym is vast and there are always enough machines to use. They also have rock climbing, billiards, indoor and outdoor basketball courts, ping pong tables, outdoor sand volleyball court and even an indoor and outdoor pool! There is so many fun and creative ways to workout here, and I'm never disappointed. It does get busy at times (as expected) the most busiest times are at the beginning of the semester and around 7ish or so (when everyone gets out of class) even though it's crowded, there is always something to workout on. There is just so much equipment and so much resources. I also took the group classes with my roommate it was $30 for a whole semester of group classes (yoga, piloxing, zumba, hip-hop cardio, total body pump, etc.) We absolutely loved the classes and the teachers of the class were fun and lively. The MAC is also a great place to study! If you're an extrovert (like me), this is a perfect place to study. The booths are nice and spacious, but they are hard to get (because everyone wants one) they also have many tables and TVs and a lot of people which is always fun on my study break when I want to people watch ._. There are also a lot of computers for you to work/study and even print things. UTA was certainly looking out for the best interest of their students when building the MAC. Love it here and always coming back!

What is different about KRB Fitness is the individual care and the knowledge and information I get. It has been more than an exercise program its been a life change.
