Fantastic products! Smell great and love the feel after you've use their lotion. The lavender scented lotion is my favorite.

Stumbled upon a total gem yesterday! My sister Reisa…read moreSalonga and I were wandering through downtown Pleasanton and couldn't resist popping into Good Common Sense. The outside was covered in the most beautiful spring flower decorations....it perfectly matched the gorgeous weather! We were so inspired to learn that everything in the shop is handmade and completely free of harsh chemicals. We even got to meet the owner, who is incredibly knowledgeable and down to earth. It honestly brought so much light to our lives just discovering such a thoughtful, local spot. If you're looking for high-quality natural skincare or just a "feel-good" local shop, you have to check this place out. Such a perfect day to be free and discover something new! They had dinosaur egg bath bombs with a hidden toy inside and a bunny bath bomb that you can paint and add to an Easter basket..you know I got a couple for King! For myself, I indulged on their handmade soap bar with this cloth material that acts as a scrubber and holder for your soap and sugar body scrub that I can't wait to try.

Just a quick update…read more I like a darker lip color. Last year I found Witch, Please! at good common sense. It is a seasonal color so I was unable to replace the tube I lost until September when they made a new batch. I went in and bought 2 tubes. I wasn't happy with the depth of color on the new batch. When I said something, the owner agreed the color wasn't the same and apologized. She said would get additional mica and replace it for me. After I bought the new tubes, I found my missing tube so now I have 3! Thanks for making a customer happy!

During my visit, I asked an employee if she could check the price of an item for me. She responded…read moreby telling me there was a price scanner available, which must be new because I didn't know. I was not aware that customers were expected to use a scanner, and I don't understand why she couldn't simply check the price for me, especially since the store was not busy and several employees were standing around. (4 of them) Because of her attitude, I asked the lady in the 1st picture to check me out. I later realized that the same employee who had been rude to me was the manager. Even though earlier she was cleaning the store windows. Which made the interaction even more frustrating. When it came time to check out, I requested that a different employee assist me because I no longer felt comfortable being helped by the manager. I also asked for the manager's name so I could document my experience, but another employee told me she could not provide it. I found that confusing, especially since another employee nearby was openly wearing a name tag. As I was deciding whether to purchase one of the items, I turned to ask my daughter if she was interested in it. The manager made a sarcastic remark that made me feel rushed and unwelcome, despite there being no line and plenty of employees available. I expect to be treated with courtesy and respect when shopping. Asking for a price check and taking a moment to discuss a purchase with my daughter are both reasonable requests. Instead, I felt dismissed, rushed, and treated as though I was inconveniencing the staff. I hope this feedback is taken seriously so that other customers receive the level of customer service they deserve.

First of all, they do not turn on the AC even on a hot day. I was sweating so much and was hoping…read moreto get some relief from the hot weather in the store. It felt so hot and stuffy and I wanted to get out of there ASAP. The store was not fully stocked and had empty shelves in the back half of the store so I was able to look through everything quickly. They had really good deals on some Asian hair products I typically buy online, so I was really excited to get some items regardless of how terrible it felt inside the store. I got a hair mask to try so I'm excited about that, but I also tried buying a hair oil I love that was listed on sale for $16.99. A really good price! However, when I went to the cash register, she rang it up as $22.99/23.99 which was original price. When I pointed it out she looked at the deal, took it off and was doing something on the computer, taking some time with the process. She then scanned it again and rang it up for the same price and repeated the total without acknowledging that the sale price didn't register. When I asked about it again, she said the promotion was over. I was really confused because I looked at the sign again and it did not have any information about how long the sale was until. And if it was over, why would they keep the sale sign up displayed? If I wasn't paying attention, I wouldn't have realized and purchased it. At that point, I was too hot and annoyed to question it and didn't want to drag it out further so I bought only the hair mask and took the hair oil off. I think it's quite predatory to have sale prices up and not honor those prices. She didn't even remove the sale price tag off after my purchase either. Although it seems like there's great deals for Asian hair care and skincare products, I don't think I would bother coming here again. There wasn't great customer service and they do not honor sale prices. If you're purchasing an item on sale, make sure to pay attention to how much it is when they ring it up in case you encounter the same issues.

I was looking for makeup since the name has "beauty" in it. Customer service was non-existent. Girl behind the counter didn't even say hello as we walked in.
